55Exceptional views and animals. We loved seeing the kids run like the wind. Got to meet some horses too! I recommend bringing water (for you!) and renting a couple of hours to see the whole landscape. I also got to meet Megan who was very kind and patient with us and our questions. This spot was so much fun, genuinely such a fun new place for my dogs. It was easy to find and had so many fun things to see and sniff. The host was so kind and welcoming. The area was completely fenced in. The entrance has a nice shaded spot and a big thing of water for the dogs to cool off. We'll definitely come back sometime.

55This sniffspot is really wonderful. It’s on a quiet road in a beautiful country setting. The acreage varied. The front section is pasture, good for throwing balls, and there is a small woodland area in the back with a walking trail. Janet has provided some agility equipment, which was fun, and other toys. My lab liked going through the big culvert and also loved the water trough. The back fence line is not secure and there is a lot of livestock in the neighborhood so dogs need to be able to respect the boundary. I really enjoyed my time here and recommend it. Myrnie D.

55Janet provides plenty of info about the property. Visited at end of summer, so there were burrs and prickly grasses, but easy enough to walk with hiking boots. Lots of smells for a hound. Water in metal trough is clean. Dog toys in a bin at entrance, and people games located in a bin on a picnic table. Goats visible in adjacent field. Look for the small "sniffspot" sign in yard. The dogs loved exploring all 7 acres, field, trees, mole holes, water trough, big tunnel! The odor of the pennyroyal growing throughout the property was delightful. Great place to practice stays and long distance recalls. It did take a few minutes to comb out burrs and towel off the water before we got back in the car, but I expected that and came prepared. 55Janet has a beautiful piece of land. My dog and I enjoyed our visit very much. It was quite a hot summer day but there is a good amount of shade from the trees and fresh water. I particularly liked this spot because there is no road visible from the Sniffspot which is more relaxing than other places I’ve been to. Towards the end my dog got deep into a spot with some sticky plants and it got stuck on his legs, head and and chest. I gave him a bath when we got home. 55We’ll definitely be back to this spacious and well maintained property. We loved the beautiful pasture full of grasses and wildflowers. Trees provided shade in areas and there was plenty of space to play, practice recall, and smell so many things. The water in the cattle trough was clean and fresh and there were toys, poop bags and a receptacle, chairs to sit in, and in the middle of the field there was a picnic table with games for humans. It smelled minty and amazing because of the wild growing pennyroyal. The only downside is that there are some sticky grass seeds and burrs and stuff to pick off the dog now, but she is so tired out that she probably won’t complain! And I didn’t see a single foxtail. I was hesitant to go until she got the fence completely fixed but decided to take my dog and keep him on a long lead if necessary. The fence is not an issue unless you have a really crazy dog that’s going to run and leap 3 foot barbed wire. But even if that’s what your dog might do, you can stay completely away from that area and have plenty of exercise space and a good time.
The freshwater and the water trough welcoming the dog to get in is such a nice touch on these hot summer days. She has chairs for the peeps and it’s a very easy to find an accessible location. I will be back!! 😁Terri O.
