Hike up the mini forest

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may unleash your doggies right after the bridge and chain the gate if you want. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use, enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! *If you want to save a little bit of moolah, I offer membership. Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. If you are a member of my sniffspot, or have older dog/s and would like to drive below or up the hill to park so the fur buddy don't get exhausted, message me.* Some of you have asked about the cabins. Sniffspot is unavailable if Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (www.hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. Check it out by copying and pasting link below to browser or search listing through the hipcamp site. https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/land/washington-grace-e-s-mini-forest-ex9hrrp8?shareid=1ddvuyvr3yh Anyway, hope you too will enjoy your little hike up our mini forest..

You Can Borrow My Yard in Snohomish

Although we welcome dogs of all sizes, we believe our space is the perfect size for small to medium dogs. No other dogs will be in the yard or in sight during your time here. However, you may occasionally hear the English Bulldog that lives next door. We have an aquatic turtle in a small pond in the corner of the yard. We do have that area behind a little fence. We are happy to bring the turtle inside if you ask us before your visit. We have synthetic pet turf, which is more sanitary, and keeps your dog mud and dirt-free. It also eliminates most bugs, pests, and the need for pesticides or chemicals. Plus, the dogs love rolling and playing on it! We provide dog toys, puzzle games, a ball pit, tunnel, tether tug, two kiddie pools, agility equipment, a fresh-water station, and a dog waste station. (bags included) We have a strawberry patch that runs the length of the yard, up on a small retaining wall. Please know that it is OK for your dog to go up there, run through there, and pick the strawberries if there are any. We do not harvest the berries for ourselves, and all of the dogs seem to like exploring that area. Please feel free to park in the empty spot in the driveway, or on the street in front of the house. You may enter and exit through either of our gates on each side of the house. The gate on the left side of the house is wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions or concerns, please text me at (425) 249-6171. Located less than two minutes from Willis Tucker Park, you might want to make it an outing and take advantage of the park's amenities after your dog's private time here. The park has a children's play area, picnic spots, baseball fields, trails, open fields, and their own on and off-leash dog areas. We hope you enjoy our space, and we are happy to share it with you and your dog! Tanya

Private Indoor Fully Matted Dog Training Room - Annex Jumps, Weave Poles

***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD** Stay out of the rain or sun in our indoor private training room at Tug Dog Training and Coaching. This is a private 50x50 fully matted (Dog agility mats) room separate from our main training hall with its own entrance. This room also has training mirrors on 2 walls which some dogs may notice, and dog trainers will appreciate! This is a large space suitable to film virtual title submissions, work on various training skills, or just have a great time playing with your dog indoors! The parking lot is shared with our main training hall, so there is a chance there may be people and/or dogs in the parking lot during your booked time. If there are classes going on next door, you may hear people talking or dogs barking from the other room. Sessions booked during the day have the least chance of seeing people or dogs in the parking lot. Some agility equipment is available (jumps, tip boards, small teeter, ladder, weave poles). You are welcome to bring your own training equipment provided it is clean and not damaging to the flooring. Rally equipment seen in the cover photo is not provided. This room stays cooler in the summer and fans are available. There is also a tap for fresh water for the dogs. Wifi password is on the information board. We would prefer to meet you on your first visit to help you get oriented with the location so you can have the best time with your pup! ***Here are our current group class scheduled times where you will likely see people and/or dogs walking in our parking lot Monday: 5:30-7:30pm Tuesday: 2-9pm Wednesday: 5-8pm Thursday: 11-2pm, 5-9pm Friday: 12-1pm, 6-9pm Private clients may be scheduled in times outside of these hours. Booking outside of these hours does not guarantee there will not be others in our parking lot at this time. Regardless of the time you book, you will be guaranteed a separate entrance from our main hall and a completely private training room for your session. Feel free to message with any questions :)

Our pup definitely got the zoomies at this spot! Shady and sunny areas, and plenty of space to run around. There was also frolf set up at the spot. We didn’t see any other dogs or meet the host (I requested not to, as our pup is nervous around strangers). Toward the end of our visit a neighbor’s dog across the street did start barking, so just a heads up if your dog is reactive to barking dogs. We will definitely be back!

