Cathy's 20 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Willits

Partially Fenced
20 acres

Part of 160 acre off-grid homestead and along Highway 20/Ft Bragg Rd (10-15min from 101) we are an excellent roadside stop on a road trip. 1st time visitors are met at the gate by the roadside farm stand. and shown around. I have cut trails through the grassy fields to walk on and there are big oak trees for shade. One trail passes the wildlife corridor that passes under Hwy 20/Ft Bragg Rd. If you’re sitting/resting in the area I cleared across from the corridor, you may see some wildlife. I provide a water bucket for dogs to drink from. We do not have permanent chairs at this time, but you’re welcome to bring your own or check some out until I can provide something permanent. We also have ample space that you may bring dog agility stuff for. I am totally willing to clear space in the grass for your equipment, just let me know and we’ll create a spot together. I hope this spot provides great happiness to you and your dog.

Megan's 2 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Philo

Fully Fenced
2 acres

Designated Off-Leash Area (2 Acres Fully Fenced) This Sniffspot includes a fully fenced 2-acre grassy orchard area near the chicken coop. This is the primary off-leash space and is regularly maintained and inspected for safety. The fenced orchard is ideal for running, fetch, and secure play. Additional Ranch Access (Leashed Only) Our property is a 150-acre working ranch. Guests are welcome to walk their dogs on ranch roads and surrounding areas, but these are natural rural surfaces (gravel, dirt, grass) and are not groomed park-style areas. Dogs must remain leashed outside the fenced orchard zone. Important: If you are looking for a manicured suburban dog park experience, this may not be the right fit. This is a private rural ranch environment.

Sally's Private Dog Park In Philo

Unfenced
2 acres

There is a fenced in backyard that would be secure for a large dog but a small dog could find a way out. I have a large water bowl and hose for fresh water. Poop bags/shovel available There are three different walks or trails. Two are rather steep terrain and one is short but mild. Off leash is ok but deer can be present at times so know your dog. I’m almost always home and always available if you have any questions! Easy to park

Frequently asked questions about Fort Bragg dog parks

What amenities do private dog parks in Fort Bragg offer that public parks don't?

Fort Bragg private dog parks offer amenities you'll never find at public facilities: swimming pools for water-loving dogs, agility equipment for training, climate-controlled indoor spaces for year-round use, hiking trails on private property, and secure fencing customized for different dog sizes. Hosts provide poop bags, water stations, toys, and even dog wash stations. Cathy's 20 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Willits is especially known for exceptional amenities. Every Fort Bragg listing shows exactly what's included—no surprises.

Are there fully fenced private dog parks in Fort Bragg?

Yes! Most of Fort Bragg's 20 Sniffspot locations are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed fencing specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, or reactive dogs who need contained space. Fort Bragg listings show fencing photos so you can verify security before booking.

How clean are private dog parks in Fort Bragg compared to public ones?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Fort Bragg are maintained by overworked city staff and often littered with waste from dozens of dogs daily. Sniffspot hosts in Fort Bragg maintain their own spaces and take pride in cleanliness since it directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Fort Bragg hosts provide fresh poop bags, empty trash regularly, and sanitize water stations. Plus, with only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal. Check reviews to see cleanliness ratings.

What types of dog parks can I find in Fort Bragg?

Fort Bragg has 20 diverse options: small dog parks for specific training activities, fully fenced dog parks for different environments, and dog fields for varied experiences. Want a backyard for simple off-leash time? We've got it. Need acres of trails for hiking? Check. Looking for water access or agility obstacles? Available. Browse by park type to see what matches your dog's interests, then filter by location within Fort Bragg to find convenient options.

Can I book Fort Bragg dog parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Fort Bragg Sniffspot locations offer same-day or next-day availability, and most bookings can be made instantly without waiting for host approval. Unlike public dog parks that might be crowded during peak times, Fort Bragg private parks let you reserve exactly when you need them—early morning before work, midday breaks, or evening exercise. Check individual listings for real-time availability and booking policies.

Do Fort Bragg dog parks have water access?

Many do! Filter Fort Bragg's 20 locations by amenities to find dog parks with swimming pools, natural ponds, creeks, or beach access. Water features are perfect for Fort Bragg's hot summer days or for dogs who love to swim. Each listing specifies water type and depth, plus whether it's safe for swimming or just wading. Some Fort Bragg hosts provide life vests or shallow kiddie pools for water-nervous dogs.

Are there indoor dog parks in Fort Bragg?

Yes! Fort Bragg has climate-controlled indoor options perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Fort Bragg locations typically feature rubberized flooring (easier on joints), artificial turf, or padded surfaces. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs needing gentle surfaces, or reactive dogs benefiting from enclosed environments. Filter by "indoor" to see Fort Bragg's covered and climate-controlled options.

What's the best time to visit dog parks in Fort Bragg?

With Sniffspot, any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks that are crowded during peak hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't have to worry about timing in Fort Bragg. Book whenever fits your schedule—midday when public parks are empty, dawn for cool weather, or late evening for convenience. Many Fort Bragg locations have lighting for after-dark visits. The flexibility is one of the biggest advantages over public parks.
