He offers a 25 yard leash you can use when your dog is swimming if you are worried about their recall in the water. Swimming is at the discretion of the owner/booker, and we have no ability to control lake conditions. We have somewhere between a third to a half acre in our backyard, fully enclosed with a 5 to 7-ft wood fence. We have shady spots, but there also aren't too many trees, so there is plenty of room to play fetch and run around. Amenities include a dog jump, a small dog tunnel, and furniture on the lower deck for you to sit down. There usually are a number of my dog's toys laying around (frisbees, balls, and ropes), which you are free to use while you are here. Please leave them in the yard on your way out though. We've had quite a bit of our stuff disappear over the years.

Our space offers fun for dogs of all ages! We have lots of items to desensitize your pup and allow them to explore in a safe place (swing set, jungle gym, table, chairs) Warm month mornings are typically full sun, while afternoons offer partial shaded areas to cool off after a long day. Other amenities include table with umbrella and chairs, dog toys, shaded dog shack, pooper scooper, poop bags, water bowl, water hose, small dog pool, and agility equipment. We don’t typically use pesticides because we don’t want to harm pollinators, so we offer bug sprays and personal repellents. Our yard is backed up to a wooded area, so it’s frequented by an array at wildlife at times. You likely won’t see them during your visit, but we have seen squirrels, birds, rabbits, deer, frogs, groundhog, and a fox/bats at night (while yard is empty).

Welcome to Max’s Place 😊 We recently lost our big baby, Max, and his mother, Diamond, two years before that. When house hunting, I made sure to buy a house with a nice size yard for our dogs. Now that they are no longer here, we’d like to invite others to enjoy the freedom to run around. Max’s Place is completely fenced. We offer the use of a small agility set, a lounging area for both dogs and their humans, toys and balls. We will provide bottled water for all. There is a hose hookup in the back for use (splashing, bathing, drinking) for an additional charge. Once the weather warms up we’ll also have a splash pool available at an additional charge. Our property backs to Motts Run. Yard is fenced. We do have chickens and cats but they are contained. The play area is on turf but please note a large portion of the yard is not and can be muddy in winter.
