You’ve found it! If your dog is happiest in the water, we are here for you! We are a haven for dogs with Strong Opinions about things! 🤗 Doesn’t love people? Come on over! Hates other pets? That’s cool! Lives to chase squirrels and moles? We’re overrun, you do you! We are blessed with 19 gorgeous acres of ♿️ HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE pasture, ancient live oak hammocks, and trails surrounding 3 ponds and a creek leading to a cypress swamp. It’s Old Florida at its very BEST. Canter Woods is on the corner of two dead-end dirt roads with barely any traffic. We are now FULLY FENCED so your dog can safely work out every ounce of excess energy! Seating and picnic tables are provided throughout the property, and there is plenty of natural shade. We have a private road that runs all around the inside of the fence, so if your dog likes to run alongside you while you pedal, go ahead and bring your bicycle! The road/trail is almost completely shaded, so even on the hottest of days, it’s quite pleasant. One of our trails, which fully accommodates any vehicle, leads directly to our main seating area adjacent to not one but two ponds. Guests who use a wheelchair, crutches, or a walker can make it from their vehicle to a sturdy chair or lounger in just 6-8 feet ♿️ If you would like access to this parking spot, simply arrange with us. Our shallow swimming ponds are fed nonstop by a deep artesian well. We also have plenty of wildlife—depending on how rambunctious your dog might be, you may see otters, soft shelled turtles, tortoises, wood ducks, raccoons, armadillos, rabbits, and squirrels. We also have a plentiful supply of water birds—herons, egrets, and more. We are a Certified Wildlife Habitat™️! 🍃🌱🌿🪵🐇 We have horses on the premises in paddocks, and they’re tolerant of dogs and their mischief and love ♥️ our SniffSpot dog guests. Hopefully your dog is tolerant of these large mysterious creatures and doesn’t harass them! If you think your dog might be aggressive with the horses and get over or under their sturdy 4-foot paddock fence, please use a leash when in proximity of the barn and paddock! Do note that our horses are ridden and worked often, so there’s always the possibility that you will encounter “evidence” of a horse having passed there before you 😉 As we say around here, that’s farm life for ya! If that kind of thing bothers you, this probably isn’t the right spot for you. We are not manicured lawn—we are a farm and woods and a certified wildlife habitat. Note that we do have some predator animals such as hawks, owls, and the occasional bobcat, so this area is best suited for dogs over about 15 pounds. We keep our 4-lb chihuahua mostly inside, since we moved here. Parking is near the main entrance gate, close to the barn, and you are invited to start off your visit on the trails, following Bambi’s Run at the main entrance. Poop bags, maps, and a trash can are located on a pine tree at the parking area and near the horse paddock. ✨ PLEASE NOTE: We are specifically requesting that you do NOT come to our farm to “check us out” WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Please respect that Canter Woods is also our home, and we are closed to anyone who doesn’t have an appointment. For our security and the safety of our guests and their dogs, we have surveillance cameras in use at all our entrances. MEMBERS-ONLY HOURS: We reserve before-work 7:30-10:30 am, Saturday mornings until noon, and all day on Sundays for dog lovers who have chosen to be members. Members also get a lower rate that’s never subject to a price increase + free use of our wash rack and dog shampoo! (a big bonus for the big dogs in our lives!) I’m a horse boarding facility on 12 acres fenced and crossed fence with 1/2 acre pond. Horses are in the barn during the day. Pastures are cleaned daily. Fresh clean water provide. Sitting area under shade.. Will have obstacles next week

Let your dog have a farm day! Strictly supervised exposure to farm animals, access to pasture, ponds, and miles of trails. Come back to the barn and help yourself to the washrack, bathroom, and cold drinking water.

We are a dog training facility established in 2005. Enjoy 1 1/2 acre of fenced, open area for running, walking and sniffs! There is covered area of sand. Lights are available for evening frolicking. More adjustments and improvements to come! Agility equipment is *by permission only* please. We teach agility classes here.

2+ acres to let your dog run and play. Bring ball to throw, plenty of room!! After rain there is water in yard for splashing through. Pool is available for you to swim with your dog. Hose to rinse your dog off before entering pool( if dirty) or after running in mud. Seating area for you around pool and on patio out of sun if needed. Please do not allow pets on furniture. Bring towels if needed. Have fun!!

For your convenience: *dog toys * towels (please ask us if there are no towels in the bins or they got wet). * first aid kit * dog bowl * hand sanitizer * poop bags * dog swimming vest * drinking water (5 gallon jog) * large bowl of ice (available upon request when host is on site) * restroom (available at the barn, please note that you might encounter people if you walk in the barn) NOTE: there are no people/dogs at the sniff spot but you can encounter people while walking through the property to access the spot. If your dog is human reactive please contact us before booking as on weekends mornings and M-F after 5 there might be people on the property (there are never people at the sniff spot, but sniff spot is part of 26 acres property and there might be people at the other parts of the property). Please keep in mind, there is a resident dog on site, Labrador Big Max, therefore it is crucial that you arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment, so Big Max is inside and does not come to greet you. There is lots of space to park, please don’t drive on the lawn, it is a short walk from parking to the spot entrance. Thank you for understanding. Hi, welcome. Several trees and bushes. Gate to enter is on the left side of the house when facing the house. I purchased my home 21 years ago because I needed a fenced in backyard for my very large dog. Unfortunately he passed away many years ago, but your pups get to enjoy it now :). Also a good spot if you have work to do on your laptop, you are welcome to use the wifi while your pup/pups stretch their legs. It's nothing fancy, but the attached porch with a ceiling fan has 2 old chairs and a large jacuzzi deck you can place a laptop. Also, you don't have to take the bag out of the wastebasket with you. It's just as easy for me to take care of it when I clean up.

I am currently a pup boarding home, so my yard is set up for you and your pups to come and enjoy. Off road parking, quiet neighborhood and best of all your pup has an acre to run free in while you relax in a hammock.

Humans must pay an extra $10 charge to swim in the pool and NO DIVING is allowed. The fee is accessible under “EXTRAS”. There are external security cameras on the property. You are required to follow pre and post stay rules which are sent 2 hours prior. Please note: double/long/shedding breeds will need to be brushed/raked prior to arrival. This helps keep the pool clean and everything Please read everything carefully to make sure this is a good match for you and your dog. Enjoy!

Welcome to Sweet N Sour Farm. Our family of 7 are all animal lovers & we look forward to meeting you. The play area is a fully fenced paddock with enough free space to tire out even the most high energy pup. Property is perimeter fenced as well. All areas have individual fencing for safety, in case of escape artist. Peaceful, quiet spot with beautiful sunrise/sunset views. Many wild birds around during the day. Peaceful view of the pond and our farm animals. Enjoy open area playtime with your furbaby or sit and enjoy the surroundings while they play. Gated entrance and gated parking, no safety concern for your vehicle or belongings.

Beautiful 1 acre spot with lots of shade from the royal poinciana tree . Covered area as well to give some well needed shade when desired. Sink with hose as well to make sure always plenty of fresh water. Lots of room to run around , chase squirrels , rabbits , etc. Simple rules of prefer no heavy digging . Dogs are not permitted to use pool, but more then welcome to turn on sprinkler and have them have fun. Bathing is allowed as well using the hose. Your dog will love it here as do my dogs.
