Dog park in the forest near Bellfountain.

Partially Fenced
25 acres

The property is a horse ranch on 25 acres surrounded by private forest. There is a shallow year round creek that is refreshingly cold and also a large pond that your dog can swim in. There are hiking trails that start at the edge of the property. The trails are mostly uphill. The outdoor and indoor arenas are available for an extra fee. They are mostly dog proof for large dogs but not escape proof for small dogs. The horses wander around the property early in the morning so if your dog chases horses it should be kept on a leash around the horses. I recommend that I show you around your first time out here. To get here you must be prepared to drive down 5 miles of gravel road. There is a gate to get into the property. The gate code will be sent to you with the welcoming message. Cell phone signals are weak once you get on the gravel so check the pre-visit message sent two hours before the appointment before you get out of cell service.

Nehemiah lane dog farm

Unfenced
30 acres

The property includes 30 unfenced acres of tall grass, trees, and quiet trails, with access to the Yamhill River on both sides of the bridge. Some areas may be swampy during the winter and spring, especially in the lower sections. Please be aware of common forest hazards such as blackberry bushes, poison oak, nettles, cow parsnip, and the occasional downed tree. There are no homes, restrooms or residents on the property only neighbors and a small garden area. You are welcome to explore both sides of the bridge. While there are "No Trespassing" signs posted near it, they are only intended to discourage the local homeless community. During the summer and fall, feel free to enjoy the fruit growing throughout the property most of which is at the far NW end of the grass road near the entrance. Deer and a variety of birds also call this place home and are best left undisturbed. You will find a couple of chairs and a small table set out for you to enjoy a quiet moment or watch the sunset. Please be respectful of our neighbors and remember to pick up after yourself and your dogs. Much of the property is being reforested in partnership with the USDA. Rows of young plantings are marked with colorful flags. They are hardy species, but please avoid letting your dogs urinate on the new trees and shrubs. If you bring kids feel free to use the swings at your own risk. Have a great time, Joshua

Frequently asked questions about Siletz dog water parks

Why are private dog water parks better than public dog parks in Siletz?

Private dog water parks in Siletz eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Siletz's 22 private dog water parks offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Siletz dog water parks compared to public dog parks?

Siletz dog water parks are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Siletz dog water parks eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Siletz dog water parks safe for reactive dogs?

Siletz owners of reactive dogs choose dog water parks because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy swimming and water play while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Siletz reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Siletz dog water parks?

Yes! Siletz dog water parks provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a facility featuring pools, splash pads, or water play areas specifically designed for dogs to swim and cool off at their own pace without stress. Many Siletz dog water parks offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Siletz dog water parks good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Siletz dog water parks because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Siletz avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog water parks eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Siletz dog water parks work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Siletz dog water parks because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Siletz dog water parks with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Siletz dog owners say about dog water parks?

Reviews of Siletz dog water parks consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Sassy Fox Farm is particularly praised in Siletz. Read reviews to see real experiences from Siletz dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Siletz dog water parks?

Siletz hosts maintain their own dog water parks and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Siletz hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Siletz dog water park listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
