BOOKING TIP: On weekends we tend to fully book up but check back incase of last minute cancellations. Canine Canyon Park is entirely private and safe for a unique, fun and relaxing experience. Our park is situated in a beautiful canyon with no neighboring yards to worry about. We are located in central San Diego, just up the hill from Snapdragon Stadium in Mission Valley, and are easy to access from major freeways including the 15, 8, 163 and 52. Our property is double-fenced, which brings peace-of-mind to our guests. The top patio area, where you will enter and exit, is fully-fenced and secure, as is the lower yard with its own gate. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, on a dead end street. Street parking is always available either right in front of our house or close by. You will have private access through a side gate to our backyard. Dogs love to run up and down the dirt slope in our yard to chase balls and expend their energy. The slope leads to our flat, lower dirt yard which is perfect for your dogs to run free and explore. We do have a turf area under the play structure, as well as inside the enrichment area. We provide everything you could possibly need during your visit including lots of balls, Chuck It launchers for fetch, toys, water bowls, a hose, enrichment activities, plenty of seating, shade, a cot for the pups, towels, and more - all of which are included in the base price! We also offer lots of fun upgrades to add-on including an 8 ft round stock pool, pup ice creams, puzzle toy bin, self-service bath station and more! Beautiful 1/3 Acre Fully-Fenced Fruit-Filled Yard For Dogs To Rent In La Mesa

Hi! My husband and I have a home on a third of acre on a small quiet cul-de-sac in the hills of La Mesa. The backyard is very large and is terraced, so it’s great for exercising dogs or sniffing around (lots of great smells). There are also many fruit trees you are welcome to (orange, grapefruit, lime, lemon, and fig). We also have a pergola with 4 chairs and a fire pit. Lots of shade is provided by our pecan and jacaranda trees most of the year. The backyard ground is a mixture of brick pavers, gravel, and mulch. We have several hoses throughout the yard that you’re welcome to use as much as you want. There is an empty koi pond that can be used as a splash pool for dogs too with our hoses. We also have outdoor electrical outlets and strong WiFi if needed. It’s a hillside home so there are great views of Mt. Helix and even the ocean on clear days. Fully Fenced Private Yard Near Mission Trails/SDSU

The chain link fence on both sides allows views into neighbors’ yards, both of whom have small dogs and one of whom has kids. They are sometimes in their yards, very hard predict when, but it’s not every day or all the time. The back of the yard that borders the canyon is a wooden fence which you cannot see through. My yard is basically a big hill with a completely flat section at the bottom so your dog can run all of the place to sniff, run up and down the hill for a challenge, or just play fetch in the flat area for an easier time.  You will need to park at the bottom of the hill on a different street and walk up the path to access the back of the yardz It’s like a bonus mini hike through the canyon. Recommend wearing sneakers or walking shoes, not sandals as there are lots of plants along trail. I will send more detailed directions when you book. Please do not go to my house at the address listed. I will ensure my dogs are inside when sniff spots are booked but if they see your dogs out the window they will bark. I will leave out bowls of water and toys, and per your request can fill a kiddie pool with water for swimming at the top of the hill closest to my house. You will not have hose/water access otherwise. There is very little shade so please be conscious of that if your dog is sensitive to the heat on hotter days! Thanks and have a great time!

A beautiful pomegranate grove with trails running all throughout the property. Get away in what feels like the country without needing to travel too far while supporting a great cause. . The property directs a small, but, slowly growing sanctuary. The dream is to build a place where dogs that have no where to go can live out the rest of their days in comfort & freedom. . Every booking helps us get closer to that dream 🐾 . The entrance to the trails are separate from the main gates for full privacy. When you book with us you will receive our number prior to your arrival, at which point you will be sent maps to the 4 main trails. . Venturing off of the beaten path is encouraged too! Explore & have fun, but if you do, we encourage you wear pants that cover your ankles so you do not get stickers in the socks 🧦

Rooster's Fun Run To Rent

Welcome to our fully fenced area! We have lots of shade under the tree and patio. There is street parking available and side gate access. There is no visibility to the neighbors’ backyards or into our house, so you’ll have privacy. Please note that the neighbor has dogs that bark intermittently. There is a good sized digging area available in the back corner by the tree- where there is dirt and leaves instead of grass. Feel free to adjust or move the umbrella. The main light at night is a motion sensor, so walk towards the patio if it happens to turn off. Any other questions, feel free to reach out! Hose/ Sprinkler instructions: Feel free to switch the hose attachments; we have sprinklers and a nozzle. On the control box at the spigot, turn the wheel to Auto. Hit “Manual/Clear”. It defaults to Station 1, the left hose, but you can change it to the right hose by pushing Station. Then push “+” to get the amount of time you want the water to run. Hit Manual/Clear or turn the wheel to Off to stop the flow.

