Come visit our large backyard smack dab in the center of Marietta, between Sprayberry and Lassiter High School! Available to you are dog toys, mosquito repellent, hose, trash can, sprinkler, pooper scooper, poop buckets, kid pools, and comfortable seating for up to 8 people! Parking is available in the driveway to the left of the shed, and entrance to the yard will be to your right. We are working on perfecting the walkway. Let me know if you have any questions! If you have a reactive dog or just crave some good privacy, this is the perfect spot for you. Tall, secure wooden fence is 6 feet tall on the sides and 8 feet tall across the back. Lots of level grassy areas to run and play in! There’s a fire table for your use. Please be sure to turn it completely off before you leave. When it’s hot out, there’s plenty of shade and we provide an oscillating fan on the deck for some cool breeze. A hose and kiddie pool are provided during the warmer months. We turn the water off in the winter so our pipes don’t freeze. Tons of seating under our brand new pergolas. There’s a living room area plus an additional table and chairs with umbrella. You can hear our neighbor dogs however both the neighbors and myself have a fence, so you don’t have to worry about interactions.

The property consists of two properties at the end of a private drive at the end of a deadend street which is adjacent to a huge forest (>1000+ acres) which is bordered by the property, railroad tracks, Tanyard Creek and Lake Allatoona to the north so it is very secluded and private and you can let your dogs run as much as they want. There is a hiking trail which could easily take you >30 minutes to the complete which we have marked. There is plenty of parking between the two homes. Please keep your dogs leashed while in the parking lot, but once you enter the forest, you can let your dogs run.

Next to some veggie/fruit plants are little white baggies made of plant based citronella, pure egg, and garlic oil—this is to repel deer and rabbits. They stink. My dog sniffs and walks the other way, yours should as well. In the event they take it, I can send you the info of the product which does not harm animals or humans. It’s just stinky. The yard is mostly flat but not completely. It’s likely you will hear other dogs from the neighborhood, but unlikely you will see them. You may also spot the occasional deer in adjacent lots. Please park by the mailbox or sides of the house nearby. If your dog poops in the Ivy, you don’t have to clean it up. Please clean up if they poop in the grass.
