Lake Cavanaugh K9 Ranch

Unfenced
22 acres

22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.

Hike up the mini forest

Fully Fenced
9.5 acres

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may chain the gate & unleash your doggies right after the bridge. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. As mentioned, there are cabins on the property. Sniffspot is unavailable if the Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. Check it out and Search listing through the hipcamp site. Saturdays are usually blocked IF there's Hipcamp bookings. I would Unblock the hours for Sniffspot use if that day isn't booked for Hipcamp, so please try to check back, who knows that day might be available! Anyway, hope you enjoy your little 'hike up the mini forest’…

Woodland Tranquility Pathways - find solitude!

Partially Fenced
5 acres

Off-grid Sniffspot location in rural Snohomish Washington! You will have the entire 5-acre property to yourself to enjoy! This part of our property is only used for Sniffspot guests. Would be perfect for those that don’t want to interact with others (i.e. cars driving by, strangers, the neighbors...). Safe place for adventurous individuals that prefer to explore alone with their doggo(s), a doggie daycare retreat (we are very popular with dog walkers and their packs of furry clients), a memorable late evening of star-gazing, or a safe place for a highly reactive dog to have fun. Details: 5 acres, off-grid experience (no power) with it’s own private entrance. Secluded, native woodland experience with mowed grass. Two grassy sloping yard areas, a covered shelter with a table and chairs and “Tranquility Trails” that loop up the hill to a shady, fern filled, mossy ravine with a seasonal stream.. There are (overgrown) cottage style gardens near the Parking Area. During your visit, feel free to pick wild blackberries, apples or roses — or pull weeds — if that’s fun for you. 😉. This location is very relaxing. Plan for a couple hours or more to enjoy the quiet, rural lifestyle. TIP: if you have any concerns about your pup(s) going down the driveway, feel free to close the gate for added safety. Note: We are raising money to renovate the cottage located on the property by hosting a Sniffspot. Please do not explore inside the house, a roof collapse happened before we could arrange for it to be replaced.

A walk in Dons woods

Fully Fenced
12 acres

We have a number of wide moss covered walking trails through the woods. The property is fully fenced with wire fencing. But it is NOT dog proof fencing . There is a natural wide buffer between trails and fencing in most spots. The west side has privacy fencing, hogwire fencing on the North and a creek borders the Southend. . We have dogs on the property but they do not go venturing into the woods unless we are with them.

Shelly and Storms 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog play space with inground pool In Surrey

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Lots of room for your dog to run and explore. It is fully fenced and a fence splitting the front and backyard. The backyard has big open spaces as well as lots of trees and bushes near the fence to explore. A tree did fall on part of the fence in back left corner but has lots of over growth it would be hard to get out (my dog has not been able to). There is also an inground pool that is not fully fenced in but can sit and watch your dog swim or join them :) If you would like to use the pool, please give me a day or 2 notice as i will make sure the cover is off and skimmed, etc. The front yard is quite large as well with a gate at the driveway to close to have it fully fenced. I do have chickens but they are fully fenced in. There are tenants upstairs who have a dog but will be aware when you are using the property.

Pig Beach (near Port Ludlow)

Fully Fenced
0.63 acres

A .63 acre dog sanctuary for you and your pup. The yard is well maintained with dog friendly grass and has incredible views of the Hood Canal and Puget Sound. If you're interested, there is private beach access for you and your pup to explore miles of beach (public but almost always empty). There are numerous dog toys available and a massive 6+ person, dog friendly couch (late Spring to early Fall) you can relax on and watch the canal when you need a break! Regarding the beach, there are approximately 50 steps which you will need to climb up and down to access the beach so please wear proper footwear. As this is on the Hood Canal and not a lake or a pond, tides impact the size of the beach. If you are hoping to walk endless miles of beach, the tide will need to be at 2ft or below. Anything under 4ft will give you a massive area (probably 1/2 mile or more) and almost guaranteed private area as only people with stairs can access the beach at this tide level. Though the beach is open at any point, I think the maximum height you would probably want to go is about 6.5ft. This still gives you and your dog a decent sized area to play in (approximately 500ft by 30ft or 1/2 acre). Photos 16 and 17 show the beach at 6.25ft with a very large sandy area for you and your pup to play in. Anything above 6.5 ft is not recommended as the beach just gets thinner and thinner, but you're able to try if you want. (no refunds given if you don't like what you find). With that said, a 8 ft tide still gives you approximately 20 feet x 300 feet of beach to roam so you pup still has some room to explore and 9ft is approximately 10 feet x 30 feet. You are responsible for checking out the tides before you go. Legally, I can't recommend any specific source for you to use, but you might find good information Googling "tide chart port ludlow". Regarding ADA Accessibility, my property is on a gently sloping hill. To access it, there are 2 very wide concrete steps to get to the grass. This would be doable for someone on crutches and probably ok for a regular wheelchair if you had a second person to help lower you to each step and pull you up. It's definitely not accessible to a motorized wheelchair. Sorry. Note - restroom is only available if I'm home, otherwise there is one approximately 2 miles northwest at the gas station in Port Ludlow

