Pibble Hill

Welcome to Pibble Hill! The top pasture of this small farm is available for dogs to sniff and exercise. Sometimes there will be farm animal smells, horses and goats, and wild turkeys, rabbits and deer may also visit. My neighbor has a friendly small dog who is sometimes out in their fenced yard, but she is usually good about bringing him in if someone is in the sniff spot. There is a nice hill to tire everyone out, and a pretty view of my little farm. If you sit at the top and throw balls down the hill your dogs will get very tired! There is a trash can, bags, picnic table, a swing, a table and chairs, a fire pit chairs, a splashing trough, a dog toy box, and a hose. You can pull right in through the double red gates and close them behind you, to leave my neighbors room to drive past. This will also ensure your dogs don't escape from the sniff spot when you open the car doors. There is a large horse water trough, feel free to dump it and refill it if you need to (and if you're strong enough!) Please have fun with the dog toys - if your dog tears one up just toss out the stuffing or pieces. That's just what dogs do! I'm recovering from surgery (May/June 2026) so I'd appreciate it if you'd do an extra walk around before you leave to double check for poop - it's a bit hard for me to climb the hill just yet.

Hidden River Private Dog Park in Swannanoa, NC

We are back in action after the flood and the Swannanoa Valley where we are located is as beautiful as ever. I'm happy for our four legged friends to enjoy again our large, flat grassy fenced in area for unleashed dogs on a 20 acre farm and wedding venue (Hidden River Events) next to the Swannanoa River. Parking is just outside the fence on the grass. There is a large deck with seating for relaxing while your pup(s) play. If it has rained within 24-48 hours of your visit, the spot may be muddy (even though it is a grass pasture) so it is good to bring towels for your pup. The fenced area has no trees so, there is an umbrella provided. If you use it, make sure to close it before you depart. This is a large farm and the distance from the sniff spot to the river is a good ways. You are welcome to walk your dog on a leash to the river if you don't see any other dogs on the property or an event going on. In 2026, we are not having a lot of weddings un late August through mid-November, so you should be good to enjoy the river. Horses and goats reside in their own fully contained pastures on the property away from the Sniff Spot. We have donkeys now as well. Donkeys are not like horses. Donkeys have the fight reflex, so do not allow your animals to get in the fenced in area with the donkeys. A donkey can kill a dog, easily. There is a water bucket on site to refill a water bowl if the bowl is empty when you arrive. There is water in the barn. We try to keep it filled, but sometimes miss it. Feel free to leash your dog and take him/her down to the river to play while you are on your visit.

Silent H Acres In Morganton

Silent H Acres is almost an acre fenced spot for your dog to go sniffing, running, fetching, and discovering. There are toys to play with (frisbees, tug rope, tennis balls, etc) and sticks to fetch. The grass ranges from 2” mowed, to 4” natural, up to about 12+ inches. A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. For you, we will keep a track around the perimeter of the fence mowed so you can use it for a walking track. PLEASE NOTE, the electric fence is DISCONNECTED. *Please excuse our mess! Bookings are currently limited for August while our grass recovers from construction of a new water feature* Welcome to the Wet Spot! Designed by dogs for dogs our 1.4 acre fully fenced play area features a 1/2 acre swim pond, dock, sand dig pit, grassy open areas, and a shaded pavilion. Feel free to bring your own SUP or kayak! The Wet Spot is a great place to work on paddle training. Our pond is regularly tested for Cyanobacteria (blue green algae).

This is the best dog park in all of Buncombe County! Have you ever wanted to run your dog on three football sized flat fields? This is your chance. Located behind UPM Raflatac Warehouse in the cane creek industrial park this huge spot is the third one we have built. It’s perfect for all ages of dogs and their humans because of the terrain! If you are up for an adventure, we have cut in a small trail to access Cane Creek. It is part of the same property but is NOT fenced in any way. If your pup enjoys off or on leash hikes, then feel free. The trail is outside the fencing look for the silver gate across from the Gazbo. It is an out and back path with two small hills about a 3-5min walk in the woods. A picnic table, gazebo with swing, and hammock are located here for lots of seating and shelter. Some toys are provided. I think a Remote Control car or a drone, a mountain bike might be really fun to bring or even a Remote Control plane. This spot is actually part of the old Fletcher airport. No Digging! PLEASE! All I want in life is to help people to have balanced dogs in their lives! Enjoy!

#4 Fun Field for a Furry Frenzy #4- Games and Planes

This site may be muddy after a rain. This is a large private field that is tucked just a short distance from downtown Hendersonville one block from the Hendersonville Community Co-op and not far from Flat Rock! This spot Less than 10 minutes from Exit 53 on I-26! Making it the perfect place to stretch your legs before traveling on! It has everything you need: - Flat- though the ground is uneven - Drive in access so you can park inside the 12" gate into the fenced area with your pets! - A custom built gazebo for shelter from the sun and rain - No drive by traffic - No people walking by - Full view of your pet while they run and play! - Games for people and dogs are already onsite! - Please remember to bring water for you and your pets. Please No Digging! Fence is a visible barrier and made of a wire and plastic mesh. There may be holes if chewed on, I am passionate about helping dogs and this is my fourth Sniffspot and I will do all I can to make this one just as enjoyable for the responsible pet owners closer to Henderson County!

