Welcome to Charlie’s Hideaway - your dog's new favorite adventure spot! 🐾🐾 This 9-acre, fully fenced native pasture (with 4’ wire square fencing) is made for sniffing, zoomies and exploring. Rolling hills, patches of short and tall grass & a sandy area give your pup plenty of variety to roam and investigate. This private space is also a great fit for reactive dogs or those who need a calm, low-traffic environment. Street parking is available near the entrance and a two-gate entry system provides an added layer of security - allowing you to enter at your own pace and help your dog transition calmly into the space. As you come through the gate, you'll find a covered canopy and welcome station with fresh water, clean bowls, poop bags, toys and towels - everything you need for a comfortable visit. Chairs are available so you can sit back, relax and soak in those gorgeous Pike Peak views while your dog does their thing. Wildlife sightings are part of the charm - you may see hawks overhead, rabbits in the grass and occasionally deer passing by. Two resident barn cats also live on the property, but they're very shy and rarely seen. Please help keep Charlie's Hideaway clean and enjoyable for everyone by picking up after your dog (poop bags are provided and a trash can is located at the gate). 10% of profits donated to local SPCA monthly. 7 acres of fenced forest to play on including a hiking trail for the pet owners! There is a switch back trail through the middle of the property marked by tree branches/logs and pink/green flags. Further trail description below the instructions. Best way to find the trail from the gate is to either follow the fence line up to the right all the way to the top of the property or walk straight up the gulley until you see the first green flag. The green flags mark the beginning and end of each switchback. There are 29 rows of switchbacks. Between the green flags there are pink flags to guide you with branches and logs to mark the left and right of each trail. There are a few places where the trail merges which is marked by 2 yellow flags. The last (or first depending on the ascent or descent chosen) trail row has yellow flags that have been colored pink (see pictures at the very end of the collage). It is about a 4 mile round trip hike if you follow the switch backs up then down (or vice versa). For you hiking purists the switchback rows are not perfectly parallel. This was a 3 year manual effort. The more ya’ll hike it the more visible it will be.

Country Run's Private Ranch is 58 acres located just shy of one mile off of Highway 285 off of Pleasant Park Road. An amazing location - a hidden gem. As you walk from the parking area along the path, the property opens up into a beautiful aspen forest with wooden benches and a large meadow. Half way down the meadow on the left (west) side is a small riparian area with Alder trees - the beginning of several spring fed creeks. The hillside on the east side of the property offers rock outcroppings, large rock benches and 360 views. Our dogs thoroughly enjoy their time here and we hope your dog does, too! Depending on the time of year, the spring fed area can be muddy, an old towel is recommended for the drive home. This property is perfect for dog walks, picnics and celebrations. Update June 2026 - We are winding down our Sniffspot as we are transitioning to a wildlife refuge and hummingbird sanctuary as our hummingbirds have returned for the season! Thank you to all for visiting us and reach out if you’d like more information about visiting the hummingbird sanctuary. ** ** ** If there is snow, you’ll need a 4x4 vehicle for the roads and driveway. The stream is running off and on so be sure to bring some dog towels for wet paws. Our trails - We have 15 acres of trails (2 miles of different trail loops) running through the property, including a narrow seasonal stream that runs in the spring. We use the trails for dog walking, hiking, and mountain biking. May-September we have tons of hummingbirds zipping through the property. The trails are considered intermediate: easy in parts, and intermediate in parts, with uneven Colorado rocky terrain. The trails wind up and down the side of a mountain and empty into the forest and the meadows. There are inclines and declines. This property is not for everyone - it’s very natural. The trails are in great condition and it beautiful, but there is a wild element to it similar to any park in the area. WINTER: We try to keep the trails available in the winter for snowy hikes - you'll need a 4x4 vehicle for roads and driveway. The sun can warm the snowy trails up quickly so we suggest bringing a towel for snowy days. The meadow has a couple of icy spots where the snow doesn’t melt as quickly, but you can easily walk around these areas on the trail. Free amenities available for guest use: - WiFi - Walking/hiking poles - Air horn for guest safety - Dog waste bags and trash can - Fenced in area near parking spot - Picnic table and benches in doggy play areas. - Rock outcroppings great for climbing and photo opportunities - Seasonal stream at the bottom of the mountain trails, with natural springs flowing out of the mountain all year round. **We will be closing our sniffspot June 20th as we will be moving July 1st. It is very bittersweet as this has been one of the most fun adventures I've ever had! The response has been amazing and I hope to come back and do this again someday! Stay tuned!! If you need more than an hour, please message me. I offer 1/2-hour blocks between swims to clean the pool. If you don't see a slot that works for you, please message me so I can work with you and our schedules. Want to throw a puppy pool party? Message me for more details!! We live on a 6-acre property, of which about 2 acres b/w the front yard and backyard are fully fenced in. In the privacy fenced backyard, we have an in-ground pool that is dog friendly from May-late Oct. Oct-May the front & back yards are available for lots of room to run! We live out in East Parker, and it feels like out in the country. We have 2 dogs of our own. 1 is a black lab and 1 a mutt. Owning labs for over 20 years, is how we became passionate about opening our pool to other dogs who love to swim! We do keep our pups securely in the house or sometimes leave the house if requested. Also feel free to send messages about off hours as we may approve them if given enough notice. Note: I leave at least 30 minutes between bookings to assure there are no run ins. We have horses for neighbors and great views. Come enjoy some relaxion and wear out your pup at the same time! We keep the hot tub open year-round which can be added as an extra! Need some socialization? We have a very friendly Black lab named Kennedy that you can borrow for free! She loves to be chased, and she has been known to help dogs swim but showing them the ropes! Enjoy your visit, — The Mini Moo Mountain Family Come walk 17 acres of mixed terrain, sweeping meadow to rock outcroppings to wooded areas. This area is fully fenced, the fence is a welded mesh type with some portions being straight wire for deer access. We have 2 friendly dogs that have no recall and therefore only have access to their dog run, they will be kept inside the house during reservations. We also have a small chicken coop and run located next to the house. ** UPDATE ** We also now have mini cows located on the top right of the property. Please be aware some wildlife (black bears, deer, elk, turkeys and moose) may occasionally be around. Wooded areas have blown down trees and some firewood processing areas. Please make an immediate left after entering the property, park in front of the gate where the access to the wooded area is. We have added signage indicating where to park.
