Frank's Place - 5 Acres of Play Space

Fully Fenced
5 acres

Welcome to our private, fully fenced 5-acre Sniffspot on Frank Road, designed for safe off-leash play and relaxed exploring. This is a quiet, secure space where dogs can run freely, sniff to their hearts’ content, and enjoy real outdoor enrichment without the stress of public dog parks. Many guests find it ideal for reactive dogs, shy dogs, high-energy dogs, or dogs that simply love having room to roam. The property includes a mix of open running areas and natural tree-lined spaces, giving dogs variety while owners enjoy mountain views, peaceful surroundings, and benches for resting. The entire area is fully fenced so you can relax while your dog explores. You’ll find poop bags and a trash bucket provided, and there is plenty of space to wander at your own pace. My own dogs are small dachshunds, so I pay attention to secure fencing and safe access for small dogs as well as large dogs. If this is your first visit, take a moment to browse the photos to see the layout and features, and read the reviews to hear what other visitors and their dogs enjoy most. When you're ready, choose a time and book a visit — we’d love to host you.

Ruff 'n Rugged 40 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Calhan

Unfenced
40 acres

Ruff 'n Rugged's 40 acre dog park is perfect for high drive, high energy dogs. This is a great location to work on your off leash training. It has a neatly mowed area of approximately 2 acres, a mowed, well marked trail which is about 1/2 mile long, with the remainder of the area in native grasses and vegetation. On any visit you may see cottontail rabbits, jack rabbits, pronghorn antelope and other wildlife native to this area. The parking area is a good distance from the entrance so you can unload and load your dogs safely without having to worry about traffic. We have a great view of Pikes Peak, well away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Quiet, peaceful & relaxing. You will enjoy your visit just as much as your dogs.

Frequently asked questions about Yoder dog hiking trails

What types of dog hiking trails are available in Yoder?

Yoder has 4 dog hiking trails with diverse features: woods, hiking trail and scenic views. Whether you need a fully-fenced space for poor recall, a quiet location for a reactive dog, appropriate sizing for small breeds, gentle terrain for seniors, or specific amenities like water features or agility equipment, you'll find options in Yoder. Filter by fencing, size, distractions, and amenities to match your needs.

When can I book dog hiking trails in Yoder?

Yoder dog hiking trails are available based on host scheduling—many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for you. Check individual Yoder listings for specific availability. Flexible scheduling is especially helpful for dogs with specific needs: reactive dogs who do better during quieter times, working dog owners needing early/late slots, or seniors needing cooler morning hours.

How do I book a dog hiking trail in Yoder?

Browse 4 available dog hiking trails in Yoder, select your preferred date and time, and reserve through Sniffspot. Most Yoder locations offer instant booking. You'll receive confirmation, exact address, and entry instructions. The booking process takes just minutes—perfect when your dog needs exercise, whether that's a reactive dog requiring safe space, a puppy needing socialization, or an energetic dog burning off steam.

What's the most popular dog hiking trail in Yoder?

Frank's Place - 5 Acres of Play Space is highly rated among Yoder dog hiking trails, known for excellent amenities and positive reviews. However, the "best" spot depends on your dog's needs—reactive dogs might prioritize privacy and quiet, puppies might need secure fencing, seniors might want flat terrain, while active dogs might want maximum running space. Browse Yoder listings to find your ideal match.

Can I use Yoder dog hiking trails for training sessions?

Yes! Yoder dog hiking trails are perfect for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice trail recall in natural environments, leash manners on varied terrain, or hiking endurance building, help reactive dogs build confidence, socialize puppies, or work on obedience—all without public dog park unpredictability. Many Yoder professional trainers use these spaces for client sessions with all types of dogs.

Do Yoder dog hiking trails accommodate multiple dogs?

Most Yoder dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings for specifics). If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward strange dogs or if you have mixed ages (puppies and seniors)—private dog hiking trails let them play together safely without outside interference or triggers.

What amenities do Yoder dog hiking trails offer?

Yoder dog hiking trails feature amenities like woods, hiking trail and scenic views. Many hosts provide extras: poop bags, water stations, toys, shaded seating, parking, even dog wash stations. Each Yoder listing clearly shows what's available. Look for amenities matching your dog's needs: shade for heat-sensitive breeds, water for swimmers, agility for active dogs, or privacy features for anxious pets.

Are Yoder dog hiking trails available year-round?

Many Yoder hosts maintain their dog hiking trails throughout all seasons. Filter for covered or climate-controlled options if weather matters. Indoor dog hiking trails provide year-round access regardless of Yoder weather conditions. Check individual listings for seasonal availability and policies.
