Pondside Paws Park

Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

PetSafe Unleashed Dog Park

PetSafe Unleashed Dog Park, located at 1005 Park Rd in Sevierville, Tennessee, offers an unfenced area for dogs to play off-leash. Owners must keep their dogs on a leash outside of the off-leash area and clean up after them immediately. Dogs must be licensed and vaccinated, wear a collar and ID tag, and be supervised at all times. Aggressive dogs and those in heat are not allowed. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult, and a limit of 2 dogs per handler is enforced. The park provides amenities such as agility equipment, a swimming pool, and more. Operating hours are from dawn to dusk daily.

My property has multiple trails, 2 small fields, streams, a large pond for swimming, and a dog wash station! Lots of space to play. Truly a dog paradise! My property is located on a long, gravel driveway (named by me as Maple Gap Rd) off Frozen Creek Road and just a short distance from the back entrance of Gorges State Park. Once turning onto Frozen Creek Road it’s about 1.3 miles on your right. You’ll see a small green sign saying Maple Gap Road and a Sniffspot sign. Parking is available beside the garage (looks like a house). Ok to park behind my silver truck that stays there. You’ll see a Sniffspot ‘park here’ sign, a dog waste station with bags, and a brown bench with tennis balls, water bowls, and bug spray in a storage bin under the seat. Access to the two small fields and stream is across the gravel driveway. My two homes on the property are vacation rentals by owner. If you see guests they may/may not have dogs. Welcome to our yard! We are located in a dog friendly neighborhood at Lake Hartwell. Our street has a loop where you are welcome to take your dog for a walk on a leash with the view of the lake. Or you can sit in the shade under our covered carport and enjoy a bottle of water while your sweet pup roams around the backyard. There is a small trail or two in the woods on our property that you’re welcome to stroll through as well. While there are trees cut down next door, there has been no construction or activity taking place. Come enjoy this quiet and peaceful setting with your furry best friend!
