Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Surrey **Update please read description**

Partially Fenced
40 acres

📢 Temporary Update – New Play Area & Adjusted Pricing Hi everyone — quick update! Due to unexpected renovations and ongoing landscaping/drainage work, our main large field and forest area is temporarily closed while improvements are completed. We are still open, and visits will now take place in our **new private play area**, which includes a fenced field, river access, a bit of forest, and multiple spots to relax and lounge. Parking remains the same. I’ve also added a simple map showing the current play area, walking path, and the temporarily closed main field. Because this is a different setup than what was originally offered, pricing has been adjusted accordingly. All existing bookings made at the original rate will receive a partial refund (or a discount for a future visit). We’re taking things week-by-week while work is underway and appreciate everyone’s patience while we get the full property back to top shape. If you have any questions or would prefer to reschedule or cancel, feel free to message me anytime. Thank you for your understanding and continued support! – Shayne IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD

Kimberly's Partially Fenced acreage In Abbotsford

Partially Fenced
86 acres

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Give your dog wide open space to run and play here on a large acreage right in town. Coming here will feel like you are in the country with the beauty of the mountains, a field to run in and a trail to hike in. *Please note that the acreage is a total of 86 acres including the crop areas. There is very little time that the crop area is restricted. When the pumpkins are grown, it is fun to walk up the rows and we welcome the pups to be in there, take photos etc. If you visit during planting, we ask the dogs stay out of that area as that can damage the crop. There is lots of space to run and walk/hike. The perimeter trail is approximately 3.5km. There is short grass, tall grass the dogs can go in and out all over the field in the front and middle of the property. As well as up the hill trail.

Frequently asked questions about Coquitlam dog hiking trails

Why are private dog hiking trails better than public dog parks in Coquitlam?

Private dog hiking trails in Coquitlam eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Coquitlam's 8 private dog hiking trails offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Coquitlam dog hiking trails compared to public dog parks?

Coquitlam dog hiking trails are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Coquitlam dog hiking trails eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Coquitlam dog hiking trails safe for reactive dogs?

Coquitlam owners of reactive dogs choose dog hiking trails because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy natural exploration and varied terrain while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Coquitlam reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Coquitlam dog hiking trails?

Yes! Coquitlam dog hiking trails provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment at their own pace without stress. Many Coquitlam dog hiking trails offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Coquitlam dog hiking trails good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Coquitlam dog hiking trails because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Coquitlam avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog hiking trails eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Coquitlam dog hiking trails work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Coquitlam dog hiking trails because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Coquitlam dog hiking trails with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Coquitlam dog owners say about dog hiking trails?

Reviews of Coquitlam dog hiking trails consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Peaceful mini-retreat with field & woods is particularly praised in Coquitlam. Read reviews to see real experiences from Coquitlam dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Coquitlam dog hiking trails?

Coquitlam hosts maintain their own dog hiking trails and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Coquitlam hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Coquitlam dog hiking trail listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