Chose here for our first Sniffspot for our puppy! He really enjoyed it! It’s the perfect size where it’s not too big to worry about having to run after him, but also a good enough size for him to run around and enjoy himself. The grass was cut nicely around the edges and the longer grass wasn’t too long/wasn’t an issue. He actually really enjoyed those areas. The spot had lots of things to use, a hose, water bowl, scooper, and even a sample of freeze dried salmon which is our puppies favorite treat! Really enjoyed it here and will definitely be back!

This was the first sniffspot I ever visited, and today I went back again and it did not disappoint. My doggie and I had so much fun running around in the trees, grass, by the stumps, and playing with a rope toy that they had. I would 100% recommend this to everyone. However, if your doggo doesn’t have the best recall and likes to get muddy, I would watch for the sides of the yard where there is lots and lots of mud!

Excellent spot for my nervous dog Bobby! The tall grass and trees helped him feel extra comfortable (big mowed fields aren't his favorite since there's nowhere to hide). He had a nice time sniffing the plants and patrolling the perimeter. We will be back often! Lorraine was a great host and sent detailed information and directions ahead of time. The spot was serene and had plenty of seating options. Thank you!

This Sniffspot is incredibly beautiful. The beautifully fenced flower gardens inside the totally fenced SniffSpot area is paradise for dogs, and owners. Just magnificent! The landscaping of the SniffSopt acreage is very intentionally thought out allowing dogs to play in tufts of high grass, run like the wind across some mowed area, explore areas behind and around islands of bushes, the magnificent cedar trees and the wonderful Grove of Alder trees. There are so many diverse ecosystem areas for dogs and people alike to experience while you are here! Car parking is very safe, and the privacy of your experience, your visit, is such a grateful gift that Lorraine's family shares with you. Need to relax? Want your dog(s) to be dogs and play like dogs? This is the spot! This is the Sniffspot for you! Thank you to Lorraine and family🐾❤🐾 Kerry, Sophie & Fergus

Excellent! Best sniff spot in Bellingham. We had a wonderful time. In particular my dog enjoyed running and exploring. The trees were gorgeous; my favorite was the copse of Aspen trees. There was a nice fresh bowl of water. But then a Robin decided that it was the perfect bird bath, which was fun to watch but not conducive for using it for a water bowl. And there was an assertive hummingbird who wanted me to know in no uncertain terms that it was not my territory. That was fun too, since I have a hummingbird feeder and know their personalities. Two suggestions if you're visiting. If it's rainy wait to put your stuff down - there is a nice dry area under the big fir tree with a chair and a place to put your things. If you would like to sit and relax while your dog runs around, it's going to be hard to conscientiously keep an eye on a dog that is a troublemaker. It's easy for the dog to hide behind trees and the fences around garden areas. My dog likes to hide his poop, and I needed to follow closely behind until he did his business. If you're a more sedate or disabled person with a troublemaker, plan on getting more exercise at this sniff spot. On the other hand, if, like me, you need more exercise, that works out great. Lots of encouragement to get out of your duff and move.

Great spot! Lots to explore with a very tall fence! If you have a nosey pooch there are some gardens inside that you might want to keep an eye out for fence gaps but the fence keeping us in seemed very solid!

This Sniffspot keeps getting more beautiful each time we visit! My two pups love rustling through the Daisy patches and running through the long tufts of grass. This Sniffspot is the epitome of thoughtfulness, with the magnificent flower gardens, the landscaping of the entire Sniffspot area and the generous and very kind efforts of Lorraine and all her family to offer this place for a Sniffspot! They clean the water bowl and prepare the really neat doggie pool and there is off street parking!! There's no way to describe the serenity and beauty of this Sniffspot!! If you haven't yet booked this 'Room for Zoomies' Sniffspot, you will be amazed beyond words... This is our #1 spot. Both my pups AND I always go home feeling refreshed, calm, and peaceful❤

This was a wonderful spot and my girl had a great time. There is a lot of variety for her to explore, long grass, short grass, flowers. Woods, tree stumps and a pool. We arrived just as the hosts were putting out clean water. They came out as soon as we left to clean for the next guests. I am in a wheelchair and they were very accommodating. We would definitely go back.

We always enjoy this beautiful spot, I love how even though it's fully fenced and maintained, there are still lots of natural things to explore... trees, tall grasses and flowers always growing and changing. And the hose and pool - the BEST for my girl to splash and play and cool down in on a hot day!

This was great for my little pup! He is only about 10lbs but is full of energy, there was plenty of space for both him and I to run together. We brought his portable water bottle and it was a great way to end our day!
