At Summit Ridge Canine Retreat, there’s something to satisfy your dog’s need to stimulate their natural curiosity and bring them home tired…the humans too! Included in your booking, you and your pup(s) will have all three different areas to engage their noses in different sensory experiences while on our 2.5 acre fully fenced property. Whether it’s our indoor arena, the “Dog Den” is suitable for small to medium sized dogs to play. The indoor arena is heated, during the cold rainy season and also air conditioned during the hot summer months. The indoor arena is also great for having a Birthday or Gotcha “Pawty”. The arena can be fully enclosed for those rainy days or open the slider into the fully fenced 1/4 acre grass dog Zoomy Pen🐶 The fully enclosed grass “Zoomie Pen”is perfect for zoomie time, puppies and dogs in training, some toy fun, or for dogs without good recall. Just outside the Zoomy Pen is our large play field giving lots of room for Chuckit tossing☄️parkour on the logs or some nose work fun and mind stimulation. We have a barn for indoor training, lots of toys, chuck-it station...as well as 2 grassy acres of running space for your pups! We are also curently modifying the 60x80 sandy horse arena to use for obedience/agility training. We have reactive dogs ourselves so we understand those that need a PRIVATE space to exercise their dogs. Our 3 dogs will be inside during your playtime, please try to keep dogs off front porch to eliminate ours barking and distracting your pups fun day. Dogs are curious, almost ALL of them explore the front porch… please don’t stress over this (we’re not), we just ask to redirect so our dogs don’t distract yours with barking.

Come rain or shine, and play or train, in or out. We have covered parking for you, 800 square feet of covered, protected, and padded play area in our pole barn, and 1200 square feet (0.3 acres) of fully fenced and shaded outdoor play connected to the barn. The SniffSpot is very private and removed from the house. All areas have lights so you can safely play late afternoons during the winter. Our secluded property is at the end of the road, yet close to town and just off the freeway. We provide toys for you to use while here, for large and small dogs, and for dogs with disabilities.
