Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

17 acre working farm with 50 livestock in fenced pastures. Entire farm is fenced in, including five livestock pastures and two corrals. Two turn-of-the-century barns great for photo backgrounds. Dogs can get near the fencing but not into the pastures with livestock. Mini highland cow, Irish dexter cow, alpacas, sheep, donkeys, ponies, goats - all in pastures and safely fenced off.

Our spacious backyard is fully fenced in with 4 gates, two of which are accessible for entry. The main gate is opened by a FOB which can be left outside for easy retrieval. Our dog loves to look at the chickens next door, play fetch, and chew on the many sticks in the yard. A large water bowl can be provided for pet use and drinks can be provided for animal parents upon request. We have hammocks and plenty of shaded area in the yard. Our dog Oliver shares his toys and we keep a doggy waste station available for easy cleanup. We live in the house on the property with our 2 dogs but want to share our spacious yard with others. The doggy pool is out in warm weather and is filled with filtered water. Please do not come early as our dogs are in the yard between bookings, and please leave on time. We do a lot between visits to get the yard ready for the next guest, and also our dogs enjoy checking pee mails. Leaving 2-3 minutes late, or later, puts us behind schedule and we are typically booked back to back all day.
