The Doggy Dome

Fully Fenced
15 acres

We live on 15 acres, and now have 1.5 acres fully fenced! It is all very flat land making for an easy stroll with your dogs. We are boarded on two edges by farm fields and two edges by neighbors. There is a trail that circles the property, with plenty of space to explore. During the summer, please take advantage of the small kiddie pool. There are also toys and chairs in the fenced area for all guests. Some seasonal things to keep in mind: Spring/fall when we have heavy rain, some areas could have standing water and/or be muddy. Mid to late summer, there are fox tails (cheat grass) that can cling to your dogs. Winter, the trails might not be plowed. There will be a 5gal bucket in the wood shed (inside the fenced area) full of water you can use to refill the two water bowls. Keep an eye out for trip hazards! Logs, sticks, uneven ground and holes.

Ray's Private Dog Park In Edwall

Partially Fenced
50 acres

The 50 acres is mostly timber, with a 7 acre pond that has water in it most of the year. It will dry up on really hot years. I do have chickens and pack goats by the house. But they are inside mesh fencing, so your dogs won’t be able to get to them. The 50 acres is completely fenced with a 3 to 5 strand Barbwire fence. It’s in good shape. It is also the property boundary. So as long as you stay inside of the fence, you will be on the property. There are not a lot of neighbors but the ones I have are nice. When you come up the driveway, you can pass the house and drive up on the hill and Park at the conex container. There is lots of wildlife on the property, and I highly recommend that your dog has some sort of tick repellent, we do have ticks in the spring time. The upper part of the driveway is not graveled, so if there’s melting snow, or a lot of ran, it can get muddy. So be prepared for that. I hope you enjoy the property as much as we do. ***ALL PRICES LISTED ARE IN USD***

Trust the journey. Let your pup run wild (off-leash) through tall, waving grass, explore trails, or dive into the ponds (Gaia gives it five wet tail wags). This is a natural playground, not a manicured park, where paws get muddy and noses stay busy. My dog Gaia might greet you, she’s friendly, gentle, and loves having company. 55This spot is beyond a 5 star! Amazing piece of property. So many details around the pond and throughout trails- so stinkin beautiful!! We have reactive pups. We were greeted upon arrival by a herd of bunnies! Definitely need to be on long leash if your pup has poor recall. Later down the trail is a safety off leash area. When we reached the ending area we did off leash completely. Drinking water at trail end also. Our pups haven’t met a horse before so they rushed to the fence barking immediately. So we long leashed until he walked away. Appreciated all the bug spray along the trails. There are multiple areas unfenced but the woods are open & public. For reactives theres always a risk of meeting strangers but I felt it was unlikely . Wish we could have peeked at the farm bcz there was a huge goose patrol! This host is amazing!

55We really enjoyed this spot! Especially thankful for all the bug spray placed around the trail because, of course, we forgot ours. Very well maintained trails and plenty of places to sit. We only planned a short visit, but I’d love to come back for a longer visit and have a little picnic out here. We didn’t see any horses while we were here, but our dog appreciated the novel sniffs with the pasture nearby.

55Our new favorite sniff spot!! Easy to find, plenty of parking, trails clearly marked, tons of room to roam, sniff, swim and run. Towels were helpful for preliminary wipe down but definitely a bath at home required. Bringing friends and going again in a few days. Outstanding place.

55I loved all the shade! My dogs saw the horses. I think it was my puppies first time seeing them. They both didn't bark and listened to me when I said come. It was a fun place and will for sure come back even though it's forty minutes away from my house.

55Great spot, loved it!! Kept the dogs leashed because one can't be trusted yet, but plan on returning for off leash fun with just my pup. I would say grab a stick for spider webs depending on your height. I'm taller so I tend to find them anyway.

Frequently asked questions about Springdale dog hiking trails

Where can I find dog hiking trails in Springdale?

Springdale has 12 private dog hiking trails available through Sniffspot, offering natural exploration and varied terrain in completely private settings. These locations range from compact spaces to properties spanning 50+ acres. Whether you need a space for your reactive dog, puppy socialization, senior dog gentle exercise, or high-energy play, Springdale dog hiking trails provide safe, private environments. Filter for "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, or fencing types to find your perfect match.

How many dog hiking trails are in Springdale?

Springdale offers 12 dog hiking trails ranging from compact spaces to properties spanning acres. You'll find options such as dog field, fully fenced dog park, dog agility park, and more. Each Springdale dog hiking trail listing shows detailed photos, amenities, fencing specs, and reviews from local dog owners.

Are Springdale dog hiking trails good for all dog types?

Yes! Springdale dog hiking trails work for every dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer without large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space, and reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the environment they need. Browse Springdale's 12 options to find spaces matching your dog's specific temperament and needs.

Will I encounter other dogs at Springdale dog hiking trails?

Not a chance. Springdale dog hiking trails operate on a strict one-booking-at-a-time system, so the space is entirely yours during your reserved slot. Host dogs are kept away, and there's a mandatory 30-minute buffer between bookings—meaning you won't cross paths with the previous or next guest. For Springdale owners with reactive dogs, puppies, or any dog needing privacy, this makes all the difference in providing safe, stress-free exercise.

Are Springdale dog hiking trails safe for fearful or anxious dogs?

Yes! Springdale dog hiking trails provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers, anxious dogs can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment without overwhelming encounters. Many Springdale dog owners specifically choose dog hiking trails for fearful dogs who need gentle, stress-free exercise environments.

Can puppies use Springdale dog hiking trails?

Absolutely! Springdale dog hiking trails are excellent for puppy socialization because they're private and controlled. Puppies can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment, practice recall, and build confidence without the overwhelming chaos that can create fear or reactivity in young dogs. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting.

How do I choose the best dog hiking trail in Springdale?

Start by filtering Springdale's 12 dog hiking trails for your specific needs: secure fencing for escape artists, "fewer dogs seen/heard" for reactive dogs, flat terrain for seniors, appropriate sizing for small dogs, or specific amenities for training. Look for "Top Spots" like Springdale's The Doggy Dome with excellent reviews.Read feedback from other Springdale owners with similar dog types to find your perfect match.

What are Springdale's dog hiking trail requirements?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or titers. Each Springdale host may have additional rules on their listing. Most dog hiking trails welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit public dog parks. Adult supervision is required at all times.
