We have 5 acres of land that is fully enclosed with a fence. Roughly 1.5 acres - 2 acres is cleared land, perfect for running and activity. The remainder is forested. We reside next to a nature preserve, so wild animal encounters can occur. We have seen bears, coyotes, and snakes. Most of these occur in the morning time. The fence up front has some larger holes that a small dog could get through, but this is far away from the primary area located in the back. There are plants toxic to dogs around the house, so it is probably best to remain in the open areas.

We are located right outside of the Deland city limits. We live on a private street with a few houses, each house having acreage; the perfect blend of privacy and beauty. Everyone tells us our dogs are so lucky to have their own personal "dog park." So we thought we would offer it to others so they can enjoy the perks of a dog park without fearing possible negative interaction with certain canine issues. A dog park with no worries...that's us. We kindly request no bookings before 8am or after 7pm so we can exercise our own six pups. Thank you!

GPS does not take you to the correct location so please please read my welcome message before pulling into property**** ****Please visit the extra’s section to add on the pool at an tadditional $10 per reservation if you want access to it*** Traveling RV’ers are welcome! The place is big and open and makes pulling in an RV extremely easy! 16 acres divided into two separate pastures. One pasture has friendly cows in it that you and your fur babies are welcome to interact with. The other pasture is fenced as well but no animals in it. There is a garden area with couch, chairs, and table that you are welcome to sit in and enjoy the shade the 100 year old live oak tree provides. There is a lighted gazebo with table and chairs. I keep water bowls outside. One near the RV and another in the pool area. You may need to use one of the many hoses found around the property to fill those bowls with water. New 15x30 salt water pool, I will have doggy life vests available but in case I don’t have one that fits your baby right I do suggest you bring your own. The pool has a large sun shelf that you and pups can lay/sit in and not have to swim. Bring you a mixed drink and enjoy some private pool time! Inside the enclosed porch you will find the standup wash station. Professional wash station with everything you need to wash your fur babies and dry them. Please be sure to add this option in the add-ons section prior to checkout. I live on the property so if you ever need anything before or while you are here just message me on the app or call me at the number provided in the automated welcome message. My dogs will be inside entertained so you shouldn’t hear them barking. I really hope you enjoy this place as much as I do. To ensure everyone’s safety please be sure to arrive and leave on time so you don’t run into another guest and their reservation. Unless requested, I generally don’t meet my guests as I don’t know their fur babies aggression type. Welcome! We offer an 80% shaded, fully fenced area on a gated property in rural Clermont. We have an automatic watering system with two drinking bowls and a dog activated sprinkler. When you tire of throwing tennis balls, get out of the heat in our outdoor Living Room. This covered spot has seating for four people. We also have a hammock and several swings. Bring quarters to feed our goats a snack. Use the provided stainless steel bowl to collect goat treats from the machine. Please note: This is a farm. Our goats are safely contained in another pasture and will not be near your dog(s). While here, you may see chickens, turkeys, cows, tortoises, hawks, barn cats, and more. Sign up for this option under the "EXTRAS" section. There are less expensive Sniffspots in Orlando you can visit, but none of them offer the amenities that Pepper's Backyard And Pool does. If you want to enjoy the dog days of summer swimming in a beautiful, clean, refreshing saltwater swimming pool with your dogs, Pepper's Backyard and Pool is the spot for you! Make your reservation now! Fully fenced in large backyard for your dog(s) to run around and play in. This spot is perfect for any dog, but especially for reactive dogs that aren't able to run free or be around other dogs or people. When my dog Pepper was alive, I couldn't take him to public parks without him having to be muzzled and tethered to a very short leash. Pepper was a mix of Chow, Siberian Husky, German Shepherd, and Wolf. Unfortunately, he was not able to be socialized. But he enjoyed his backyard, and now I'm offering Pepper's Backyard to other dogs like Pepper and for every dog to run free, play, and be happy off leash. Please be careful not to throw balls or frisbees over the fence and do not take any toys home with you. They are the property of Pepper's Backyard. An inventory of all toys is taken before and after each Guest visit. Missing, damaged or lost toys will be charged to you at $10 per item, and you will be expected to pay for it before the end of your visit either by Cash, CashApp, or Zelle. Please supervise your dog(s) and do not allow them to dig holes in our yard. There is a kiddie pool filled with sand in the far right corner of the yard, and that is the only place your dog(s) are allowed to dig. Any holes dug or any damage done to our yard, pool, patio, or yard furniture will immediately be reported to Sniffspot, and you will be banned from returning to this spot. Do not urinate in the pool or in the yard. A guest bathroom is located inside our home that you are welcome to use. Please know that there are 5 working and monitored surveillance cameras that take video clips of everything you, your dog(s) and any guest you may bring with you are doing while you are on our property and by booking at Pepper's Backyard you all acknowledge and agree to being video recorded. There could potentially be neighbors of all types walking through my neighborhood since my home is located in a highly populated residential neighborhood. As a safety precaution, please lock your car doors, keep your dogs leashed while entering and existing my property, and be aware of your surroundings.
