What people say about dog parks around Stone Mountain, Georgia
Had another great visit today. Our boys love this location, there are so many great areas to sniff and a large open yard to run around in. The pool sealed the deal. They were both exhausted after 45 min. I highly recommend this spot.
My 3 dogs and I had an absolutely wonderful time!!!!! They loved the pool & had soooo much room to run and play. There were plenty of toys and treats left by the host, which was awesome 🤩. She also left out nice rocking chairs & insect spray for the humans. We will most definitely be back soon!
Great spot with plenty of space for our two dogs, who had a blast! Lots of shade to avoid the sun. A wonderful space!
Beautiful space, thoughtful details like bug spray, water bowl, trash bin. The hosts answered a couple questions very quickly, and then my pooch had a great time exploring and zooming.
Stellar spot, with thoughtful touches that made our visit that much more wonderful.
I visited with three of my own dogs for a doggie playdate with my mom and her pup. The shade and places to relax were much appreciated for dogs and humans alike.
Our three senior dogs and one bouncy youngun all had a blast - sniffing all the things, running around, and enjoying the balls and fresh water the hosts kindly left for us.
We had too much fun to take any photos but next time I’ll be sure to take some. Listing photos were all perfectly accurate though and the space was easy to navigate to and parking/fencing were perfect.
This spot was great! My pitties thoroughly enjoyed sniffing around for an hour. The hosts provided clear instructions that were easy to follow. Would recommend putting on bug spray before going.
Best yard ever . Plenty of room to run and relax . Shady spot with a great bench to hang with your dog . Hosts have fresh water and a place to dispose waste . Very convenient to lifeline if you want to bring a pup !
Great spot for dogs to explore and run in. My dogs loved exploring the different terrains and hiding in the bushes. They slept for hours after their visit! There were some mosquitoes, so I recommend using spray prior to your visit. The instructions provided by the host were easy to follow and super helpful.
Wonderful HUGE backyard oasis for our four dogs to sniff and run to their hearts content! Well maintained, stocked with everything you need during the visit and very shady (we were there in the morning). Can’t wait to go back again soon!
This space is sooo big! The host provides everything you may need during your vist. My high energy pup had so much fun running around!
Stef and Sam’s backyard is awesome! It’s huge and gorgeous! Lots of space for our pup to explore and play frisbees. Great communication and east access. The splash pool is an amazing add-on for the hot summer! Highly recommend this spot!
This spot was awesome! A huge open space for our dogs to run. Lots of great Ivey and foliage around the periphery to satisfy their hunting instincts. I forgot my tennis ball but the host had several on the property. Plenty of shade and seating for humans. Great communication, easy to get in and out and close to home! We will definitely be regulars!
Very spacious yard with lots and lots of shade. My senior dog spent lots of time sniffing around before he even had the energy to play fetch! Definitely plan to return!
This yard is awesome! The hosts gave very detailed instructions so it was easy to visit too. We had a blast and hope to book another visit soon!
Exactly as described! Lots of helpful info before we arrived, easy to find, fresh water (and a backup!), some play toys, and bug spray. The yard was well taken care of and super spacious. Loved that we could see our dog at all times too. Would be a great spot to bring a blanket and some snacks. We went a little after 4 and it was nice and super shady. Hammock was a great add on! Highly recommend this spot. Thank you!
Brockett Bark Park was great. I booked to celebrated my staffy’s 3rd birthday and it was everything I hope for, plus a little more. The place has plenty of space with ample shaded and sun spot, a variety of toys and complimentary necessities that allowed us to pack light and focus on having fun. We will definitely visit again.
Incredible spot! Already booked another visit. Host is absolutely wonderful and extremely responsive. Lots of room for my two large reactive dogs to run around. Fully fenced. Plenty of shade. Easy to access. Can’t say enough good things!!!
Going to be one of our regular spots! Lots of open space, well maintained yard/fencing, and pretty private. Definitely bring your dog here for some sniffs and open space to run! The deck/seating area is great too if you prefer to relax while your dog plays.
My dogs enjoyed exploring this yard and the woods! One of the owners was home and he was very nice and gave my dogs some treats.
Had a great time during our visit! There was no one around. We walked up to the gate, went in and they sniffed for 45 minutes. I hope I was in the correct area. We will visit again for off leash time. Thank you for providing this area to the public!
What other types of private dog parks are available?
Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 0% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Stone Mountain area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 295 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 60 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