Bird Watching and Tail Wagging at the Beaver Pond

Unfenced
21 acres

Please Note: 11/25/22- I’ve decided to open up the calendar for a bit to allow reservations with greater ease, but I do still ask that you message first in case someone related to our forest cleanup project is on-site. 10/1/22- At this time the property could be potentially available for your use, however, we are preparing for the forest cleanup project that we’ve been working towards with the DNR for over a year. If you are interested in visiting here, please message and if it works out I’ll be happy to accommodate you. 07/01/22- Important: The Sniffspot platform does not allow hosts the option to approve or cancel reservations, as such I have blocked my calendar to more easily control reservations. I often don’t know until last minute when the forest manager I’m working with for the DNR forest cleanup project is on-site, the logging will take place hopefully this winter. — This 21-acre forest with a large beaver pond is classified as a class-A wetland. In addition to this, you can find a shallow creek, beaver dams, old-growth forest, and phenomenal bird habitat. Find privacy and quiet with the exception of the songs of many birds and woodpeckers. This property was once a show home, but a fire took place over 10 years ago and the house was not rebuilt. While the ruins that remain are minimal, it sets an interesting backdrop; perhaps it can be the scene for a mysterious photoshoot. Within the property is a small orchard, we do ask to try to not let the pups do their business there. Spring 2022 Update: One picnic table have been added to the property.

Seth's 30 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Chimacum

Partially Fenced
30 acres

Glendale Farm Dog Park Description Welcome to Glendale Farm, a peaceful 180-acre working farm in the heart of the Chimacum Valley where dogs and their people can slow down, explore, and reconnect with nature. Our Sniffspot offers a unique off-leash experience surrounded by open pasture, mature forests, seasonal wetlands, orchards, and quiet farm roads. Depending on the season, you’ll enjoy expansive grassy areas, shaded woodland trails, and wide-open views of one of Washington’s most beautiful agricultural valleys. Your visit is designed to feel like a private countryside adventure. Dogs can sniff along hedgerows, explore winding trails, splash in seasonal puddles after the rains, and enjoy plenty of room to run while you relax beneath towering trees or take in the surrounding farmland. Wildlife sightings are common and may include deer, eagles, hawks, owls, frogs, and countless songbirds. Because Glendale Farm is an active agricultural property, you may occasionally see tractors, farm staff, livestock in separate fenced pastures, or other farm activity at a distance. Our Sniffspot area is selected to maximize privacy while respecting our farming operations. The property changes dramatically with the seasons. Spring brings wildflowers and lush green fields. Summer offers dry walking paths and warm evenings. Autumn is filled with colorful foliage and migrating birds, while winter showcases dramatic skies and peaceful landscapes. Please keep all gates exactly as you found them and remain within designated Sniffspot areas unless otherwise instructed. We encourage you to take your time, breathe deeply, and let your dog experience the sights, scents, and sounds of a working regenerative farm. ⸻ Cleanliness We work hard to provide a natural and enjoyable experience. As an active farm, the grounds are maintained regularly, though visitors should expect natural conditions including grasses, mud during wet weather, leaves, sticks, and uneven terrain. Please help us keep the farm beautiful by packing out any trash and disposing of dog waste in the provided receptacles. ⸻ Hazards HOST NOTE Glendale Farm is a working agricultural property and natural landscape. By visiting, you acknowledge that outdoor recreation carries inherent risks. Please use caution around: * Uneven ground, mole hills, roots, rocks, holes, mud, tall grass, and slippery surfaces. * Seasonal standing water and drainage ditches. * Fallen branches, blackberry vines, nettles, thistles, and native vegetation. * Wildlife including deer, raccoons, coyotes, birds of prey, snakes, insects, bees, wasps, and ticks. * Agricultural equipment, tractors, trailers, fencing, irrigation lines, and other farm infrastructure. * Livestock located in fenced areas. Dogs must never approach, chase, or disturb farm animals. * Weather conditions that may change rapidly, including rain, wind, heat, or icy conditions. Dogs should not consume unknown plants, mushrooms, berries, or standing water. While we make every effort to provide a safe environment, visitors are responsible for supervising their dogs at all times. Please ensure gates remain closed behind you and respect any areas marked as private or closed for habitat restoration or farm operations. Guests assume all responsibility for themselves, their animals, and their belongings while visiting Glendale Farm and agree not to hold Glendale Farm or its owners liable for injuries, accidents, property damage, or incidents arising from use of the property. We hope you and your dog leave a little happier, a little muddier, and already planning your next visit to Glendale Farm. 🐾🌿

55The dogs loved all the space and it’s very convenient to have different pastures to explore or close off. As expected from the description and previous reviews, it was muddy (which the dogs loved) and there was some cow poop and left over bones (which the dogs also loved). We did see a person and dog walking by, but you can easily close off the pasture that would allow dogs to rush the fence if needed. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

55The field was wonderful for our dogs with so much space to run free! Everything was frozen over, but not slippery at all with good shoes and with the grass poking through the ice. Our pups actually had a blast learning how to run across the frozen over water and chase after treats and ice pieces we would slide out for them; great confidence building! Some stray bones, I'm assuming from wildlife having eaten something in the field, but they were old and our dogs didn't bother with them at all! Our Google maps took us directly to the entrance gate and it was clearly marked with a clearing to the side for parking. Securely fenced, even for our little dog, though there was maybe a spot or two she could have squeezed through if she really wanted, but we had 0 issues. We will be booking again in the future!

