Escape to Black Dog Farm for fresh air, happy sniffing, and a little adventure at your dog’s pace! Explore our self-guided wooded trail, with sensory stops along the way that invite your pup to sniff, investigate, and enjoy something new. Two marked “pause paths” offer space to step aside and take a quiet break. Your visit also includes use of our pasture, which is a little over 2 acres—plenty of room to wander and explore together. We’re a working farm, so our horses and pig may be visible during your visit. Our other dogs will be put away during your reservation. Please note: the pasture is only partially fenced, and the trail is not enclosed. This is not a fully fenced dog park; bring a leash or long line for exploring safely. The one plus acre field is the area where the dogs would play/run, there are also woods they can go into, they also have access to a pond about 3/4 acre, but this would need to be discussed at first visit so you take a look and see if it is acceptable. If you are in the pond area, please do not go on the side where the house is situated, this is a private area, stay on the opposite side. The whole area is fenced. Five acres in total. We do have five dogs, but they would be in the house when you are visiting with your dogs, you may hear them bark, but would not see them, a separate entrance to the field is available. No traffic near by.

Welcome to McPeak Farm, a peaceful private country retreat where your pup can sniff, explore, roam, and just be a dog! 🌿🐕 Our home sits at the front of the property, where you’ll find everything you and your pup might need during your visit — fresh towels, sunscreen, drinks, snacks, and even treats for the pups! Pull in and park in the gravel to the right, and you can walk down the cleared tree line to our private trail toward the back of the property. Head up the knoll, and we have a cleared ATV trail on your left leading toward the creek, with plenty of natural space to explore along the way. Let your pup take their time sniffing every tree, wandering through the property, and enjoying all the sights and smells that come with country life. The trail becomes completely wooded so on a hot day, the temperature will drop making it a very enjoyable hike for you and your furry friend! No need to worry about muddy paws or your dog getting a little dirty — this is their adventure! 🐾 You may hear a dog barking in the distance, see birds flying overhead, or catch the occasional sounds of country life, but for the most part, you’ll enjoy peace, privacy, and pure country serenity. Whether you want to stop by for a quick hour of enrichment or spend half the day exploring, there’s room to make your visit your own. Dog Paradise in Northwest Charlotte

**The pool is open for the season!** Welcome! We have a fun property your dogs will love! We have a 2 acre property, which includes approximately a half acre fenced area, a 1 acre unfenced area, and a separately fenced inground pool area. Only dogs are allowed in the swimming pool (unless you're actively helping or playing with them). Two creeks outline our property and dogs are welcome anywhere on the property. We tend to keep the grass in the back of the property a bit longer to support the bees, but it also makes for lots more sniffing for the pups! If you're using the unfenced portion of the yard, dogs must be on leash. We have dogs of our own, but we will keep them secure in the house when you're using the property so you'll have the whole yard and pool to yourself.
