55Loved it! My dog is very reactive and being able to see him run around and get curious about the pond was so amazing!! The trail is clean as well and there’s even cute ducks in the pond. 55Very nice and generous host! We got lost because of maps and he was fast to respond and kind enough to let us in the other entrance.
It takes a while for my dog to be comfortable in a new environment because of her anxiety, but she definitely enjoyed the off leash experience and did a lot of sniffing! Hopefully in our next visit, she’ll be comfortable enough to play with her favorite toy (flirt pole) unleashed!!!
PS: there’s trees around that provided shade so it was not hot even when we were scheduled during lunch time Joyce H.

Absolutely perfect! Totally gorgeous! We had the best time here. We drove from Carlsbad and was worried it would be too hot for our dogs, and us, but the grounds were cool and one dog cooled down in the water and the other one we soaked with the hose. So grateful for the hose right by the parking spot and nice towels waiting for us. That was such a nice touch. This was the main event for our Sunday! We're already planning to have our dogs birthday there next year!

1. There are ducks. They mostly stay in the pond but sometimes walk around it. They seem very savvy about avoiding dogs but determined dogs with high prey drives might have a tough time with this.
2. There is utility equipment around and an open garage that overly curious dogs could make a mess off. But the owners are very laid back about dogs sniffing everything!
3. There were 3 people on the property while we were there - 2 fishing and one working on a vehicle. All friendly and easy going, of course! But dogs with stranger danger might need their humans to send a note to the host ahead of time to ask for more space.
This was a great spot for our friendly, easy dogs. We will be back! AJ A.
