This is a somewhat rural definitely private backyard for your pup to run and sniff. One acre is fenced in for hours of fun. Off street parking is provided! bucket water, and balls are provided! Trash & Amenities: The trash can and a dog ramp off the deck. There are also clean wipes on the table should you need them. Balls and toys are clean - and brought out right before your visit. Seating: We have a table and four chairs on the deck - help yourself to a sit down while your pups play. Fence: The fence is four feet high - split railing. You will walk thru a wooden gate to the yard area. There are no holes or rips in the fencing. Next to our property - there are neighbors who also have fencing. Wildlife: You may see rabbits, deer, and squirrels. * We see hawks occasionally. Please watch your little dogs* Grounds: It is a hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. Even though it is all grass, our pups love digging holes! We have three bee hives that are about 15 feet from the back fencing in the edge of the woods. You can see them in the pictures. Water: There are two buckets of clean water available.

A large enclosed area on an organic vegetable farm. I built this fire my dogs but am happy to share. Your dog can have the run of the place or I can add one or two of my friendly hounds to play with. Stay for a few minutes or a few days.

We bought this property for our dogs, and have invested heavily in creating an off-leash haven for them. We have 3 separately fenced areas that all connect by gates. Entry to Cody and Lovey's Legacy park is through what we call the "Sniff Lounge" - a lean-to type covered porch filled with straw to roll and dig in, and lots of smells to uncover. The Sniff Lounge leads to the lightly wooded Explorium - a shaded area with hanging food puzzle toys, barrels, and natural obstacles for dogs to explore. The Explorium leads to our Green Space - a large, open fenced yard with shade and sun, a pool, and some additional obstacles, jumps, a homemade creek and waterfall and a tunnel. You and your dog are welcome to use the pool, but please be aware that there is no dog ramp. You will have to help your dog navigate the stairs to get out. Do not use the pool if you are not willing to get in with your dog! We have the homemade creek and waterfall (just turn the hose nozzle on) and a baby pool for dogs who can't get in the human pool. At the back of the Green Space, you'll see another gate that leads to the Wooded Grove. The Wooded Grove is also fully fenced and has a couple trails cut in to the woods, with some chairs to relax in. The Wooded Grove is not large, but dogs love it, and it feels so nice and cool even on super hot days. It's a place for dogs to get their Sniff on for sure. Cody and Lovey's Legacy Park is named in honor of our past friends, who would have really enjoyed this wonderful spot.

Enjoy a peaceful space in Mars Hill located on an active hobby farm. Our Sniffspot is fully enclosed with no-climb, 4ft goat fencing and includes walking paths and a small creek for your pups to play in. Easy access from the main road with a small graveled parking space right in front of the Sniffspot entrance. As most properties in Mars Hill, the acreage is located on a hillside. Your dog can play near the creek at the bottom of the slope which is more flat and shaded or take a short hike along the path to the top and enjoy amazing mountain views while your pup plays in the pasture! We do have chickens, goats, sheep and pigs that remain in their separate fenced in pasture, but occasionally the chickens may roam in the parking area, so please be aware.

