55It was nice meeting Todd today and his dad they were mowing the lawn, I appreciate how they keep the place so well kept. It was worth the drive from Seattle. We will definitely be back! My dogs had an amazing time sniffing and swimming in the creek. Nice area to play fetch! Even provide water for the pups and human. I appreciate the shaded area seating for the humans. If this place was close to me I would probably go 4 times a week. We arrived 10 minutes late and the host offered to let us stay the extra 10 minutes so we can have the full hour that was very nice of them. We will definitely be back! 55What a fantastic Sniffspot! We booked an hour and a half since we were driving from Seattle. Todd’s directions are very easy to follow and it was great to spend time in a fully fenced space. My friend’s dog enjoyed running full speed after her ball while my “doesn’t care about balls” dog wandered around sniffing the smells.
There are two fenced sections. The upper one is nice and shaded and the lower one has a wonderful creek running through it, with a table and umbrella to enjoy for the humans. Todd is very thoughtful with so many details! Dog water, human water, flowers on the table and binoculars for bird watching. It’s such a great way to spend time with your pups. He mows the grass in a way that creates interesting trials/spaces to explore for dogs like mine who can’t actually explore public trails in real life.
As the description says, there are horses next to the lower creek field so I kept my high prey dog on a long line just in case. I didn’t want him to run up and bark, even though there is very tall grass in between the fence and property. He ended up never seeing them and was able to have him off leash when we weren’t as close to the horse fence line.
Todd is also very kind! I got a flat tire on the way there, I quickly changed to my spare and while our dogs were enjoying play time he sent me the number to the local Les Schwab and a picture of my tire size so I didn’t have to walk back to the car if I wanted to call and make an appointment. It was so thoughtful!
