This was a great place for us. My two girl dogs loved it and spent most of the time swimming and running around the pond edge. It isn’t fenced so you need to make sure your dogs have good recall and won’t wander off. But we had a great time!!

My girl loved it - she was able to swim in a nice clean pond - say hi to some chickens (fenced in) and run up and down some nice mounds in the field - half hour and she was starting to get pooped out lol.

Not sure why people have been reporting cleanliness issues at this sniffspot. Grass was cut, no dog poop anywhere to be found and trash can provided. Securely fenced and my dogs had a blast. 2 piles of branches laying around which is a non issue! We will be back

First time visiting and will definitely be back! lots of space for my dog to run and play. Driveway parking, great space for letting your dog run wild and friendly owner.

It was nice to finally see a new Sniffspot in Detroit so I don't have to drive as far to find a worry free place where my dog can roam and play with her toy. She was very accommodating and we had fun!

Beautiful property! Really nice trails to explore. The pool is a nice addition. My dog definitely enjoyed being able to be off leash and smell all the new smells.

The spot was huge and amazing! It was very secure, my dogs played for 2 hours straight and there was probably still more to explore. The pool was filled, chairs for us to sit and watch, trails throughout the property. I did have 1 tick on my leg so just wear long pants and bring bug spray! We will for sure be back!! It’s like Disney World for dogs lol!

Very amazing spot to visit, our dogs loved running free and enjoyed the pool. The Rottweiler neighbor was not a problem, he seemed pretty well behaved actually. There was a small dog neighbor however that our dogs reacted to, but the neighbor called their dog in rather quickly when it wouldn't stop barking. Everything is very well maintained with clear trails through the wooded areas and a huge, expansive lawn. Yes, we did find poops when we got there, but we understand it's hard to keep track of a happy dog running around so we went ahead and picked up what we found. Brian was very responsive when I messaged him. Best sniffspot we have been to, our dogs were so happy!

Dogs loved it! There is a Rottweiler neighbor who was in the other side of the fence which my dogs liked. Tired dogs!

Our dogs love this Sniffspot. It’s large and wooded so they feel as if they are just running through the woods. Lots of smells and areas to explore. The neighbor does have a loose dog and roosters on the other side of the fence but our dogs handled it well. They get the most exercise at this spot than any other!

Beautiful property with trails, woods and grassy areas to play with your dog. Lots of room to run around. Definitely recommend.

Very nice spot. Wooded with open spaces for fetch. Sounded like it might be near a gun range? My dog, Penny, is afraid of everything so the continuous shooting was difficult for her but otherwise it's a great place.

We felt safe knowing the fence was completely secured around the property. And Marlow had a blast sniffing around and running through the grass. We had a great time!!

Definitely our new favorite spot! We’ll have to book double next time, because both the pup and the toddler weren’t ready to leave! So much space to explore.

FAQ about our Grant Township dog fields

Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
