The Honey Spot

Named after my sweet heeler Honey Pie, the Honey Spot is a sweet fully fenced quarter acre yard with some big trees in a convenient location (Guilford Hill neighborhood). The back is lined with 6 ft wooden fencing, and the rest with 4 ft chain link fencing. There is plenty of room for your pup to run around and play safely! There are no weak spots in any of the fencing. Parking is on the street, just walk up the driveway (being careful not to walk up my neighbor’s driveway which is closer to the street corner). You’ll see the gate at the end of the driveway. Poop bags, water, had sanitizer and tennis balls are provided.

Fully fenced and partially shaded backyard in Northwest Greensboro near Highway 68 and 73 in a pretty quiet neighborhood. Close to Northwest Guilford Middle and High Schools, and Pearce Elementary. Gravel driveway with room for a few cars to park. Plenty of grass to run and play in. The yard has a gradual slope to it, not perfectly flat. There's a nice, big pavilion with a few camping chairs for people to sit in the shade, as well as, a couple of large trees to provide shade for doggie rest breaks. There are lots of sticks available for chewing or fetching. Host works from home and will stay inside unless help is requested! We're so happy to invite pet-owners and their dogs into our space and see them enjoy it as much as we do! Shelter volunteers are also welcome to bring shelter dogs for a "Dog Day Out"! Before your first visit, you should get an auto-message 2 hours before your reservation with turn by turn directions. Now on to the good info. The primary area is about 1 1/2 acres. I use it for dog sports such as Toss and Fetch (disc). It is ideal for throwing a ball, a disc, or just letting your dog run. There is a shed in this area that has chairs, toys, etc. for guests. There is an agility field, available by special permission only, for those with prior agility experience. See extras.
