55My dog, Kaya, and I had a great time. Kaya loved exploring the pasture we were in and then she wanted to explore where the horses were. The first time we were there, Kaya and her bestie ran with the horses. We went back to the pasture and Kaya saw Deer. Her favorite thing to do is to hunt. I had her on a leash at that point, but she got away from me and ran after the deer. Of course the deer got away. This is our 3rd time here and we plan on coming back again. My dog, Kaya, and I had a great time. Kaya loved exploring the pasture we were in and then she wanted to explore where the horses were. The first time we were there, Kaya and her bestie ran with the horses. We went back to the pasture and Kaya saw Deer. Her favorite thing to do is to hunt. I had her on a leash at that point, but she got away from me and ran after the deer. Of course the deer got away. This is our 3rd time here and we plan on coming back again. Melanie is very good about responding quickly to anything you may want to ask her.

Tula and I had a great visit! Melanie was extremely communicative and helpful. I am training a service dog and specifically wanted to introduce her to the horses, so Melanie worked with me to come up with a plan. The horses were so well behaved and though Melanie warned about possible manure, the property was very clean and well maintained. It is a bit muddy (if you don’t want to deal with that then don’t pick a horse farm!) so it was so kind to provide a water pump to wash shoes and paws off before leaving. My dog had a blast and I enjoyed myself as well! Though the property is along a road, it’s set far enough back that you really don’t notice it or hear much road noise. Overall great first Sniffspot experience and I hope to go back someday!

55This is our second time visiting the farm! One of the spots changed to another field, which was super cool. The only thing is be sure your pup has reliable recall for this part of the spot (there are 3 fields to use) because the fence isn’t dog proof, but the owner makes that super clear! Highly recommend. Just as described, easy online booking, good directions, smaller enclosed space for timid or little dogs. A larger open space fenced on three sides but within the compound itself that is fenced. I wasn’t sure what my dog would do when turned loose, so she played in the small area first. Then we walked over to feed the ponies and then horses, which was so fun! Then we proceeded to the larger open area. Ivy ran free and was so happy after having to become an apartment dog the past year. She never even looked at the “unfenced” side as it is wooded with a small hill so a natural barrier. Everyone we encountered were so friendly and welcoming—we will definitely be back. This Farm is an Awesome! place to let your fur-baby(ies) run free. Two friends and their dogs came with me. They ran with the horses and loved it! They also loved running in the pasture and the wooded area. We will definitely visit again. I was so busy watching my dog have fun, I forgot to take a picture. My friend took a video. I would highly recommend this place.

55I loved this place!! It was very clean and so enriching and full of so many farm smells for my city dog. I would definitely make sure your dog as great recall or just bring a long line!! The acres that had the three fences I would say really only had two that made an L shape. The cable fence would be easy for any dog smaller than a Great Dane to get through! There were no horses over there and that pasture had wooden fences, but I was definitely nervous about my dog exploring spaces she wasn’t supposed to. BUT we will definitely be back and loved this space!! Water bowls were at each place we could go in and directions to get there were super easy and clear to follow while we were there. :)Katie S.

We started off in the smaller fenced in area at first. This is PERFECT for small dogs too. Then spent the rest of our time in the field. It was such a lovely experience. Clean, comfortable and safe.

Lots of good sniffs, but make sure to wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty as the areas are mostly clay and also have livestock droppings when you get further from the entrances (but around the gates was pretty clear). Fencing is secure enough for large dogs but would make sure your dog respects boundaries or has good recall if they're <30lbs as they could squeeze through the fence if they wanted.
