Area # 3 Goat Zone: This area is for our livestock of goats and pigs and the largest of the 3 spaces. It is where the barn is located. Livestock will be put away so that Dogos can zoom freely. This area can be accessed from the Garden area #2 or the main Gate. The front of the property is not fenced and dogs must be on leash to access that area.

We have 5 acres of land that is fully enclosed with a fence. Roughly 1.5 acres - 2 acres is cleared land, perfect for running and activity. The remainder is forested. We reside next to a nature preserve, so wild animal encounters can occur. We have seen bears, coyotes, and snakes. Most of these occur in the morning time. The fence up front has some larger holes that a small dog could get through, but this is far away from the primary area located in the back. There are plants toxic to dogs around the house, so it is probably best to remain in the open areas.
