For Your First Visit: It is a good idea to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter until you are comfortable. Although it is fenced, it is not possible to know every dog’s individual behavior. The tornado siren goes off every first Saturday of the month at 1:00. No joy. I am often available if needed for questions or help. We welcome suggestions! Enjoy! Winter: This Sniffspot will be open all winter. ***The snow isn’t always plowed immediately. We do our best. You may have to walk from the road (if the city also has plowed). Use your discretion. Upon arrival, you’ll find a designated parking spot and a peaceful trail that winds around the back of the property to the park entrance. Along the way, you’ll pass our duck enclosure and pond—feel free to stop and say hi! If you'd like to feed the ducks, they love shredded lettuce or diced cucumbers (please, no bread). At the end of the trail, you’ll find a double-gated entry with a separate area for leashing and unleashing your dog safely. Inside, your pup will have the freedom to explore about a quarter-acre of fenced-in space, featuring fun enrichment structures like a dog bridge and stacked hay bales for climbing, sniffing, and playing. This space is ideal for dogs who prefer a quiet environment without the stress of other dogs nearby. While our fence is 4 feet high and the area is smaller than some, it’s a great spot for dogs who just need a safe, fun place to burn off energy and enjoy nature. A garden hose and dog towels for clean-up. For our two-legged guests, we have a beautiful, spacious sun or shade back deck with ample seating, ample seating amongst the property in the shaded grass, Wi-Fi and chilled bottles of water.

A Field with Milkweed and lots of butterfly's Iin the sumner and beautiful snows in the winter. .There is plenty of shade and places to cool off, including use of hose to fill pool. Would like to fill only 1/4 oif the way then empty when finished. I will put a fla by the faucet for hose. HOSE NEEDS TO BE TURNED OFF when done filling pool VERY IMPORTANT. Please do not allow off leashe dogs to approach my kennels. Training will be in process with other dogs in building. Property is also groomed against ticks , mosquitoes, or other pests. I run a training/boarding facility for dogs so we have a person that works with MSU for safe and effective treatment for ticks, bugs, fleas or other common nuisances in our region. Your dogs safety is our priority.

SO EXCITED!! 🎃 👻 🥳 First park in the sniffer parking area, always themed every month for a good photo-op, enter through the wooden gates and enter two acres of fenced in dense woods, at entrance there are supplies and maps, continue along any trail and it will take you to three main clearings and ultimately to the trailhead. Dogs MUST absolutely no question be leashed on our walking trails. Follow trail markers and side quest suggestions ✨ We are new to sniff spot and so please leave us feedback at the entrance! The ponds on the property are man-made and very shallow and mucky… If your dog is a pond jumper, just beware! ⚠️🤣🐾 Feel free to stop in the clubhouse and grab a pop or a cocktail to take on your walk… Definitely bring a leash as the property is not fenced in.
