Open now! Maxie Water Park 🏖️Private Dog Pool In San Jose

Fully Fenced
0.11 acres

🐾 Welcome to Maxie Pool! Open now for this warm spring! The first private swimming pool in the area, designed just for dogs to splash, swim, and have fun! 🌞 About the Pool -Chlorinated and professionally cleaned weekly. -Pool depth & entry steps: The pool goes up to 9 ft deep on the east side, but most of the west side is waist-high shallow water. There are 3 wide steps where dogs can easily enter, rest, or leave the pool. -Dog life jackets in XS/S/M/L sizes (one of each), pool toys, and treats available. -We are open in spring since the weather is warm recently. The water temperature depends on sunshine and weather (not a jacuzzi or gas-heated pool). In early March, we tested that the pool water temperature is around 63-70F degree during day time. We had some big pups(golden retriever, bernedoodle, and labs) come to swim, and they all had a lot of fun. However, the pool is unsuitable for people to swim in spring. - Trees provide shade during most of the daytime in the backyard for guests to sit and relax. -The backyard has a mix of stone, mulch, pebbles, and turf, giving dogs plenty of textures and areas to explore. -A few extras provided: sunscreen, wipes, and dog treats to make your visit easier. ✨ Before You Book -This is a dog pool, so the focus is for your pups to enjoy the water. Even though we clean after every visit and run the filter constantly, dogs naturally bring in hair, oils, dust, and dirt. This is not a resort-style pool for people. -Please brush your dog before swimming to reduce shedding(brushes are provided) 👥 Guests & Dogs -2 guests included with the first dog. Each additional dog includes 1 guest free. -Extra guests: $15/person/hour. If you are bringing more guests, you can select in the EXTRA section when booking. -For safety reasons, children under 16 are not allowed. -Bringing 4+ dogs or hosting a doggy party? Please contact us before booking and we’ll be happy to help arrange! 🏊 Pool Rules To keep the pool safe and enjoyable for everyone: -Supervise your dogs at all times; no coach/lifeguard provided. -Pets & humans swim at their own risk. -No bathroom available, please plan ahead. -No food, treats, or glassware in the pool. -No peeing/pooping in the pool, please let us know immediately if your pup has accidents happen. -Dogs must be leashed entering/exiting; off-leash only once the pool steel gate is locked. Keep the pool steel gate locked at all times. -Keep noise down. no yelling, screaming, or loud music (quiet neighborhood). -Respect landscaping, there are plants, turf, rocks, and mulch; dogs play at their own risk. -Bring your own towels, no hoses, outlets, dryers, or shower facilities available. -Do not touch pool equipment, misuse will result in charges. -Pool cleaning is every Monday, there may be pool chemicals present. -Security cameras are at the entrance and backyard; footage is reviewed only for incidents. 💙 Thank you for helping us keep Maxie Pool fun, safe, and clean for every pup. We can’t wait to welcome you and your dog for a tail-wagging good swim!

Sterlyng's Private Dog Park In Morgan Hill (Temporarily Closed)

Partially Fenced
10 acres

We are on 10 acres and would love to share our yard with you. Beautiful Mountain View’s amongst grape vines with gravel pathways. On the interior portion of the park is a dirtbike track with a more rugged terrain and incline walking. Definitely more weeds, but if you are looking for a more off road feeling this is another option aside from the full pathway around the perimeter of the dirtbike track. This time of year the grapevines are a beautiful with lots of beautiful green foliage. We do also have a cool off spot in the front of the house under a very large old pine tree with roses to smell while your dog has their belly on the cool green grass by their water bowl in the shade. Where your new morning or afternoon ritual begins. Please note: Pool is an ‘extra’ charge. You can add this item as an extra while adding this spot to your cart. Not included in base charge. PUP PARTIES 🎉🥳🎈🎁🐶🐾🎈🎁🎉 We are still new to SniffSpot but have been asked multiple times recently if we would host pup parties. This is something I have not yet put a price point on but can make this feasible as well. If you are interested in coordinating something, please message me and I can send you SniffSpot items available for parties. (i.e. BBQ, Tables, chairs, shaded areas, pool time. etc)

Frequently asked questions about Marina dog water parks

Where can I find dog water parks in Marina?

Marina has 11 private dog water parks available through Sniffspot, offering swimming and water play in completely private settings. These locations range from compact spaces to properties spanning 24.3+ acres. Whether you need a space for your reactive dog, puppy socialization, senior dog gentle exercise, or high-energy play, Marina dog water parks provide safe, private environments. Filter for "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, or fencing types to find your perfect match.

How many dog water parks are in Marina?

Marina offers 11 dog water parks ranging from compact spaces to properties spanning acres. You'll find diverse options: fully-fenced for escape artists, indoor climate-controlled for year-round use, swimming pools for hot days, agility courses for training, and more. Each Marina dog water park listing shows detailed photos, amenities, fencing specs, and reviews from local dog owners.

Are Marina dog water parks good for all dog types?

Yes! Marina dog water parks work for every dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer without large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space, and reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the environment they need. Browse Marina's 11 options to find spaces matching your dog's specific temperament and needs.

Will I encounter other dogs at Marina dog water parks?

Not a chance. Marina dog water parks operate on a strict one-booking-at-a-time system, so the space is entirely yours during your reserved slot. Host dogs are kept away, and there's a mandatory 30-minute buffer between bookings—meaning you won't cross paths with the previous or next guest. For Marina owners with reactive dogs, puppies, or any dog needing privacy, this makes all the difference in providing safe, stress-free exercise.

Are Marina dog water parks safe for fearful or anxious dogs?

Yes! Marina dog water parks provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers, anxious dogs can explore a facility featuring pools, splash pads, or water play areas specifically designed for dogs to swim and cool off without overwhelming encounters. Many Marina dog owners specifically choose dog water parks for fearful dogs who need gentle, stress-free exercise environments.

Can puppies use Marina dog water parks?

Absolutely! Marina dog water parks are excellent for puppy socialization because they're private and controlled. Puppies can explore a facility featuring pools, splash pads, or water play areas specifically designed for dogs to swim and cool off, practice recall, and build confidence without the overwhelming chaos that can create fear or reactivity in young dogs. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting.

How do I choose the best dog water park in Marina?

Start by filtering Marina's 11 dog water parks for your specific needs: secure fencing for escape artists, "fewer dogs seen/heard" for reactive dogs, flat terrain for seniors, appropriate sizing for small dogs, or specific amenities for training. Look for "Top Spots" like Marina's The Pawsome Dog Park with excellent reviews.Read feedback from other Marina owners with similar dog types to find your perfect match.

What are Marina's dog water park requirements?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or titers. Each Marina host may have additional rules on their listing. Most dog water parks welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit public dog parks. Adult supervision is required at all times.
