We are currently overwhelmed with debris from the hurricane and recent storms. Most of the debris has to be temporarily staged in the area that is a portion of the SniffSpot area. If you would like to bring your pup to roam and play in the creek on a hot day, please message me first and I will check the clean-up schedule. Please understand we welcome you but the grassy field is not currently up to our standards. This beautiful open space is beside a bubbling creek wtih both sun and shade options. Across the property you will find digging spots (please fill all hoes) mud, grassy areas and plenty of space to explore. There is a water hose to rinse your dog and limited seating at this time. Please check back often as we are in the process of improving the space with future additional seating, an agility course, wash station and more.

We would love to share our yard with you and your fur-babies! We have fruit trees and berry bushes you are welcome to pick from! We get a ton of apples in the fall, so help yourself! Also, help yourself to snacks and drinks that I will provide prior to your arrival! We have playground equipment and games if you have any littles, and dog toys as well! Please know that I do garden, so please mind my vegetable garden if I have it planted during your visit. I will have it blocked off with small garden fencing. Dog waste bags are provided, and there is a trash can at the gate entrance that you can place them in. Thank you for taking time to visit my page. If you need absolutely anything, please reach out! My property has multiple trails, 2 small fields, streams, a large pond for swimming, and a dog wash station! Lots of space to play. Truly a dog paradise! My property is located on a long, gravel driveway (named by me as Maple Gap Rd) off Frozen Creek Road and just a short distance from the back entrance of Gorges State Park. Once turning onto Frozen Creek Road it’s about 1.3 miles on your right. You’ll see a small green sign saying Maple Gap Road and a Sniffspot sign. Parking is available beside the garage (looks like a house). Ok to park behind my silver truck that stays there. You’ll see a Sniffspot ‘park here’ sign, a dog waste station with bags, and a brown bench with tennis balls, water bowls, and bug spray in a storage bin under the seat. Access to the two small fields and stream is across the gravel driveway. My two homes on the property are vacation rentals by owner. If you see guests they may/may not have dogs. Mountain View Puppy Playtime

Our spacious backyard is fully fenced in with 4 gates, two of which are accessible for entry. The main gate is opened by a FOB which can be left outside for easy retrieval. Our dog loves to look at the chickens next door, play fetch, and chew on the many sticks in the yard. A large water bowl can be provided for pet use and drinks can be provided for animal parents upon request. We have hammocks and plenty of shaded area in the yard. We have kids and their toys are out and about, and we welcome families to use them. Your pet won’t get bored exploring this giant play area.

Pondside Paws Park

Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

Bazzle's Dog Park of Wellford

Roughly 3 acres of area to explore. Creek runs from one corner of the property to the next full of spots for pups to splash and play. Large open area (.5- 1 acre) to run in the front and about 2 acre of wooded area in the back. Currently not fenced in but we are working to have fenced in areas very soon. This park is in memory of my pup Bazzle that has recently passed away. I hope other dogs can have as much fun as he did here.

17 acre working farm with 50 livestock in fenced pastures. Entire farm is fenced in, including five livestock pastures and two corrals. Two turn-of-the-century barns great for photo backgrounds.