Your dog can follow every interesting smell off leash while you relax and enjoy time outdoors together. Welcome to The Artsy Dog Place, our one-acre, fully fenced private dog park in Southwest Escondido. Enjoy a little countryside feeling, yet just about 5 minutes from the Rancho Parkway exit off I-15 and within easy reach of Rancho Bernardo, Lake Hodges, 4S Ranch, Peñasquitos, San Marcos, and Del Dios Highway. We started this park because dogs have always been part of our lives. We consider them family, just as you do! We’re blessed to have this space and wanted to share it with other dogs and their people. Since we opened, more than 3,100 dogs have visited, and our guests have helped make us one of the top spots in San Diego County! Your visits, kind words, and suggestions have taught us so much about what dogs enjoy and what their parents appreciate. We’ve made little changes along the way based on your feedback, and this place continues to grow with you. We want you to feel part of it. The dogs who visit regularly already have favorite trees, shady corners, and a special route they follow when they arrive. They walk through the gate knowing they’ve arrived at their outdoor home. This is their territory! We love that. What began as a space to run has become a little family of good people and happy dogs, with room for new friends. We love watching the dogs from far away. I always say they’re smiling as they run up the hill. We’re blessed to have this space to share, and we receive so much in return: each dog leaves a little of their good energy here—their “smiles,” their laughter, their joy. A little something for the humans, too Our new outdoor art studio is partially covered, with supplies available at no extra cost so you can paint a rock while your dog explores. Add it to our collection and leave a little piece of yourself here. You can also leave a message, signature, or drawing on our community shed. Passion fruit vines are beginning to grow around the art space, and we hope they’ll provide more shade next summer. We have a basic sink at the art studio. When you’re finished, please rinse and clean your brushes and leave them in water so they’re ready to be enjoyed again. There’s also a picnic table beneath our large oak tree. Bring a tablecloth, pack a picnic, and enjoy time with your pup nearby. Please leave all glass containers, bottles, and drinking glasses at home to help protect the paws that run, roll, and play here. You’ll find several places to sit and make yourself comfortable. Our covered pergola offers shade on sunny days and shelter from the rain. There’s a bench beneath the pepper tree and a swinging bench at the top of the property, where you can enjoy views of the mountains and surrounding landscape. You may find your own favorite corner, just as the dogs do! A natural place that changes with the seasons Our park follows Southern California’s seasons, from rainy, green days to warmer, drier months, with a little of everything in between. With the rains beginning, everything is looking green and lovely. During the warmer, drier months, the landscape becomes more golden. It’s all part of life here. This natural acre sits on a hillside, with uneven ground, patches of earth, fallen leaves, and plenty of interesting smells. We care for it while preserving the character of a natural—and sometimes wild—outdoor space where dogs can be dogs. Something very important to us: we do not use pesticides in the park. You may find the occasional ants, weeds, and other little bugs sharing the space. We manage weeds through regular hands-on work and natural methods, including vinegar or baking soda for certain tasks and clover to help crowd out weeds. It’s an ongoing process, and the landscape will change with the weather and all those busy paws. Ground squirrels and gophers live here too. We do our best to manage their activity and keep the entire acre safe, but new holes can appear between checks. Please wear flat, sturdy shoes with good traction, watch your step, and keep an eye on your dog. Let us know if you notice anything that needs attention. Please discourage digging. If your pup makes a hole, use the provided shovel to fill it before you leave so the next visitor has safer footing. Your own space to enjoy When you reserve the park, the enclosed dog park is private for you and the dogs in your booking. We understand how much having your own space can mean, especially for pups whose personalities call for a little more room to themselves. Our dogs are in their separate area on the other side of the property or, most likely, inside our house. You may see me across the property working in my tea herb garden or berry patch, or hanging out with my chickens. You may hear our chickens and roosters, though they’re far enough away that you won’t see them from the park. Our neighbors have horses, which you may occasionally hear. We have a privacy screen along the shared fence to help provide separation. Horses can be startled by a ball or Frisbee landing near their feet, so please keep toys within our park and aim your throws away from the horses and their fence. At the top of the property, please stay at least five feet from the neighbor’s fence. Our neighbors value their privacy, and respecting this boundary helps us keep The Artsy Dog Place open for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors and their animals, too. A quick rinse before heading home We have a hose for muddy paws or a quick rinse. Please use water only—no soap, shampoo, or full baths, as we don’t have suitable drainage for bathing products. Keep rinses brief, turn the water off completely, and return the hose when you’re done. Water is precious here, and every bit we save matters. During the rainy season, balls may get wet or muddy. If they’re too muddy, please leave them in the provided bucket, and we’ll take care of cleaning them. A little care from each of us One of the nicest things about this community is how we care for a place we all enjoy. Please pick up your dog’s poop and leave the park ready for the next family. It’s always lovely to arrive at a clean place, and a little care from each of us makes that possible. Poop bags are available by the entrance. Put filled bags in the designated green bin only; the blue bin is for cans and plastic bottles, and the black bin is for regular trash. Before you go, return toys and furniture to their places and gather your belongings. Please keep your dog leashed when entering and leaving, and stay within your reserved time so each family can enjoy a private visit. No smoking, alcohol, or glass containers allowed. Make yourselves at home Whether you’re visiting for the first time or your dog already knows exactly where they’re headed, we’re happy to share this place with you.
