Conveniently located right off the Loop 101 in South Scottsdale! 🏝️Our pool has steps leading in, but it does get deep (about 8-9ft). Please be sure that any dogs/humans using the pool know how to swim. Safety is our top priority! Our pool cleaner comes every week on Friday afternoons. If you book during this time, please be aware of this. 🎾There are toys for your use by the entrance gate. Please try to put the toys back in the basket before you leave! Toys are welcome to be used in the pool as well. 💧 There is a bowl on the back wall next to our hose for dogs to drink from. The bowl is refilled in the mornings, but if you would like fresh water, please feel free to refill the bowl with our hose. Just be sure to turn the hose off after use. 🚫The concrete blocks around the yard are there for important reasons. They are either holding down umbrellas or are covering holes in the yard. Please DO NOT move the blocks for any reason. They are there for your safety. 💩There are poop bags in the green planter on the large glass table. Please pick up after your pooch and throw the used bags away in the black trash bin located to the left of the entrance gate. Clean beach towels will be folded on the chairs closest to the entrance gate. If you use a towel, please hang it on the back of any chair so that we know it is dirty and needs to be washed. Swim, run, and have fun!!!

At night, the pool lights up—you can choose a classic white glow or switch to a color-changing mode just tell us what you prefer after booking. Dogs have plenty of room to zoom, climb and balance on the custom playset and tire pyramid, zig-zag along logs, dig in the designated digging area, or chase tennis balls and other toys. The playset also serves as an observation deck for dogs to climb and survey the yard, and the bungee tether tug lets them pull and play on their own. A sensory garden and a variety of tactile surfaces including grass, dirt, wood chips, turf, and pavers add new experiences to every corner. Wooden wind chimes provide gentle, calming sounds throughout the yard, and shaded areas and a pesticide-free environment make it a safe and comfortable space. Or perhaps you just want to “paws” and relax in the shade. If so, then Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for you....and your awesome human, too! Shaggy’s Shack in Tempe has lots of grass for running, chasing balls, and doing the zoomies! It’s fully enclosed with a 5 to 6-foot block wall and more than 25 trees and bushes to explore. You can play fetch with tons of toys and there’s a designated digging spot, too. Or maybe you just want to cool off in a diving pool that’s professionally cleaned every Wednesday–even during Tempe’s cold months. Oh, and Shaggy’s Shack also has features shaded chairs for your human to relax as they watch you explore, play fetch, swim, and have a pawsitively good time. Shaggy’s Shack’s residents (and their humans) will be home but out of sight. The entire lot is just shy of a half-acre, and it’s conveniently located in Tempe. Many dogs live in the area, they may bark in greeting when they hear you. We offer many pawsome amenities at Shaggy’s Shack, including bags and a trash can for your nature calls and a disposable water dish with lots of fresh water (and water for your human, too). Clean towels for drying off after you’ve doggie-paddled in the pool are also provided. Of course, use of the pool is at your and your human’s own risk. The pool is chlorinated and not heated in the winter months. Your human may use the pool to get a closer look at your pawsome doggie paddling technique. While we provide towels for you, we ask that your human brings their own towels. There is no fence or gate around the pool, and we strongly encourage you to bring your own doggie life vest if you do decide to get your paws wet. Discounts are available for multiple dogs. Visit times can be extended if there is availability. Respecting Sniffspot’s 30-minute transition time between visit times is very important. So that no one gets hurt or gets into something that could be dangerous, glass, alcohol and smoking are prohibited. All pups need to be up-to-date on all vaccinations to keep our resident and visiting doggos healthy. Since Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for dogs, please be mindful of your doggie to human ratio; kids are welcome but must be 100% supervised, especially around the ungated, unfenced pool. Who knows. 🤷 But what this yard lacks in size, it makes up for in nice artificial grass, a perfect spot for a doggie wedding reception by the fire pit, putting green, fenced off place for dogs to do their business, tons of shade, and I would advise not putting dogs into a hot tub... but I suppose it is your dog and this apps insurance.
