The Douglas Fir Memorial Dog Park is located on a private back yard conveniently located right off of Route 305 and i86 in Cuba, NY. Amenities include: - .14 mile loop mowed walking path - Comfortable seating area and picnic table available for human use - Tons of enrichment for dogs to sniff, climb on and explore - Water and dog toys available to use *PLEASE NOTE* - The field is visible to our neighbors, please be respectful of their privacy and their property. Please do not allow your dog to interfere with their peaceful enjoyment of their back yards. - Please remove all trash, personal items and pet items you bring in with you, take nothing out with you (including flowers, nature, dog toys etc). - Pick up all pet waste left on pathways and areas where someone may step on it. I do have a small female German Shepherd but she loves all animals. She has brought home baby deer before. Saved one once from being killed by a weasel.

Hello welcome…. As u pull up, our-house is set far back, park to the left of the driveway in the little parking area. Follow the line of stick fencing to the tree line out back (there’s signs) (walk past my house and immediate “backyard”) We have a little over 4 acres with most of it being wooded trails in the back. There’s a field out back as well that can be used at different times for running without tree interference. We also have a small “dog” pond we dug for our crew. When it’s filled the center is about 8ft deep. Our dogs usually just walk the otter edge or walk in a little but don’t actually swim in it. If your dog is a swimmer by all means feel free. The edge was dug to be a walk in with a drop off. FYI We don’t treat the water or anything either so use it to your discretion. I try to NOT let mine drink out of it but sometimes it’s inevitable. So feel free to ask about the pond conditions prior to coming if that’s a reason for choosing us. We want your pup to be safe.

We have five acres on mostly wooded land that we’d love to share with your dog/s! Behind the house there is a large mowed lawn/hill that leads to a pond that’s perfect for chasing frogs and swimming. Behind the pond are trails and bridges through the woods. There are chairs for people at various places around the property and a hose by the driveway to wash off muddy pups. There is no bathroom for people but the town of franklinville is ten minutes away and there’s a great coffee shop there to stop of the way to or from the property.