Every spot is very unique which is the fun part of Sniffspot. We want visitors to have clear expectations before their first visit; this is why we provide so much detail in the description. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions, so we can ensure you have the best visit possible. Parking: Please park in the gravel driveway, not the concrete driveway. Do not park in the grass as it becomes damaged over time. If you arrive early, feel free to hang out on the swing next to the gravel driveway. Chain Link Gate Entrance: Walk down the gravel driveway to access the chain link gate entrance. Next to the man gate, there are water canteens, water bowl, dog toys, dog towels, bug spray, white bucket for trash, and dog treats majority of the time. We do our best to keep the water canteens at the entrance full with water. The only water hose to refill water canteens or rinse your dog off is at the house. There is a water hose on a reel at the front and back of the house. At the entrance, we have a solar light which only lights up the entrance. If you are comfortable being on the property past sunset, head lamps and flashlights can be provided. We will leave the outside house lights on which provides light in the back yard but not the whole property. Also, if you turn your car headlights on, the lights point directly at the field providing some light. Nature: 3 sides of the property run parallel to a creek and woods, so you might see critters (i.e. turtles, snakes, deer, raccoons, birds, crawdads, ants, etc.). Closed toe shoes are a good idea to wear. In the wooded section, there are wood chips, so they easily get caught in flip flops. Open Field: There is a large open field when you first walk through the man gate. In the field, there is a metal glider, two metal chairs, two swing chairs, and table. There is a dome climber play center for kids and a trampoline. Dogs and kids are welcome to jump on the trampoline. (Note: There is no longer a safety net around the trampoline.) The open field holds water after a good rain. We put straw down to help prevent mud. Woods: Towards the back of the property behind the house, there is 2.3 acres of open space with plenty of shade from the mature trees with two hammocks and a fire pit. If the field is wet, we suggest hanging out behind the house in the woods. The ground is always more dry. House: Our house is located on the property within the fenced in area. During visits, we always stay indoors with our dogs with the blinds closed to give guests their privacy. If we happen to arrive from work or errands during a visit, we park at the end of the driveway and walk through the driveway gate straight to the house. We try to message our guests ahead of time if we might arrive during visiting hours. If your dog is reactive to strangers, we certainly appreciate a message stating that, so we can plan better. Creek/Kiddie Pool: To the right of the large open field, there is another man gate that provides access to a creek. The creek is not fenced in but is on our property. The creek has a small sandy beach for digging, two lounging chairs, and a small table. Our dogs swim in the creek almost every day. We keep a long orange leash at the creek gate in case your dog wants to enjoy the creek but has selective listening skills. The leash is long enough for the dog to get in the creek while the owner stands on the bank. (Note: The previous owners buried their trash for years on the creek bed. We are in the process of cleaning it up. The section that has trash is barricaded off with black netting, so dogs can't access the area with glass, metal, etc.) We understand some people don't want their dogs swimming in the creek. We have a kiddie pool, 30 gal black plastic stock tank, and splash pad available during warmer months. The water hose is on a hose reel at the back of the house. Feel free to fill it up with water for your dogs to cool off. Neighbors: We have neighbors that have indoor dogs. Our fences do not touch at all. However, when their dogs are outside in their fenced in back yard, they can see visitors at the main entrance. The neighbor's dogs will bark out of excitement when they see visitors. If you walk back further on the property, they can't see you and won't bark. If your dogs are reactive to the sight or sound of other dogs, this spot might not be the best fit for your dogs. Lastly, we have a neighbor across the creek and through the woods with a rooster. The rooster can't be seen but can be heard at times.

Silent H Acres is almost an acre fenced spot for your dog to go sniffing, running, fetching, and discovering. There are toys to play with (frisbees, tug rope, tennis balls, etc) and sticks to fetch. The grass ranges from 2” mowed, to 4” natural, up to about 12+ inches. A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. For you, we will keep a track around the perimeter of the fence mowed so you can use it for a walking track. PLEASE NOTE, the electric fence is DISCONNECTED. This is a large private field that is tucked just a short distance from downtown Hendersonville one block from the Hendersonville Community Co-op and not far from Flat Rock! This spot Less than 10 minutes from Exit 53 on I-26! Making it the perfect place to stretch your legs before traveling on! It has everything you need: - Flat- though the ground is uneven - Drive in access so you can park inside the 12" gate into the fenced area with your pets and close the gate behind you - A custom built gazebo for shelter from the sun and rain - No drive by traffic - No people walking by - Full view of your pet while they run and play! - Games for people and dogs are already onsite! - However, Please remember extra water for you and your pets. Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

