The expansive, mostly unfenced property is beautifully maintained and provides a peaceful, natural environment—ideal for energetic dogs with a strong sense of curiosity and adventure.
During our visit, my dog was thoroughly engaged from start to finish—racing through tall grass, navigating the river, and indulging in countless scent trails. The water added an extra layer of excitement and was clearly a highlight. I highly recommend bringing a towel for the post-adventure clean-up.
While the area is not fully enclosed, it is well-suited for dogs with reliable recall or for those who benefit from secluded, distraction-free exercise. Ashley’s thoughtful curation of the space reflects a clear commitment to providing a unique and restorative experience for both dogs and their humans.

55Lovely, large, open space! My old girl loves tall grass, and this place provides. We saw some elk while there and evidence they'd been snoozing in the fields. The river is too high now (early May), but bet that access there is great in the summer and early fall. A couple, small, muddy spots were easily avoidable, if that's a concern for you.
Heads up: barbed wire on the property and the parking sign is very faded. I was looking for the parking area and ended up in the host's front yard (oopsie), but spotted it on our way walking back from parking spot 2.
