Maple Ridge Farms-100 Acre Woods

Unfenced
100 acres

Our 100 acre farm has been in the family for over 30 years. We have put a lot of time and effort into the property. And we would love to share it with you and your fur family to. The trails are all very well maintained. You will likely see birds, deer and plenty of wildlife throughout the trials. We hope to see you out and about enjoying it just as much as we do with all of our animals. ****Notes**** Happy WINTER❄️☃️Please keep the weather in mind. All of our trails are in the woods. We try our best to drive the trails and keep them open as much as we can snow permitting 💪❄️ We HIGHLY recommend if the wind is Above 15 mph to reschedule. (You can cancel and get your money back-we understand) We just don’t want you or your pet getting hurt if anything were to happen in the woods. One other thing. Don’t forget bring those Boots. 🥾 All of our trails are usually dry. But if you do come after it snows or rains it could be a little muddy. There could also be some sticks on the trails if it happens to be super windy the day before and we can’t always get them cleaned up right away-we do apologize in advance 😊💪 One other thing: if it's snow, we don't put the water buckets out because we don't want them to freeze. I don't know about your pups, but mine love to eat the snow anyways. 🪣🤣☃️ Thank you for checking out our spot!! We look forward to meeting you and your furfriends. 🐕☺️ Maple Ridge Farms ❤️ *** If you have any questions always feel free to message us and ask ☺️🐕

Frequently asked questions about Sodus Township dog hiking trails

What do private dog hiking trails in Sodus Township offer that public parks don't?

Private dog hiking trails in Sodus Township offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for natural exploration and varied terrain, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Sodus Township can't guarantee any of this. With 18 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Sodus Township?

Yes! Most of Sodus Township's 18 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Sodus Township listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog hiking trails in Sodus Township?

Puppies can visit Sodus Township dog hiking trails as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore natural exploration and varied terrain without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Sodus Township trainers specifically use dog hiking trails for puppy development.

How do I find private dog hiking trails near me in Sodus Township?

Browse Sodus Township's 18 dog hiking trails on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Sodus Township listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Maple Ridge Farms-100 Acre Woods is particularly popular among Sodus Township dog owners.

Can I rent dog hiking trails in Sodus Township by the hour?

Yes! All 18 dog hiking trails in Sodus Township are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Sodus Township dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog hiking trails and public dog parks in Sodus Township?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Sodus Township mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 18 Sodus Township dog hiking trails give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys natural exploration and varied terrain and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog hiking trails in Sodus Township?

Yes! Sodus Township has climate-controlled indoor dog hiking trails perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Sodus Township locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Sodus Township weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Sodus Township dog hiking trails help with dog training?

Sodus Township trainers love dog hiking trails because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice trail recall in natural environments, leash manners on varied terrain, or hiking endurance building, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for natural exploration and varied terrain.
