Overall, it is fairly flat and dogs love to 𝙧𝙪𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮 not to mention all the great sniffing potential. There are open areas for dogs to stretch their legs and chase each other and flowers, shade and seating for their human companion(s). There is a 𝙢𝙖𝙣-𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 (more detail below) in the back that depending on rainfall, may be running full or just at a trickle. It is ideal for your pup to explore and cool off in. The yard offers plenty of great 𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙩 opportunities to take tons of pictures throughout the various seasons. 🦋 The yard is a 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙃𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩®, we are trying to help nature where and when we can. The flower beds have been designed for local critters - birds, turtles, pollinators, etc so absolutely no killing of any bees, butterflies, spiders, turtles, snakes, birds or other wildlife you may find. It also means you will likely encounter gnats, mosquitos and possibly ticks - all great bird food but not so nice for us humans and our pups. So please be sure your pup is current on their preventatives. We do provide bug spray for you to use - just be sure to use in the lawn and not near any of the flower beds. In the summer months grass may get a little taller to help out the fireflies. If you can, take a cool pic to share - we'd love to see it. 💉𝗩𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦: To help ensure a safe environment for visiting pups and our own, guests will need to provide current 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 for rabies and DHPP (distemper, parvo, etc) for EACH dog visiting. Each dog visiting must have received their full round of puppy vaccines AND must be at least 6 months old. If you have questions, feel free to reach out. Once on file, you are good to go until their renewal date. If the vaccination info is not received 1 hour prior to your start time, your reservation will be cancelled. If you have questions, feel free to reach out. 📆𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦 & 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 - During the summer months we typically setup for 1 hour appointments. If you are interested in an appointment longer than 1 hour, please reach out and we'll see if we can accommodate. 💧 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠 - This is a man-made stream that typically runs in the warmer months and is initially filled with either city water or rainfall. That said, Mother Nature adds to it, so we do recommend your pup have his/her 𝙇𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙤 vaccine. The stream is usually shutdown or just a trickle in the winter months with some water remaining at the end to help support the frogs overwinter. Please do not allow digging or rough play in the stream - we want to keep it in good shape for all our guests to enjoy and avoid costly repairs. If it is important to your visit that the stream is running and at what level (full/trickle) please reach out to the Host to check its status. 🐕 𝗗𝗢𝗚 𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗧 - Our site is set for a 4 dog limit. If you would like to bring additional dogs, please send a message. The request will be considered on a case by case basis. If you want a key date/time, I recommend securing it with a reservation for one dog and then updating the reservation once we have talked. 🐶 𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗗𝗢𝗚𝗦 - There are some spots at the bottom of the fence a small dog (cat size) might be able to get under - they are meant for our cats and other wildlife. If you are bringing a small dog, let me know and we can block the openings ahead of time. 🚗 𝗩𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗧- 𝑴𝒂𝒙𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒎 𝒐𝒇 2 vehicles per reservation. If a 3rd vehicle will be brought, please select and add "Extra F - Extra Vehicle" to your reservation and send us a note so we can make sure there is sufficient space. 👶 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡 - Children under 18 are to be supervised at all times. Parents are responsible for any and all damage their child causes. ✨𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗦 - Extras will change depending on the season. If you don't see something you might like, let us know and we'll be happy to consider it. Lakeside at Reptar's (Private Access to Lake!)

A reactive dog himself, our rescue Reptar understands the value of private playtime in a safe space and invites you to enjoy his personal pup oasis! We welcome you and your dogs to enjoy our fully-fenced backyard with private lake access. We offer shade for our guests, both from the trees and a movable pop up tent. We also have a dog-kiddie pool for them to splash around in or rinse off after their dip in the lake. We provide outside toys, doggie waste bags, treats, towels and drinking water for you and our furry guests. We offer a 25 yard leash you can use when your dog is swimming if you are worried about their recall in the water. Swimming is at the discretion of the owner/booker, and we have no ability to control lake conditions. We even have an agility course for some extra fun! We welcome you to sync your phone to our Bose speaker to listen to your own music or just enjoy the sounds of nature. In the springtime, it’s the perfect weather for your dogs to swim while you enjoy the view. Lots of wildlife to enjoy, you may even help us find newly hatched baby turtles during your stay! You will see us out depending on the time feeding/ watering animals. Especially in extreme weather. We have a beautiful 80 acre farm with loads of space for furry friends and their owners to enjoy! Trails, a pond, creek, seating areas for relaxing , swings if children come along. There is truly something for everyone! *please fill in any holes your dog may dig. If your dog is a digger please visit our over grown arena which is at the very top of our driveway and has a bridge . They can dig to their hearts content in that location! This is a working farm! We have animals that need tending too, so you may hear us from time to time on equipment/ tending to our animals! We have options of fenced in spaces for our friends that prefer to be closed in, a space for climbing and digging , and open spaces to run or trails to walk! Currently back trails are not officially marked but path is clear with tire tracks. Please be mindful of trees or branches from above and below. Possible risk of tripping and falling in the paths. 5 acres of woods to run free in, with a comfortable back porch to sit in peace with your dog. House is on a private road, with access to a private trail system. Avoid the crowds at Great Falls park - 10 minute walk/hike to the Potomac River! Or walk down the road and see the horses at the barn. Access to water from the spigot on the back of the house.

8 acre property for your pup to enjoy 🐕

8ac farmhouse property with plenty of options for your dogs to roam around and play. There's plenty of grassy areas to pick from. Very private, quiet, and tucked away in the back away from the main road. We don't have any pets, so yours will be the only ones on the property, and we're rarely home. Feel free to use the triple fenced garden area before we start growing anything. There is new home construction up at the top of the hill they have their own short black fencing around the homes, so just stay beyond the fence. Water pump and doggie bowls available outside near the front right side of the home in front of the outhouse. Trashcans are available at the side of the house across from the shed near the trampoline. There's a basketball hoop and 🏀 if interested in playing as well as some swings for kids closer to the house. Feel free to use it. Lastly, please use Google Maps for navigation instead of Waze as it's the most updated one for finding the property. The way to operate the water pump is to pull the lever up and all the way back and wait a few seconds and the water will come out the hose. PS- if you're ever running late or got lost and some of your paid time is used up please feel free to stay a little longer to make up for it if no one else is booked immediately after you.

The Burton Family Farm Private Dog Park In Fredericksburg

The Burton Family Farm is a family-owned, 49-acre farm. It’s open, clear land, with a 3 acre pond, a beautiful spot in Holly Corner. Someone is at home, on the property, 24 hours a day. Easy to get to, we are located right off route 17 & 5 miles from 95, right behind Stafford Lakes. My family has lived in Holly Corner since the 1800s, it is safe and quiet. Come enjoy the fresh air, beautiful view, relaxing farm with your dog or dogs! We are a different type of a working farm, as we provide storage and camping on the property and we also grow hay. There is many areas on the farm that one can go that you cannot see others, the road or the other side of the farm. Enjoy your visit!
