You will find dog bags on the fence next to it. -You can’t see any other houses from the fenced area. -You may encounter wildlife (moose, deer, etc)… typically outside of the fence but possible they could jump inside. -You should typically not see any other dog or human. You might hear a dog barking in the distance or occasionally my dog barking from inside. You might see me walking around inside my home through the windows. There is a small chance my neighbors will ride their horses behind the fenced area but this is not common and they usually move through quickly. -If you need towels, please ask ahead of time. -Please, no digging in the area with short grass near the house, near any fence lines or near the solar array or well head. Do not enter the solar array or well head enclosure. -Access on the property is limited to the fenced area.

In addition, you have another acre for agility, complete with jumps, tunnels, dog walk, a-frame, teeter, etc. All high end equipment. The running surface is flat & covered with wood chips. The course is changed every Monday morning. Course maps are in the box hanging on the entrance gate. The wood chips are all from local trees, so no worries about added chemicals, etc. Several seating areas are provided, along with a picnic table.

All the horses are calm and easy around dogs, which we need it to stay that way. **Summer note-dog pool water will be changed once a day for 2026 due to water restrictions and costs. This is so we do not need to increase the sniffspot fee** We have a fully fenced area roughly 10 acres with mowed paths for walking. You are welcome to walk thru the field if desired. Occasionally, the horses have access to the field during non sniffspot hours so there will be delicious horse poop, some dogs will eat it and others not. Most dogs process horse poop very well and many vets will tell you it’s good for their gut. There are random balls and toys in the field for use, water is available and if we are home during your visit should the restroom be needed we will honor use of that. Most days there is a bin with free dog food and/or treat samples. You are welcome to bring agility or equipment and toys each visit if desired or practice nosework. We are also open to hosting groups, such as agility, nosework or trainers who need a large outdoor space that is fully fenced. Off street parking and can accommodate large vehicles. Small dogs are welcome, do note the fencing is graduated so depending on size of dog, some real tiny ones who are escape artists may not be the best fit. Beautiful area fully enclosed with 6' fence at the lowest. Separate entrance to this field from the street. Street parking on dead end road. Approx 400' x 200' field for running or throwing balls or frisbies. Picnic table shaded from afternoon sun. No lighting after dark. In winter when days are short pay attention to when the sunset time is. You'll have light for about another 30 minutes after sunset. If you want to run around in the dark that's fine too just bring your own flashlights and lighted dog collars Weekends tend to get fully booked. If you don't see any open slots Change your criteria to 30 minutes as there might be a 30 minute slot still available. There is a water hydrant near the chicken coop. Lift up on handle as far as it eill go and wait three to four seconds for the water to begin flowing. (Pull hard) Turn on splitter valve if no water comes out. There's a large green trash can next to the shed for poo and some bags available if you didn't bring your own. In Summer early mornings are usually cool. After noon the picnic table will be in the shade and an hour or two before sunset a good portion of the field is in the shade. But midday can be hot with no shade. I recommend checking the weather forecast before visiting or only booking 30 minutes when hot. Make sure to check chat messages in the app and turn on notifications so you see them. Communication is important

4th Mesa 7 acre Private Dog Park In Bailey

10% of profits donated to local SPCA monthly. 7 acres of fenced forest to play on including a hiking trail for the pet owners! There is a switch back trail through the middle of the property marked by tree branches/logs and pink/green flags. Further trail description below the instructions. Best way to find the trail from the gate is to either follow the fence line up to the right all the way to the top of the property or walk straight up the gulley until you see the first green flag. The green flags mark the beginning and end of each switchback. There are 29 rows of switchbacks. Between the green flags there are pink flags to guide you with branches and logs to mark the left and right of each trail. There are a few places where the trail merges which is marked by 2 yellow flags. The last (or first depending on the ascent or descent chosen) trail row has yellow flags that have been colored pink (see pictures at the very end of the collage). It is about a 4 mile round trip hike if you follow the switch backs up then down (or vice versa). For you hiking purists the switchback rows are not perfectly parallel. This was a 3 year manual effort. The more ya’ll hike it the more visible it will be.
