Private time with your pup on 55 acres in a convenient location! This unique forest / farm has creeks and old growth forest and fields full of wildflowers and wildlife.

Peaceful area located at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain in MD’s Agricultural Reserve. Owned/operated by former Cape May, NJ PD ACI (Animal Cruelty Investigator). Many maintained trails. Spectacular views!

This field was once used for pony cart races. As such, there is .3 mile grass track for walking laps. There terrain in the center of the field is bowl shaped because it used to be an artificial lake. A beautiful creek borders the edge of the field. The depth varies, but most areas are only 1-4 feet deep. A lightly wooded area borders the opposite end from the entrance. Tucked away in the back corner is a little island accessible by a fallen tree.

We have a beautiful 80 acre farm with loads of space for furry friends and their owners to enjoy the outdoors! ****EFFECTIVE APRIL 1**** Our back large field that leads to our wood walking trails- please remain to the right side following tire mark trail. It is hay growing season and need to commit to that trail. This will be in place until our hay cut at the end of the summer, early fall. *please fill in any holes your dog may dig. This has been an increasing issue on our property. If your dog is a digger please visit our over grown arena which is at the very top of our driveway and has a bridge . They can dig to their hearts content in that location! This is a working farm! We have animals that need tending too, so you may hear us from time to time on equipment/ tending to our animals! We have options of fenced in spaces for our friends that prefer to be closed in, a space for climbing and digging , and open spaces to run or trails to walk! Currently back trails are not officially marked but path is clear with tire tracks. Please be mindful of trees or branches from above and below. Possible risk of tripping and falling in the paths. *****please take note for friends looking to use fenced in area-we have slats that need replacing****** This is on our spring repair list this year, so please use with caution. We also do sell our farm fresh, free range eggs, as an addition to our services, which you will find in the extras. You can add in with your reservation! We can’t wait for you all to visit! 68 acres and wooded trails and a large open field, located down a long privet driveway. Let your dogs run and play without the worries associated with a public park! We do have chickens, goats, and dogs on the property but they are either fenced in or in the house during your visit.

5 acres of woods to run free in, with a comfortable back porch to sit in peace with your dog. House is on a private road, with access to a private trail system. Avoid the crowds at Great Falls park - 10 minute walk/hike to the Potomac River! Or walk down the road and see the horses at the barn. Access to water from the spigot on the back of the house.

We have a 30 acre tree farm located at the base of Sugarloaf Mt., away from roads, houses and people. Very secluded, with a 1/2 acre spring fed pond for swimming as well as groomed trails for sniffing, hiking and training. We are also a Lab Rescue foster family for young puppies and help train for their next fur-ever homes. Our place can also accommodate for upland and waterfowl training. We are as well associated with Buckeystown, Poolsville and Peachtree Veterinary hospitals.

Raven Rocks Retreat, which is nestled on top of the Blue Ridge Mountains just off of Rt 7, is a peaceful escape for your dog to enjoy and explore. We have 7+ acres of land that includes a hiking trail in our woods and large grassy areas around the house. 🌲 The trail that circles our property through the woods, starts just off the side of our big yard area. It's indicated by small arrows pointing the way to the trail and also on the trail. You should only follow the arrows in the direction they are pointing, which will be right turns the whole way. We do have neighbors that have their own trails, so please be respectful and do not go on their land. They also may occasionally be walking their own trails, so we ask that you keep your dog on the leash through the trails only. They do not have to be on the leash on or near our grassy lawn areas. 🛑 You may occasionally see wildlife in the woods so please beware and understand you are accepting all risks when you make a reservation with us. Come for our glorious sunrises on the creek and sunsets in the fields or just to enjoy the day exploring the fields and creek. The dog area starts past the broken black fence behind the house and goes down through the fields and into the woods. I would appreciate it if you would kindly please keep the dogs leashes and wait until you are past the broken fence to allow your dog to do any business. To get to the creek, go past the broken fence and keep going down the hill to the back tree line. I have included a map in the pictures. And then just keep walking; it’s about five minutes from the house to the trailhead. We have set out fluorescent yellow markers on the trees on the back tree line as you approach the trail. We also put up a blue sign that says “To The Creek” at the trail head. Once in the woods, walk down the steep hill and take the trail to the right at the bottom of the hill. You will see a red barn. That trail will take you out to a spot where your dog can splash around and I’ve cut a few trails to explore back there.