Dog Play Place- East Asheville

PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF BEARS! I have had a bear in the back yard once or twice, they can jump fences! If you need a better idea of where it is, it's within walking distance of the East Asheville Farmer's Market, Library, Fire Department, and Wells Fargo. I'm also close to Bull Mountain Rd. A few Announcements: While I make every effort to ensure that other guests have cleaned up after their dogs, I have occasionally been informed that they have not. So I must now update the description accordingly. I welcome you to partake of my beautiful backyard in a peaceful neighborhood- as long as you are aware it is possible there is occasional dog poo. Also be advised that if you are extremely sensitive to poison ivy, be aware there may be some in some parts of the yard. If your dog is a curious sort, be aware that there is some yard equipment being stored under the deck and this area is open and not blocked off. I cannot anticipate every guest's need, but I am happy to offer my yard for a small fee to those who understand what is being offered. Thank you! Please clean up after your dog! Recommendations: 2) If you book an evening time, be prepared with a flashlight, or know when the sun sets. I have outside lights, but I can't guarantee they will always be on, and they don't illuminate the whole yard. The space: A wide open space with rolling hills for your dogs to play, while you enjoy the view. *The sprinkler is actually a garden hose that is a "soaker" hose. It sprays water out of it like a sprinkler. There are plenty of sticks you can throw for the dog to fetch. (The location is 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 5 minutes to Downtown Asheville, and close to the Folk Art Center. The newly renovated Haw Creek library and playground, Creekside Tavern, and High Five Coffee are just down the street. You can also walk to the Haw Creek Farmer's Market from here on Fridays, 3-6 pm. You can walk straight from to the Mountain to Sea trail from here without having to drive, and hike to Lunchbox rock (seen in pictures here.) I included the porch pictures so you could see the sunset. :) ) There is hand sanitizer, sunblock and bug spray under the stairs, under the side of the bottom step that you are welcome to use.i

Pondside Paws Park

Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

We have a half acre, fully fenced, safe environment for your play time. A few toys, fresh water bowls, poo bags and a trash can are all provided. Plenty of chairs for the dog moms and dads to relax.

Abigail's Barkyard Basecamp!

.75 acres in lovely East Asheville, convenient to town! The yard has two private gated entrances on either side of the home, perched at the top of the hill. Make yourself at home and relax on the comfy outdoor furniture by the firepit or the hammock while your pup zoomies to their heart’s content. There's plenty of dog toys for tug or toss, plus tennis balls and throwers for the Fetch Fanatics—and even a fancy pooper scooper to save your back. Our neighbors on either side do have dogs, and you may occasionally see them out and about-- but they mostly mind their own business (though the Husky on one side might yodel a hello), and all fencing is private/ not shared so there is no possible fence contact. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so an indoor bathroom is available if needed, along with WiFi if you need to stay connected during your visit. We also have two mini Aussies (one tiny, one shmedium). We'd be happy to set up a safe play date if anyone is ever interested, but they stay inside and can't see the backyard so your visit is totally private! We fully understand that sometimes you want a private dog park for a reason! There's a water hose on the back of the home to fill water bowls, as well! We always try to pre-fill these before visitors come, but the spigot can be turned on anytime more water is needed.

Dogwood Acres: 3 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Space In Mars Hill

Enjoy a peaceful space in Mars Hill located on an active hobby farm. Our Sniffspot is fully enclosed with no-climb, 4ft goat fencing and includes walking paths. Easy access from the main road with a small graveled parking space right in front of the Sniffspot entrance. As most properties in Mars Hill, the acreage is located on a hillside, it may be steep for some. Your dog can play near the creek at the bottom of the slope which is more flat and shaded or take a short hike along the path to the top and enjoy amazing mountain views while your pup plays in the pasture! We do have chickens, goats, sheep and pigs that remain in their separate fenced in pasture, but occasionally the chickens may roam in the parking area, so please be aware.

A fun place to fetch, play, and relax. Do not be fooled by the name; anyone from anywhere is welcome! This spot is named in honor of my hometown, but is not exclusive to only those residents. Spot details: 30' L x 20' W chain-link fenced lot, so it is ideal for small to medium-sized dogs. The spot is grassed, features these features in the winter: a natural stump for "King of the Stump" play! Human counterparts also have 2 portable chairs stored outside the fence (under the tarps for protection), and a box with dog towels, toys, and other finds! In the summer, features include: a kiddie pool, 2 shaded corners, a Doggie Paddle Water Fountain, a non-tipping water bowl, and the same natural stump for "King of the Stump" play!
