Enli Farm in Catawba

Fully Fenced
2 acres

Open field for your dog to run. NOTE: CELL SERVICE is unreliable, texting a bit better. GPS is unreliable as well. Before your first visit, you should get an auto-message 2 hours before your reservation with turn by turn directions. Now on to the good info. The primary area is about 1 1/2 acres. I use it for dog sports such as Toss and Fetch (disc). It is ideal for throwing a ball, a disc, or just letting your dog run. There is a shed in this area that has chairs, toys, etc. for guests. There is an agility field, available by special permission only, for those with prior agility experience. See extras.

Frequently asked questions about Blacksburg dog agility parks

Where can I find dog agility parks in Blacksburg?

Blacksburg has 8 private dog agility parks available through Sniffspot, offering agility training and mental stimulation in completely private settings. These locations range from compact spaces to properties spanning 2.31+ acres. Whether you need a space for your reactive dog, puppy socialization, senior dog gentle exercise, or high-energy play, Blacksburg dog agility parks provide safe, private environments. Filter for "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, or fencing types to find your perfect match.

How many dog agility parks are in Blacksburg?

Blacksburg offers 8 dog agility parks ranging from compact spaces to properties spanning acres. You'll find diverse options: fully-fenced for escape artists, indoor climate-controlled for year-round use, swimming pools for hot days, agility courses for training, and more. Each Blacksburg dog agility park listing shows detailed photos, amenities, fencing specs, and reviews from local dog owners.

Are Blacksburg dog agility parks good for all dog types?

Yes! Blacksburg dog agility parks work for every dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer without large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space, and reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the environment they need. Browse Blacksburg's 8 options to find spaces matching your dog's specific temperament and needs.

Will I encounter other dogs at Blacksburg dog agility parks?

Not a chance. Blacksburg dog agility parks operate on a strict one-booking-at-a-time system, so the space is entirely yours during your reserved slot. Host dogs are kept away, and there's a mandatory 30-minute buffer between bookings—meaning you won't cross paths with the previous or next guest. For Blacksburg owners with reactive dogs, puppies, or any dog needing privacy, this makes all the difference in providing safe, stress-free exercise.

Are Blacksburg dog agility parks safe for fearful or anxious dogs?

Yes! Blacksburg dog agility parks provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers, anxious dogs can explore a space equipped with obstacles like tunnels, jumps, and weave poles for agility training without overwhelming encounters. Many Blacksburg dog owners specifically choose dog agility parks for fearful dogs who need gentle, stress-free exercise environments.

Can puppies use Blacksburg dog agility parks?

Absolutely! Blacksburg dog agility parks are excellent for puppy socialization because they're private and controlled. Puppies can explore a space equipped with obstacles like tunnels, jumps, and weave poles for agility training, practice recall, and build confidence without the overwhelming chaos that can create fear or reactivity in young dogs. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting.

How do I choose the best dog agility park in Blacksburg?

Start by filtering Blacksburg's 8 dog agility parks for your specific needs: secure fencing for escape artists, "fewer dogs seen/heard" for reactive dogs, flat terrain for seniors, appropriate sizing for small dogs, or specific amenities for training. Look for "Top Spots" like Blacksburg's Enli Farm in Catawba with excellent reviews.Read feedback from other Blacksburg owners with similar dog types to find your perfect match.

What are Blacksburg's dog agility park requirements?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or titers. Each Blacksburg host may have additional rules on their listing. Most dog agility parks welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit public dog parks. Adult supervision is required at all times.
