Hello! We have 2.5 fully fenced acres for your dog to run, sniff, swim and explore. We have goats on the property that are fenced separately, but dogs have access to smell them. There are horses, goats, donkeys, and chickens on the neighboring properties. There is a pond and a pool that isn’t fenced once inside the yard. I have a dog who will bark when you arrive, but he does stop. There are several cats on the property who are used to large dogs and very good at disappearing. Chances are you won’t see them at all. I also have two small pastures that can be closed off to keep dogs in a smaller area if necessary. Lots of trees for shade. Our grass is always cut down and we keep the property watered (as best as possible) so no sign of rattlesnakes. During the spring/summer months, there are stickers, welcome to country life! Dogs are allowed in the pool, I just ask that you don’t let them in the pond and then the pool. It makes it very dirty. Please rinse them off if they do before entering the pool. The pool is salt water. If you want to swim with your fur baby, please click the “extra” to add that and follow all rules. I try to meet everyone for their first visit but if I can’t I will send a message letting you know. There is a picnic table and chairs so feel free to bring a snack or picnic lunch and enjoy. Two of them work as herding dogs, one is a paraplegic chihuahua (which really has no farm job) and the last one is a livestock guardian who does take her job very seriously. Fortunately, your booking will give us enough time to have the dogs secured before visitors. The swimming pool is for dog use only. Parking on the street only-please do not park anywhere on the property or driveway. We need that area clear for people coming and going. Campbell Dog Summer Home

Summer home, some ain't. Get it? Well, your dog gets my jokes. I have no dog of my own now but for an hour it will be nice. Dogs love to run up that rock wall and be 12 feet above you and patrol the fence. Birds will taunt them from the sky in that never-ending war and dogs are going to beg forgiveness rather than ask permission to jump in the pool but that is to be expected. The front is not fenced in but there is a lead adjusted to a few feet before the sidewalk.
