The Wet Spot

Welcome to the Wet Spot! Designed by dogs for dogs our 1.4 acre fully fenced play area features a 1/2 acre swim pond, dock, sand dig pit, rocky stream, grassy open areas, and a shaded pavilion. Feel free to bring your own SUP or kayak! The Wet Spot is a great place to work on paddle training. Our pond is regularly tested for Cyanobacteria (blue green algae).

Private Creekside Dog Paradise in Hayesville

Enjoy a private 2+ acre dog paradise featuring an L-shaped creek wrapping along the property—perfect for cooling off and exploring. The creek is shallow in most areas and walkable, making it ideal for dogs who love to splash or wade. Plenty of shade throughout for comfortable play, even on warmer days. McT Family Farm

17 acre working farm with 50 livestock in fenced pastures. Entire farm is fenced in, including five livestock pastures and two corrals. Two turn-of-the-century barns great for photo backgrounds. Dogs can get near the fencing but not into the pastures with livestock. Mini highland cow, Irish dexter cow, alpacas, sheep, donkeys, ponies, goats - all in pastures and safely fenced off.

Pondside Paws Park

Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

David's 66 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Brevard

My property has multiple trails, 2 small fields, streams, a large pond for swimming, and a dog wash station! Lots of space to play. Truly a dog paradise! My property is located on a long, gravel driveway (named by me as Maple Gap Rd) off Frozen Creek Road and just a short distance from the back entrance of Gorges State Park. Once turning onto Frozen Creek Road it’s about 1.3 miles on your right. You’ll see a small green sign saying Maple Gap Road and a Sniffspot sign. Parking is available beside the garage (looks like a house). Ok to park behind my silver truck that stays there. You’ll see a Sniffspot ‘park here’ sign, a dog waste station with bags, and a brown bench with tennis balls, water bowls, and bug spray in a storage bin under the seat. Access to the two small fields and stream is across the gravel driveway. My two homes on the property are vacation rentals by owner. If you see guests they may/may not have dogs. I have a big open field that is bordered by a small creek, a few trees in the middle. My house cannot be seen from the field in the summer, in the fall and winter it’s a little bit visible, but the field and the house are still a good distance apart from each other. My dogs would bark if they thought something was down there so I will keep them in the house during bookings! There is a big shipping crate with an awning that can provide shade. I can’t provide a bathroom but as they say..what happens in the woods stays in the woods, haha!

We have a large grassy field to run and play. There is no fencing but there are natural barriers on the sides of the field—a tree line running parallel to the road and on two sides and our driveway on the other. We have neighbors with animals but they are rarely heard and never seen. We own the three houses surrounding the field so it is a very safe and quiet area. Lots of shaded areas. There is a paved driveway for parking and it’s only steps to the field. You will have access to fresh water, disposable bowls, chairs, waste bags, paper towels and a trash container.
