Country Run's 58 Acre Private Ranch In Conifer

Partially Fenced
58 acres

Country Run's Private Ranch is 58 acres located just shy of one mile off of Highway 285 off of Pleasant Park Road. An amazing location - a hidden gem. As you walk from the parking area along the path, the property opens up into a beautiful aspen forest with wooden benches and a large meadow. Half way down the meadow on the left (west) side is a small riparian area with Alder trees - the beginning of several spring fed creeks. The hillside on the east side of the property offers rock outcroppings, large rock benches and 360 views. Our dogs thoroughly enjoy their time here and we hope your dog does, too! Depending on the time of year, the spring fed area can be muddy, an old towel is recommended for the drive home. This property is perfect for dog walks, picnics and celebrations. Please feel free to text with any questions. Thank you!

The Oregon Trail (Dog trail by Sedalia, CO)

Unfenced
30 acres

**ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING (OF ANY KIND) ON PROPERTY DUE TO FIRE RISK.** Private Mountain Forest Dog Adventure – Creek, Trails & Total Privacy. Let your dog explore 30 acres of private Colorado mountain forest with fresh air, tall pines, and peaceful trails. A groomed trail leads about ½ mile through Douglas fir and Ponderosa pine down to a quiet open creek area where dogs can run, explore, and cool off in the water.  -Can be muddy pending season (bring towel in case) The forest canopy keeps much of the trail shaded, and the creek area is often cooler on warm summer days, making it a great escape from the heat. This spot is perfect for dogs that love space, freedom, and the smells of the forest. Many guests come back regularly because their dogs can relax, roam, and explore without crowds. Wildlife are sometimes seen in the area, which adds to the peaceful mountain experience. Property Details • Approximately 30 acres of private forested land • Groomed walking trail leading to creek area • Shaded mountain terrain with beautiful views • Year-round creek access for dogs to drink or splash. Good to Know • This is a natural mountain property with uneven terrain, some areas are steep. • The property is unfenced • The county road forms the upper boundary and the creek forms the lower boundary • No smoking or open flames anywhere on the property due to wildfire risk • Please supervise dogs around the creek • Guests must have a completed Sniffspot profile with dog photos Winter time the small splash pond is drained during winter for safety, but the creek flows year-round.

55Very beautiful spot :) because finding places that other have no trouble finding, here is a tip :) when you see the Oregon trail sign that is the one. It is before the neighbors mailbox, not after. (If you are going up the mountain). Others figured this out without this tip- I am a city gal and doubted my myself and just kept going ! Ha!! With that said, once my troop and myself got there, it was lovely. Because it was thundering and so we were not able to stay very long. Colorado weather, Am I right! It’s a bummer the weather shifted because Brian sent a message letting me know we could hang out even longer due to no one being after us. We would have loved to have stayed. Things to note: going down to the spot: easy peasy. Going back up: your glutes will feel it (and maybe thank you!) When we were down there, there wasn’t fresh water in the hanging water bins, so just in case bring some of your own. I do want to say, I didn’t look in the black totes that were there, so perhaps there was water there. There is a stream, so if your pup is so inclined, it is water party time!! I’m happy I remembered to bring towels :) Overall- really great relaxing place to spend time. There are even, what look like, hand made rocking swings, so be prepared to chill for a bit :).

Very beautiful spot :) because finding places that other have no trouble finding, here is a tip :) when you see the Oregon trail sign that is the one.

55Great place! Pay attention to the owner's directions and it's incredibly easy to find (Google Maps is a bit off). The trail is completely wooded and gorgeous. We had a blast at the trails end where there was a small creek, seats for humans, and fresh water for both pups and humans. It's easy here to have one person hide and then have the pups go seek in the wooded and hilly terrain, wearing them out thoroughly. Make sure to allow more time to walk back to your car as you'll be tired and the trail back is uphill.

Frequently asked questions about Sedalia dog water parks

Why are private dog water parks better than public dog parks in Sedalia?

Private dog water parks in Sedalia eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Sedalia's 23 private dog water parks offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Sedalia dog water parks compared to public dog parks?

Sedalia dog water parks are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Sedalia dog water parks eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Sedalia dog water parks safe for reactive dogs?

Sedalia owners of reactive dogs choose dog water parks because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy swimming and water play while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Sedalia reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Sedalia dog water parks?

Yes! Sedalia dog water parks provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a facility featuring pools, splash pads, or water play areas specifically designed for dogs to swim and cool off at their own pace without stress. Many Sedalia dog water parks offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Sedalia dog water parks good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Sedalia dog water parks because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Sedalia avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog water parks eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Sedalia dog water parks work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Sedalia dog water parks because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Sedalia dog water parks with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Sedalia dog owners say about dog water parks?

Reviews of Sedalia dog water parks consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Rachele's 2 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Appleridge Estates is particularly praised in Sedalia. Read reviews to see real experiences from Sedalia dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Sedalia dog water parks?

Sedalia hosts maintain their own dog water parks and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Sedalia hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Sedalia dog water park listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