Access is possible to those sites. Thank you for your understanding. Have you ever wanted to run your dog on three football sized flat fields? This is your chance. Located behind UPM Raflatac in the cane creek industrial park this huge spot is the third one we have built. It’s been designed for complete privacy for you and your pets. No drive by traffic no people walking by, just you and your kids on 4 flat acres. It’s perfect for all ages of dogs and their humans because of the terrain! If you are up for an adventure, we have cut in a small trail to access Cane Creek. It is part of the same property but is NOT fenced in any way. If your pup enjoy off or on leash hikes, then feel free. The trail is outside the fenceing look for the silver gate across from the Gazbo. It is an out and back path with two small hills about a 3-5min walk in the woods. This area is not fenced. A picnic table, gazebo with swing, hammock and umbrella, are located here for lots of seating and shelter. Some toys are provided and even a game of horse shoes for humans! I think a Remote Control car or a drone, a mountain bike might be really fun to bring or even a Remote Control plane. This spot is actually part of the old Fletcher airport. ***Post Helene update****We will be back. We need the yard to dry and we need running water. Our water is filtered so the pool and water bowl are always filtered water, but at the moment we don’t have running water. The fence has been restored and is better than ever. Our dogs have been super stressed so we know our fur friends need to decompress. We get it. We are hoping to be open by mid October if we get enough sun. ***** We have over an acre, fully fenced. Pull right up to the marked gate by the out building and go right in. Tall trees provide shade and there is seating. Our dog Oliver shares his toys and we keep a doggy waste station available for easy cleanup. We live in the house on the property with our 3 dogs but want to share our spacious yard with others. I will always inspect the fencing before your arrival due to deer that like to jump across our fencing. In addition, we have a bench inside the carport. Fence: The fence is four feet on three sides and five feet on the road side. The front fence is wood slats/split rail with wire. On other sides we have wire and chain link. *There are critters that like to lift up our wire fencing. Just beware if you have a tiny dog.* Wildlife: You may see snakes, rabbits, deer, and squirrels. PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF BEARS! I have had a bear in the back yard a few times recently. They jump fences! If you need a better idea of where it is, it's within walking distance of the East Asheville Farmer's Market, Library, Fire Department, and Wells Fargo. I'm also close to Bull Mountain Rd. A few Announcements: While I make every effort to ensure that my roommate and other guests have cleaned up after their dogs, I have occasionally been informed that they have not. So I must now update the description accordingly. I welcome you to partake of my beautiful backyard in a peaceful neighborhood- as long as you are aware it is possible there is occasional dog poo. Also be advised that if you are extremely sensitive to poison ivy, be aware there may be some in some parts of the yard. If your dog is a curious sort, be aware that there is some yard equipment being stored under the deck and this area is open and not blocked off. I cannot anticipate every guest's need, but I am happy to offer my yard for a small fee to those who understand what is being offered. Thank you! Also, if you should happen to encounter my neighbor in the back left of the yard, please be advised he is unfortunately a little senile and has been known to be a nuissance to several of his neighbors. I don't want to scare you off, as we love our yard and will continue using our yard in the ways we see fit. If his (small) dogs come out while you are there, please be careful with your dogs, and please take anything he says with a grain of salt-, he unfortunately sometimes behaves like your classic grumpy old man. We apologize in advance for anything he says and are working on a solution. It may take some time for that to be implemented. Recommendations: 1) Please clean up after your dog. 2) If you book an evening time, be prepared with a flashlight, or know when the sun sets. I have outside lights, but I can't guarantee they will always be on, and they don't illuminate the whole yard. The space: A wide open space with rolling hills for your dogs to play, while you enjoy the view. *The sprinkler is actually a garden hose that is a "soaker" hose. It sprays water out of it like a sprinkler. There are plenty of sticks you can throw for the dog to fetch. (The location is 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 5 minutes to Downtown Asheville, and close to the Folk Art Center. The newly renovated Haw Creek library and playground, Creekside Tavern, and High Five Coffee are just down the street. You can also walk to the Haw Creek Farmer's Market from here on Fridays, 3-6 pm. You can walk straight from to the Mountain to Sea trail from here without having to drive, and hike to Lunchbox rock (seen in pictures here.) I included the porch pictures so you could see the sunset. :) ) There is hand sanitizer, sunblock and bug spray under the stairs, under the side of the bottom step that you are welcome to use.i

Fully fenced .5 acre for doggies to get their zoomies out! There is a little shade from trees from both the front yard and backyard, all fenced in, and with a doggie pool! I have a shed and a front porch that provides some shade as well. I would love to have a happy place for your doggies, I have always been a dog lover!

We have a huge fenced in backyard, around 1/2 acre, and there’s a smaller fenced in area in the backyard. During the summer when it gets hot we’ll have a kiddie pool and a water hose you’re free to use. I can also provide a few chairs, and water for the pups if needed!

Roughly 3 acres of area to explore. Creek runs from one corner of the property to the next full of spots for pups to splash and play. Large open area (.5- 1 acre) to run in the front and about 2 acre of wooded area in the back. Currently not fenced in but we are working to have fenced in areas very soon. This park is in memory of my pup Bazzle that has recently passed away. I hope other dogs can have as much fun as he did here.

You can head off the property to go explore the nature trails around the lake with your favorite furry friends before heading home. There's a water bowl with fresh filtered water at all times. Easy access through the side gate and parking is on the street in front of our home, or at the clubhouse where you can walk the trail before heading into the yard for some physical fun, sniffing for enrichment or one-on-one time wiht space.
