For the humans we have a picnic table and chairs for relaxation. The bungee cords on the gate are to help secure it, feel free to use them if you feel the need. NOTE: Please bring your own water, as we don’t have a water spigot out back. Special note for June and July: it’s mulberry season, and boy have we got ‘em (fortunately they are not toxic to dogs). For Your First Visit: It is a good idea to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter until you are comfortable. Although it is fenced, it is not possible to know every dog’s individual behavior. The tornado siren goes off every first Saturday of the month at 1:00. No joy. I am often available if needed for questions or help. We welcome suggestions! Enjoy! We offer our 18 acres fenced in area. We specialize in reactive and fearful dogs. We understand the challenges of having a dog that is scared and how important is to have a place in which you can relax and enjoy him/her/them instead of being hypervigilant looking for triggers 24/7. And moreover, we want your dog(s) to have a place in which he/she/they can be happy and have fun instead of being constantly looking for triggers and feel stressed out. Here you will see no triggers (but a chicken or turkey here and there, which would probably add to the enrichment experience) We hope you can relax and enjoy playing with your dog and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. As extras, your dog(s) will still be able to smell different animals like deer, turkey, squirrels, snakes, frogs, and also play in our small agility area. You will not have to see any dogs while being here, no worries we have you cover.