55Pasture experience was fantastic - everything was frozen so mud wasn't an issue, lots of things to sniff and plenty of room to run. Like other posters mentioned, gunshots were frequent and there was a person with their dog walking with gravel road when leaving (we were already in the car, but our reactive dog freaked out anyway). Overall though I'd go back!

55Fantastic! My dogs loved racing around the pastures, tromping through puddles, sniffing for critters in the taller grass, pretending like they were their Scottish ancestors. I might have also enjoyed stomping through the mud and puddles like a kid in my rain boots, but I won't say. It's a farm, so there's poop and bones and uneven ground - the best kind of place to let a dog be a dog. There were guns (or similar) going off periodically, so take that into account if that's an issue.

55This spot is AMAZING! My dogs had so much fun following all the scent trails, checking out the LGD's leftovers, running up and down the pastures through mud (and yes, cow poop!), and generally had a total blast. No, this isn't a pristine park like yard but that makes it even more fun and interesting for the dogs! Definitely already one of my top favorites worth the almost hour long drive, and we will be back! The entrance was easy to find with SniffSpot signage, parking was not a problem directly off the gravel road, and the fencing is quite secure. Happy humans, happy Cattle Dogs.

55This spot was great! Laura sent clear directions on how to get into the spot in a private message a couple hours before the visit. The gravel road is long, you’ll pass many gates so it might seem confusing as to where to enter, but then you’ll pass a small sniff spot sign before getting to a double green gate that says “sniff spot enter here.” We had no problem with parking on the side of the wide road, no spots that we found to be too muddy, although I do drive a truck. The spot itself does have some bones as mentioned in the listing. Secure fencing. Bring your own water and bowl for the pups. The two gates within the spot that can be opened or closed for desired acreage - one was open when we arrived and added another 2-3 acres from the entry spot. The second gate was not as clear to us, but we saw it off to the left from the first entry and was a much larger space than the first 2 areas (the additional ~8-10 acres). My last picture uploaded is of the second gate that we didn’t notice until a bit later. There are lots of gates so that part was a bit confusing and could probably benefit for a sign on the gates we are allowed to manipulate to differentiate the ones to be left alone. Totally great spot! Heard some dogs barking in the far distance, otherwise did not see anyone or any dogs during our visit. Thanks!

This spot was great! 55I took my two dogs and had a blast, I found that the signage and directions were clear and made our trip easy. We didn’t stumble upon too many bones and the ones we did see caused no issues. Rain boots are a must but there are plenty of dryer areas. The different pastures provided plenty of new areas for the dogs to smell and they had plenty of room to play fetch.I highly recommend!

55This was a tough spot for me personally. Host accurately provided information that this is grazing area and often wet so I expected the poop as well as the soggy nature in parts. I did not expect the scattered skeletal remains or the nearby veal crates. As a farm animal lover, this was extremely unpleasant for me so we cut our visit short. I’m only listing this in case others have similar sensitivities. However, I did leave five stars because the spot is well marked, well fenced, large and spacious. For those who are comfortable with dairy spaces, this is a fantastic romp for your pup.

55This was a great spot for us! Definitely read the owners description of the property and her bio before you book here so you understand what this place is. The property is a pasture for livestock that isn't being used in the winter months. Definitely wear rainboots and expect the dogs to get dirty. But all of the above is not an issue for us at all. Our dogs LOVED running here and the amount of fully fenced space was amazing. We have 2 Malamutes and they had a blast here. Thank you!

55Laura’s property was great for our two boys. They loved running through the fields, exploring, and swimming in the pond. As a brand new Sniffspot, they are still working on getting signage up, that said Laura provided good instructions and we were able to find the spot. Make sure to bring your rain boots and expect the dogs to need a good bath afterwards, that said it’s worth it for how much fun they had!

Frequently asked questions about Bow dog water parks

What do private dog water parks in Bow offer that public parks don't?

Private dog water parks in Bow offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for swimming and water play, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Bow can't guarantee any of this. With 35 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Bow?

Yes! Most of Bow's 35 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Bow listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog water parks in Bow?

Puppies can visit Bow dog water parks as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore swimming and water play without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Bow trainers specifically use dog water parks for puppy development.

How do I find private dog water parks near me in Bow?

Browse Bow's 35 dog water parks on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Bow listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Hike up the mini forest is particularly popular among Bow dog owners.

Can I rent dog water parks in Bow by the hour?

Yes! All 35 dog water parks in Bow are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Bow dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog water parks and public dog parks in Bow?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Bow mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 35 Bow dog water parks give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys swimming and water play and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog water parks in Bow?

Yes! Bow has climate-controlled indoor dog water parks perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Bow locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Bow weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Bow dog water parks help with dog training?

Bow trainers love dog water parks because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice water confidence building, dock diving practice, or swimming-based fitness training, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for swimming and water play.
