55We had a wonderful experience at Shelby’s Sniffspot! It was the perfect place to work with our dog on off-leash recall in a safe, peaceful environment. The wooded trails gave him plenty of opportunities to explore, sniff all the wildlife scents, and build confidence. He also loved getting some exposure to the water, which was a great training opportunity.
We did come across one couple during our visit, but it actually turned into another excellent chance to practice recall in a real-world situation. Overall, we had an amazing time and left with a happy, tired dog.
This Sniffspot is absolutely worth the trip, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, enriching place to train, exercise, and enjoy nature with their dog!Jennifer D.

55We had a wonderful time exploring for our first visit! Our our has never actually had a trail walk before, or had the chance to run in a large creek so he was having the time of his life. We will definitely be grabbing a retractable leash so he can go in the water further than I do. 😂 Oh, your cow is super sweet too. ❤️Lisa A.

55My Samoyed puppy absolutely loved this spot! It was his very first encounter with water, and the creek made it such a fun and safe experience. The property itself is beautiful - spacious 10.5 acres with great, walkable trails that lead right down to the water. Along the way, we even spotted a blue heron (still not sure what kind of bird that is, but it was amazing to see!) and met a super friendly cow who made the visit even more memorable.
Everything felt peaceful, scenic, and well cared for. We’ll definitely be back! 🐾💦🐕

55Had to cut our visit a bit short because my dog got stung by a bee (completely his fault, he refuses to leave them alone), so we didn't get to fully explore. It's a beautiful spot, though, and we even got to see an eagle flying around. I echo another commenter - the trails are narrow, so if your dog is super reactive, I'd recommend keeping them on a shorter lead until you get down to the water, in case someone else with a nearby home is out for a walk with their dog. It's a beautiful spot, tough to believe it exists so close to the city. Laura M.

55Such an amazing place! There were so many little trails that my pup enjoyed exploring. He also had so much fun in the creek! We didn't see any other dogs or people but the host did let us know that we may. If your dog is very reactive, the trails are not super wide so would be a hard place to make space. Host was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely be back! Ashley S.

55It's a beautiful spot to walk. Make sure you have sneakers as the rocks by the river can get you. Bug spray also would be a smart choice.
We loved it, unfortunately, my pup is NOT a water dog, and wanted to run through the woods to chase whatever animals were scampering about. 100% would recommend for dogs and owners who enjoy nature hikes!!Alex C.

55The property is as described, with paths in the woods and a running stream with some shallow little bends. The dogs had a fabulous time. It felt safe enough. I did it see any other dogs or people. If you are looking for real woods and sylvan serenity you might find the nearby bridge and roads distracting, but for within 30 minutes of Philadelphia I thought this was great. Jo B.

55The area down at the water is great! It's deep enough in some spots for a medium sized dog to swim a bit. Wiggle definitely enjoyed herself on that hot day🐾Alice W.

55Fun spot, amazing to have it so close to home! Would only recommend it for dogs with excellent recall: trails go past other people’s backyards, and toward the end our dog spotted and went to chase a deer (no issues because we can recall). Overall, a beautiful day in the sunshine and had our girl smiling from floppy ear to ear Julia M.

55This was a great place to bring my dogs to let them walk around trails off leash and swim in the water. A note to anyone who has reactive dogs or dogs that don’t have good recall, the property is not fenced in and people can enter the trail from many access points so even though you are technically the only one booked, other people/dogs from the neighborhood could show up. This didn’t happen while we were there but it’s a possibility. Courtney G.
