25 acres with mostly wooded trails, and some open fields. Tree-lined creek trail, weaves through property. Lots of logs and boulders for dogs to sniff, chase wild life, and cool while doing it. Easy parking and access. Info for guests: Leash not required. Some fencing in back may be down. Use your best judgement. Clean up not required. Driving Instructions: When going up drive way stay to right. Continue towards barn. Look for red metal gate. Stop and park at red gate. Please do not drive past gate. Walk through gate. Go any direction from there. But... For most direct trail to creek walk to end of riding arena. On far side of arena there is a double gate. Trail is just past this gate. Follow this trail into woods. Creek is at bottom of hill. Once at creek multiple trails intersect near creek. There is also a trail on other side of creek that will weave back around. Trails are somewhat rugged. Watch for fallen debris from trees, ruts in ground caused by flooding, exposed roots are trip hazards. Watch your step.

Bring your camera, metal detectors, pups, and bug spray, sunscreen, (provided when available!) Come roam our 7 acres including fields, backyards, and separate isolated training spaces. Our farm offers all the new sniffs like goats, chickens and horses safely contained and used to dogs. There are also often deer spotted on the edges of the fields! Use our 1 acre adjacent private field that has NO animals within sight for additional areas to run and play. Farm has many water access points, indoor shelter in case of inclimate weather. You are welcome to also bathe your dogs outside. The property is at the end of a 0.8 mile gravel driveway. There are paths around the property in the woods and a field for ball chasing. It’s very far from a main road and safe for running off leash.

It is a small dog friendly park with amenities such as dog drinking water, tables, an indoor restroom, a field, and a trail for dogs to enjoy. Welcome to Elysium Farms! We are located in scenic Scottsville, VA down a private gravel road. We have access to a walking trail, large pasture, woods, and a creek! We have fenced-in farm animals your dogs can view. We will provide camping chairs, bottled water, water for your dog, a kiddie swimming pool and water for your dog to drink. We do have 3 dogs of our own, but they are fenced in with our underground fencing and with notice, we will be happy to lock them inside the house for your peace of mind and comfort! This is all on private, family land with plenty of roaming land!

We have a 5 acre OFF LEASH area available, and an ON LEASH walking trail in the back of our property. We are pleased to invite you and your dog to our lovely fully fenced in area on our 12 acre property in the countryside of Montpelier, VA. 30 min from downtown Richmond, VA - come escape to the quiet and tranquil area we have set up and fenced off for dogs. An additional nature area for walking is available in the back; however, dogs MUST be leashed in this area, as it is not fully fenced back there. Walking trails have been cut and wildlife is often seen in our little sanctuary. Please be mindful of neighbors and leave the area as you found it. Be sure to close ALL gates before you leave. Secluded 6 acres of yard surrounded by several more acres of woods. The yard it’s self is flat wide open space. There are little trails in the woods near the back area of the yard to explore with your pup! The back deck has seating that anyone is welcomed to use. There is a fire-pit area in the backyard that could be used if discussed with host. Sometimes there is small wildlife spotted in the yard and woods. We do have one pup who absolutely loves her yard but we wanted to share the love with other pups! We will keep our pup inside or out of the house when puppy guests are here!

There is a 8 foot wide, half mile path that runs the perimeter of a 6 acre wooded lot. The path is mulched. There is no fence, but lined by trees. If your dog has good recall, they are free to roam, as are you. Its a beautiful, peaceful and serene walk around a quiet wooded area. There is some terrain, and good for a runner as well. You will be required to pick up after your dog.
