Lena's 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Champaign

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Our yard is beautiful and HUGE with lots of mature trees and out buildings for dogos to explore and, ahem, pee on! LOL! Our to little dogs adore the space and enjoy barking at the “big dogs” - the cows from the UofI who occasionally come close to the property. There will always be a water dish you can fill with the hose and if you are able to contact me, and have a human bathroom emergency, I can even give you bathroom access (at least for most of the month of July). I can’t wait to meet the fur babies!m

Frequently asked questions about Georgetown dog parks

Are private dog parks better than public dog parks in Georgetown?

Yes, private dog parks in Georgetown eliminate the major risks of public facilities: unpredictable dog encounters, inattentive owners, disease transmission, and chaotic environments. With Sniffspot's 115 private locations in Georgetown, you get complete privacy during your booking, professionally maintained spaces, and flexible scheduling. No more worrying about aggressive dogs or unsafe conditions. Lumpy's Playground and other highly-rated Georgetown locations consistently receive 5-star reviews for safety and cleanliness.

Are Sniffspot dog parks in Georgetown safe for all dog types?

Absolutely! Georgetown Sniffspot locations welcome puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel overwhelmed at public parks, high-energy dogs needing room to run, and reactive dogs requiring privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets exactly the environment they need with no compromises. Whether your dog is friendly, selective, anxious, or anywhere in between, Georgetown has 115 options to match their temperament.

When can puppies start visiting dog parks in Georgetown?

Puppies can visit Georgetown Sniffspot locations as soon as they have age-appropriate vaccinations (typically around 8-10 weeks with their first round of shots). Unlike public dog parks where you'd wait until puppies are fully vaccinated at 16+ weeks, Sniffspot's private bookings eliminate disease risk from unknown dogs. This early, safe socialization in Georgetown helps prevent fear and reactivity issues later. Many Georgetown trainers specifically use Sniffspot for puppy development.

How do I find private dog parks near me in Georgetown?

Browse Georgetown's 115 private dog parks on Sniffspot by entering your zip code or neighborhood. Filter by distance (within 5, 10, or 25 miles), then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities like fully fenced dog parks or small dog parks. Each Georgetown listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Lumpy's Playground is particularly popular among Georgetown dog owners.

Are Georgetown dog parks good for small dogs?

Yes! Many Georgetown Sniffspot hosts specifically mark their spaces as "small dog friendly," meaning they're sized appropriately for toy breeds and small dogs. Unlike public dog parks where small dogs can be intimidated or injured by larger dogs, Georgetown private bookings give your small dog the entire space. Filter for secure fencing with no gaps, smaller yard sizes, and hosts who cater to petite pups. Some Georgetown dog park locations even have separate small dog areas.

What's the difference between Sniffspot and public dog parks in Georgetown?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Georgetown mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. You can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 115 Georgetown locations give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, you get amenities like fully fenced dog parks, small dog parks, and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Do Georgetown dog parks allow senior dogs?

Yes! Georgetown Sniffspot locations are excellent for senior dogs who need gentle exercise without the stress of public dog parks. Older dogs can explore at their own pace, rest when needed, and avoid being knocked over by rambunctious dogs. Look for Georgetown spots with flat terrain, shaded areas, easy access, and smaller sizes if your senior has limited mobility. The privacy means your older dog can enjoy off-leash time safely and comfortably.

Can I rent a private dog park in Georgetown by the hour?

Yes! All 115 Sniffspot locations in Georgetown are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer if needed. Book instantly through the platform, arrive during your time slot, and have the entire space to yourself. Many Georgetown dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise for their dogs.
