55This was a great spot! We drove down the road as instructed and parked part way down. This gave us lots of walking paths to explore! It was a bit muddy- but not bad and the dogs loved it. Lisa Z.

55We absolutely adore this spot! We went up to Robin's place per the old instructions and she showed us where to go. There is a sniffspot sign by the tiny house however not one by the entrance of where to drive down. If you go past the tiny house there's a big gate. You want to park past the crane over the corn if you choose to drive down there. There's a tree with names on the sign and you want to follow that path to the water. The dogs enjoyed swimming in the river and the zoomies that came after.Jenna H.

We absolutely adore this spot! We went up to Robin's place per the old instructions and she showed us where to go. There is a sniffspot sign by the tiny house however not one by the entrance of where to drive down. If you go past the tiny house there's a big gate. You want to park past the crane over the corn if you choose to drive down there. There's a tree with names on the sign and you want to follow that path to the water. The dogs enjoyed swimming in the river and the zoomies that came after.

It takes me almost a half hour to walk to the river, but the walk alongside the field (and watching the corn grow through the spring and summer) is one of the great things about this Sniffspot. The river is beautiful. The first time I visited was in March, and the river was too high and strong for safe swimming (and there was no beach). Now there is a wide, mostly rocky beach, but with plenty of water still to swim in. Robin is lovely to communicate with and we are so grateful she is sharing her family's property. For reactive dogs- on about half of our visits (mostly Sundays) there have been loose dogs in a neighbor's yard (on the east side of the field, separated from the trail by a thick clump of blackberries and bushes) who have barked and moved towards us, but not left their yard. Best to keep your dogs on leash for the walk to the river, to protect the crops in the field and prevent contact with neighbor dogs. At the river, I have seen people fishing on the other side and passing by us on boats, but have always had "our" side of the river to ourselves. Heavenly! Kate S.

55This is an amazing spot! The dogs had so much fun playing at the river! We did end up driving part of the way to the river since our car was able to handle the road but it would be a lovely walk if we didn’t. The river is mostly large rocks so make sure you wear appropriate footwear. Can’t wait to come back! Sara M.

A wonderful & gorgeous place to play! The Host was super friendly and had a lot of information for us. It made us feel so good to be able to watch our dog walk and sniff around without being on a leash and worry about other dogs. He even played in the river (and he doesn't like water).
