55Very nice and quiet area for walking off leash with a dog through the forest to the lake. Although it was raining and windy we had a great time! We’ll return for sure.

55Beautiful. A bit of an adventure getting to the hosts house, but that’s part of the fun. We did see a deer, so keep that in mind for how your dog will respond. Dawn S.

55Macken is an exceptional host and his Sniffspot is one of a kind. Not just a Sniffspot but an enchanting forest paradise for dogs, offering a perfect blend of lush greenery and sparkling water for them to play and swim.
Macken and his canine companions and my pack meshed well together and all 7 dogs had a blast. The serene environment stimulates all their senses, allowing them to explore, exercise, and connect with nature.
With ample space to run and the refreshing lake to splash in, it’s an ideal place for dogs to unleash their energy and enjoy a fulfilling adventure. We will come again. Kate T.

55Perfect place to take a snowy walk. We didn't make it down to the lake because our small dog was too short to get far in the snow, but we will be back with his backpack! Incredibly gracious host, nothing but good things to say 💖Fortuna B.

55This place was amazing! What a serene and beautiful part of the woods. We didn’t spend too much time on the actual property, although our dog loved running around down to the creek and back. We took Macken’s directions along the secluded lakefront trail to the beach which was about a mile from the property and spent most of our time there. We had the whole side of the lake to ourselves. We could hear a few people and their dogs across the lake at the day beach, but it wasn’t an issue for us and our dog. She had so much fun, and so did we. We also met Macken and talked for a bit towards the end, he was very kind and was even able to get our dog to show off a few tricks! We will definitely be booking again. Michelle H.

55Host is so nice! He gave us the option of staying on his property or there is a cool lookout point/beach access to the lake. We decided to take Nikita on the long lead to check out the lake. It was beautiful and we enjoyed the mile walk down the service road. Marie U.

55We had a wonderful time as always at Spring Acres. Both my dog and I enjoy the beautiful wooded trails. He enjoys all the different woodland scents and also enjoys a dip in the creek no matter how cold it is. Consequently, he comes home clean and with a nice woodland scent to his coat, rather than a dirty dog smell. All in all, a highly recommended Sniffspot!Bonnie B.

55Wow! This place was amazing. John and Stephanie were very nice people and the tour was short but informative before we were let loose to explore on our own. Our dog Suki LOVED this place. She was able to explore off leash and she had the best time ever, by the time we left she curled up and passed out in the car she was so tired! Would 1000% recommend this sniffspot! Erin B.

55We always have so much fun up here. ❤️ It's absolutely my favorite Sniffspot! We could come every day, and would never get bored or have the same experience twice. You can't help but laugh watching your pack race along the trails, splash through the creeks, scramble over logs, snoot and root under ferns, zoom around the pasture, and roll in the mud. The pups have the time of their lives, and you'll leave with joy in your heart. I appreciate how kind, generous and thoughtful our hosts are, sharing this magical place with all of us.Aubbie B.

Frequently asked questions about Easton dog hiking trails
What do private dog hiking trails in Easton offer that public parks don't?
Private dog hiking trails in Easton offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for natural exploration and varied terrain, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Easton can't guarantee any of this. With 8 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.
Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Easton?
Yes! Most of Easton's 8 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Easton listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.
When can puppies start visiting dog hiking trails in Easton?
Puppies can visit Easton dog hiking trails as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore natural exploration and varied terrain without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Easton trainers specifically use dog hiking trails for puppy development.
How do I find private dog hiking trails near me in Easton?
Browse Easton's 8 dog hiking trails on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Easton listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Spring Acre's at Fiveash Farm is particularly popular among Easton dog owners.
Can I rent dog hiking trails in Easton by the hour?
Yes! All 8 dog hiking trails in Easton are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Easton dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.
What's the difference between Sniffspot dog hiking trails and public dog parks in Easton?
The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Easton mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 8 Easton dog hiking trails give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys natural exploration and varied terrain and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.
Are there indoor dog hiking trails in Easton?
Yes! Easton has climate-controlled indoor dog hiking trails perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Easton locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Easton weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.
How do Easton dog hiking trails help with dog training?
Easton trainers love dog hiking trails because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice trail recall in natural environments, leash manners on varied terrain, or hiking endurance building, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for natural exploration and varied terrain.
