Located in quite suburb not far from the city. Kid sized pool, deck with seating and end table, and hammock available in nice weather! I have two dogs of my own. But they will not be out to play. Come enjoy our secret sanctuary sniffspot!! We have just over 11 beautiful, unfenced acres located in North Lansing. There is a ton of off street parking, plenty of nicely mowed yard to run and play, berry bushes, roses, fruit trees and more. Scenic, shady trails are mowed through the large untamed field that spans the back of the property. Because the field is in it's natural mid-growth succession, it hosts a wide variety of plant and animal diversity. If you're also a birder like me, be sure to bring your camera!

With a long driveway, our yard sits back in the woods with a well groomed yard. Many trails through the woods that are pretty groomed and marked.

Welcome to our little slice of heaven! Daisy farm is our nearly 2 acre farm where animals are always welcome to play! We personally have 2 Shepski puppers (Cerby and TT), a few barn kitties, American Chinchilla rabbits and flemish giant rabbits, a duck, Chickens, Turkeys, a yellow headed Amazon parrot, a blue fronted Amazon, a blue and gold macaw, a musk snapping turtle with an array of fish! We are always adding new rescues so you never know what new smells have been added! **We are an active homestead, this mean we do allow our animals to free range when we are not hosting. Come enjoy our 1.5 acre property! The property is partially fenced. The property is completely fenced across the front of the home, parallel to the road. It sits on. The property is then fenced on one side of the yard by a wooden fence and trees, but not fully enclosed at the back. The other side of the property is not fenced, but has a very dense tree wine that offers security. the final border of the property is a stream. The stream is wonderful for splashing in and running in, drinking from, and being partially submerged in. The water level does very throughout the year, I have not lived on the property long, but I have personally seen the stream go dry in extreme heat for a few days, as well as being deep enough for a small dog to get swept down it. Probably 50% of the property is lawn, 30% wood, and about 20% tall grass/wetter area/muddy areas which your dog is welcome to dig in. We have off street parking, trash cans, and a hose available for drinking or rinsing your dog.

Greetings! Our land is a mix of flat grass (think lawn), some long/short pasture, and the majority being heavy wooded forest area. You will enjoy some rustic logging trails up there (but please don’t expect a perfect state park-type path). The terrain can be steep to climb to the top depending on your skill level. Once you are at the “top” of the hill, there is “flat” land that you can hike (I’ve even jogged up there -slowly!). For those of you that like a challenge, besides our two pathways up the hill, we offer a very steep side of the hill to climb. One of the photos shows water – that is the case if there is a heavy rain (likely September/October) but please know we don’t always have a running stream. We do offer a hose and bucket to rinse your dog’s feet at the end of the stay. The photos with the leaves are from last year – this is what the property will [hopefully] look like in September/October. November starts getting cold. December will bring snow with some plowed areas. For accessibility: if you use a wheelchair, you can drive your car onto the land and use the flat part of the land if you can access grassy lawn. If there is interest, I can offer to take your dog up the hill to run around for a nominal fee. We are new to this so please ask questions. Consider this spot “forever wild” woods. It is incredibly calm and peaceful up on the hill. You can quietly listen to the woods or bring a radio and sing to your dog loudly. If you are not a climber, even playing fetch behind the barn is nice. Note: inside the barn is off limits. This is a working property and there are tools, tractors, and such that are not good for any animals. Please Remember: there are no fences and we have a state highway in front of our property. All the area that you would use would be set back an appropriate distance, but I want to be clear for everyone sake that there are no fences. If your dog does not come back when called, perhaps this spot isn’t the best for any off-leash activity. Wild Animals: There are deer in the woods (and some dogs love to chase deer!) so please keep that in mind as well. We have also seen rabbits and an occasional skunk, raccoon, fox, groundhogs, and once even a porcupine. We hear coyote sometimes but I have not seen any on our land. Upstate New York has been known to house bobcats, mountain lions, and bears among others, but I have yet to see them on our land as well. We do see bald eagles on occasion. Lastly, your reservation is for 90 minutes to allow for time to truly enjoy nature.

Fenced and more fenced for safety. The yard is sectioned off. You have direct access to River but if you do not the fence prevents dogs and humans from reaching the water. Sit in the middle of the yard and let your dog or dogs run wild. We have dog toys and balls in a box for your use. Do not be shy about opening up an umbrella. If it’s there use it. If you need anything and see us outside - just ask. We love dogs and are very accommodating. We are constantly in process of updating the backyard and garden. There might be stuff out in yard and we try to keep it contained.

Nestled in a quaint neighborhood west of downtown Syracuse, this conveniently located, fully-fenced dog yard is a favorite among local pups! Your dog(s) can get their zoomies out while you relax under the gazebo or sit at the table. The mature and plentiful trees offer plenty of shade on sunny days. Digging is allowed in specific areas.
