The Layout & Safety Details Acreage: 5 full acres of natural, rustic field. Fencing: UNFENCED. This spot is wide open. It is ideal for working breeds, dogs with highly reliable recall, or handlers utilizing training lines. Terrain: Natural, unmowed country field with a mowed walking loop. Please wear sturdy outdoor footwear! Because it is a natural area, we highly recommend up-to-date tick prevention for your pups. Privacy & Homestead Disclosures Total Isolation During Bookings: Your reservation is 100% private. We promise that the 5-acre field will be entirely free of other people and animals for the duration of your visit. Arrival Visibility: Because this is an active homestead, there is a chance you may briefly see us outside taking care of property chores when you first pull into the driveway. However, we will head inside or stay completely clear of the field once you arrive so you can enjoy total privacy. Acoustics: While we have no close or visible neighbors, sound can carry in the country, and you may occasionally hear a neighborhood dog barking in the far distance. Enjoy a beautiful walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. As summer turns to fall there are a lot fewer bugs and beautiful color changes. Some trees are changing already. Please stay on the cleared paths on the West side and South portion of the property due to work being done on other sections. There are wooden arrow signs that help you navigate to the back of the property and back to the parking area. Thank you. We have a fully fenced in yard in the Village Oaks subdivision! Come bring your dogs to have some fun while your kids are at school or have them all come play after school. For pups, we have lots of grassy area to run and play. They’re welcome to hop on our kids’ play set and ride down the slide, as our beloved dog did. We also added a trampoline this summer and a ninja warrior set for kids (and adults!) to play on. Two big trees provide plenty of shade for you and your pup.
