Our play park is located on a lovely equestrian property...we are fully fenced gated private home/facility. There are farm animals, the sounds of wild birds everywhere, we are friendly and love to say hi. This year we are working on adding all kids of fun things to our newly designated dog park.... come on and play :)
Beautiful 2 acres, sloping hillside leading to a lush pasture meadow. Peaceful and secluded, plenty of shade and also large sunny areas. Fresh waters available at all times. Fully fenced with 6 ft chain link, easy access and property hosts always on site
We are on 10 acres and would love to share our yard with you. Beautiful Mountain View’s amongst grape vines with gravel pathways. On the interior portion of the park is a dirtbike track with a more rugged terrain and incline walking. Definitely more weeds, but if you are looking for a more off road feeling this is another option aside from the full pathway around the perimeter of the dirtbike track. This time of year the grapevines are a beautiful with lots of beautiful green foliage. We do also have a cool off spot in the front of the house under a very large old pine tree with roses to smell while your dog has their belly on the cool green grass by their water bowl in the shade. Where your new morning or afternoon ritual begins. Please note: Pool is an ‘extra’ charge. You can add this item as an extra while adding this spot to your cart. Not included in base charge. PUP PARTIES 🎉🥳🎈🎁🐶🐾🎈🎁🎉 We are still new to SniffSpot but have been asked multiple times recently if we would host pup parties. This is something I have not yet put a price point on but can make this feasible as well. If you are interested in coordinating something, please message me and I can send you SniffSpot items available for parties. (i.e. BBQ, Tables, chairs, shaded areas, pool time. etc)
There is a quite place with a big lot. You can see in the pictures.

If you would like to share the spot with friends, please select the correct number of additional adults in the EXTRAS. The maximum number of adults at our spot is 8. Great for large dogs and sectioned for smaller pups too! We currently have no dogs or other pets, nor children. This is our private home. The space is open most of the day between 9am-8pm (Daylight hours). Summer grass areas are sunny and bright and begin to be shaded by the afternoon. Driveway Parking Please when possible. My neighbors prefer it. **BARKERS: My neighbors are starting to complain about excessive barking. If your dog is extremely vocal, this spot may not be the best choice. Normal and light barking is totally fine. I personally don't care, the barking doesn't bother me but I back up to neighbors on all sides. ((Especially if you choose morning or late afternoon hours) Digging is ok in the small fenced area to the right and water is available. Plenty of seating for humans. Host is usually on sight and works from home. Contact with host is optional.
Welcome to our little farm! It's never perfect and always a work in progress, but I think your dogs will have a blast in our large backyard with lots to explore and smell! Please note: we actively work on thistle and foxtails abatement on the property (it's a neverending battle 😩) you might find some that we missed. Send me a message and let me know where you see it! We have three kids and a menagerie- 99% of the time, we're in survival mode 😂 Your dog will love the large backyard with the hill that's perfect for loping up and down and sniffing all the exciting smells that come with country living- so many gophers, birds, and even deer make their appearance from time to time. We have goats, a black sheep, chickens and ducks in the pasture that backs up to the fenced yard, so your dog will get a lot of new experiences. You can relax on our deck while your dog explores. We just finished a daybed swing which is super comfortable and shaded under the wisteria vine 🩷 We have a sweet and docile Great Pyrenees named Bosco who is basically a saint and is nearly perfect. And then we have Rocco 🤣 We just adopted Rocco, and he's currently adjusting to life outside the shelter after waiting 99 days to be adopted.... He has destroyed all our screens and water fountain pumps, along with the regular chewing of toys and shoes. We are trying to keep up with him, but it's been a challenge. You might find some stray pieces of *something* that we missed from his jaws of death. Both of our boys will be crated inside during your visit. We're on a well, so we don't water the lawn a ton in the summer to conserve water, so it can get a little dusty, but we do keep things mowed and trimmed. Our garden and yard is a work in progress- I'm currently focusing on adding drought tolerant native plants to work with my favorite blooms. There will be small changes in our retreat every time you visit (at least, that's my goal 😂) You'll see piles of cardboard by my goat pen waiting to be used as a weed barrier under mulch. I promise it's not a pile of trash- it's all part of my master plan to not use herbicides and have an organic garden. 🌱🌏 We hope you and your dog loves our Sniffspot!
Fully fenced, hilltop yard. Almost 2 acres of fully fenced yard. Various terrain. Oaks and other trees and grass. Beautiful views of the bay. Tucked into the Rachno San Antonio Preserve.
Fully-fenced yard in the Los Gatos hills on a quiet street. You can park in the driveway, and then enter through the wooden gate on the left (when you're facing the house), and then proceed into the backyard through the black gate. The yard is fully fenced with dog bags, toys, treats, and water available. Feel free to use my garbage can.
Fenced in field behind a dog training facility (Bay Area K9 Association). Use it to play fetch with a single pup or host a dog play date session!
This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is a few minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around if you see a small waterfall or a house in the distance. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards.
**JUNE 2024 UPDATE: Our pasture is now brown & dry but we have mowed the fully-fenced area to be as short as possible. The hillside is scheduled for a mow but currently longer, dry grass. Please be aware of this before booking (it is not lush, soft green grass anymore). **APRIL 2024 UPDATE: our fully-fenced dog park is now open. The lower pasture (approx. 1/4 acre) is fully fenced and provides a relatively flat area for you and your dog to enjoy. We have water access in this area, too. Additionally, guests can enjoy the adjacent hillside which is partially-fenced. You are welcome to enjoy this off-leash or, if you're more comfortable, take a little stroll through the grass. Our property is pretty much full sun. If you visit midday/afternoon, be prepared for heat as the weather warms up. We have planted some trees but they are still quite small.
Large open wooded area between two homes (both of which are our homes) which connects to a lower meadow area.
Private 7’ fenced yard with turf. Large area for zoomies. We have a large rain/sun umbrella upon request.
A cozy and fun space for you and your fur baby to enjoy. Feel free to use any of the chairs and tables and make yourself at home. This space is entirely yours while you are here. We welcome all fur babies and special events. Reach out to us if you have any questions! Have a Wuffable Day! 🐶
Hello! We’re just getting started hosting with Sniffspot and are excited to host you! Please let us know what we can do to improve the space. A past guest let us know we needed better signage, so we got a bright blue sign printed and hung it on the fenced area. Another guest mistook the community garden (incompletely fenced) for the play area (completely fenced). If you see vegetables, the area is not completely fenced! You're welcome to explore, just be respectful of the gardeners and plants please. The avocado tree overhanging the play area is dropping fruit right now, so if your dog likes to eat random stuff on the ground please be careful! The play area is tucked between St Stephen’s in-the-Field Episcopal Church and the left hand fence (turn from Santa Teresa Blvd onto Avenida España, then take the first right and head to the back). There are two churches on the lot, ours is at the back, with ample off street parking and lots of gardens to explore, in addition to the enclosed play space. Feel free to message with any questions!
